Thanks for the extra anniversary wishes, you lovely lot!
We had our First Dance to More Than A Woman, and I did a routine with the girls to The Way You Make Me Feel - all very disco!

Just posted up my 19-week bump picture to my profile. Don't think I've got much to show though!

AbFabT · 10/05/2010 23:50

Sorry - didn't see your post, Hermya. Yes, that is awesome! Enjoy the kicks! :-) Wow!

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 11/05/2010 07:07

Abfabt: snap! It's a cute little bump, v similare size to me (also 19 weeks) no one can believe I'm half way!
Gorgeous wedding photos btw, and one of the most comprehensive music lists I've seen on mm love your wedding dress

Meanbeansmum · 11/05/2010 09:02

Hi ladies, marking our new thread.

I feel like having a lazy day, I didn't stop yesterday...yet still the housework calls me...sigh.

I think bump is fine, she's wriggling regularly 20+4 today. How's everyone else's bumps? My bump likes curry..., eating far too much of the stuff lol!

RooBear · 11/05/2010 09:24

morning all, I haven't felt anything yet! but I'm only just over 16 weeks. The girls at work reckon i've just had a big lunch! x

Elsa123 · 11/05/2010 09:33

Morning- I'm 17+5 and very rarely feel something but nothing particularly noticable. My bump seems to go into hiding when I'm at work and I'm still nicely fitting into my work clothes complete with the 3 inch wide belt that goes with it all. Hopefully I will see the midwife tomorrow- as well as moving house, not sure where I'll get to see her...so perhaps she'll listen for a heartbeat- 6 weeks is a long time to go without hearing anything.

floozietoozie · 11/05/2010 09:43

AbFab that's a nice bump you've got there. I love your wedding dress too. You actually remind me of a friend of mine.

Off to physiotherapy with ds shortly then I need to decide either lunch somewhere and straight to work and crèche or come home inbetween. Tuesdays are always long days for me as I don't finish till 10. Fortunately ds slept in this am so I didn't get up till 8.30, hurrah. Better go and wash actually! Byeee.

tiredfeet · 11/05/2010 09:54

abfab just been spying on your bump, but have to admire your wedding dress first, its beautiful!! Looks like you had a lovely wedding, you look really happy in the pictures. My bumps a little bigger but not loads, I think it feels big to me though, and my boobs have grown so much that I'm in maternity tops and they seem to amplify the bump if that makes sense, the normal tops /dresses that still fit don't make it look as big.

dilly so pleased you got to hear the heartbeat! gutted for you that you didn't though roobear as I know how reassuring I found it.

can't believe my 20 week scan is next week now

off to the safari park today with DH for a random day out!!

lilmissmummy · 11/05/2010 10:06

Abfab nice bump!
dilly your name choices are fantastic! I had a look but I havent got any interesting ones! Great to hear the heartbeat. I am hoping to hear mine on Thursday (not my heartbeat I meant... oh you know what I meant )
roo I would book another appointment with some excuse like you are worried about xyz and then while you are there ask if you can hear the heartbeat! Maybe she just forgot! I didnt feel my dc1 move until I was about 19/20 weeks!
floozie that is a long day, where do you find the energy?
elsa let us know how you get on tomorrow, I love hearing all about the midwives appointments.

I am very jealous of your little bumps mine is quite a big bump and I am terrified of looking like the side of a house by October! luckily it is hard and doesnt move so I know it is not all food! Soooo hungry though!

Hermya321 · 11/05/2010 10:09

Elsa I had to ask to listen to the heartbeat, they told me they didn't normally do it as they can find it really hard to find at around about this time. I had to agree not to panic as well. Good thing was as soon as she put the doppler on my tummy there it was beating away.

Abfab I love your curly hair as well, your DH looks like he's got a bit of a cheeky streak to him as well. You both look very very happy, as you should considering it was your wedding day.

I had the weirdest dream last night, I dreamt I went into labour and was trying to put out a request for help on Youtube. I think I then migrated over to MN to post as well. Me thinks I have spent a little too much time on here.

Hospital this am, then for bloods. Going to be a long job the amount of tubes I have.

AbFabT · 11/05/2010 10:16

seashells, are you saying you've uploaded a photo too - because I can't view your profile.
Anyway, thanks for the compliments on my little (operative word!) bump! :-)
Hee hee - I just cut and pasted the music list from my Facebook profile.
Thanks too, floozie, tiredfeet and lilmiss.
Thanks also for the wedding dress praise, everyone! I loved it (the day and the dress!). Want to wear it again and again, but you can't really, can you! Don't know what to do with it - it's just hanging on the bedroom door, doing nothing. Seems like such a waste!

floozie, how do I remind you of your friend then?! Which Safari Park?

Roo, I agree with lilmiss - go book yourself another appointment. Hearing the heartbeat is such a treat. You should not miss out.

Meansbeans, mmm, curry! I think I could quite happily eat curry every day! Maybe alternate with pizza!

AbFabT · 11/05/2010 10:20

Hermya, xposts, sorry. Thank you too! My husband is the cheekiest rascal I know. I think I will have my hands full when the little one arrives - DH will be teaching him/her all his cheeky moves, and I just know I'm in trouble! I am blissfully happy. Waited a long time for the right man to come along (met him when I was 34), but he is worth the wait.

LOL at your YouTube dream! Oh dear! I dreamt I had one breast WAY bigger than the other. What's that all about???

Hope your appointment goes well, Nymph.

Hermya321 · 11/05/2010 10:25

Nymph Hope your appointment goes well and that they get you sorted out.

Meansbeans I lllooooovvveeeee curry, in fact some of my workmates were eating curry the other night and I just sat there and drooled. It smelled so good. I might need to have curry for tea today.

Abfab Hahahaha I know the feeling. My DH has me in stitches just walking round the supermarkets. I'm surprised the staff didn't ring the men in white coats.

We are very blessed, Hermya!

Elsa123 · 11/05/2010 11:03

I dreamt the other day that I was trying to express milk and it worked in the end, but the milk was totally clear. Very lucid. all my dreams are getting very lucid at the moment!

DillyDora · 11/05/2010 11:18

bloomingbex · 11/05/2010 11:37

Hi everyone

Hope you are all well.

I haven't posted for a looong time but have been lurking in the background keeping up with your progress.

All is well with me and bump. We have the 20 week scan next week which I can't wait for!

Abfab I am so jealous of your little bump! I am 19+2 today and mine is huge, I feel like a whale!! Strangely I'm not putting on any weight though which I can't get my head around

Does anyone else think Abfab's husband has a look of Howard from Take That about him??

DillyDora · 11/05/2010 11:43

Hi Bloomingbex I have the same thing as you - I think I might have lost quite a bit in the first 3 months and i know that a lot of my 'bump' is air as I've got awful indigestion.... Odd innit?

BTW does anyone know if Gaviscon would work for the burping? I haven't been taking it but the burping is awful!

bloomingbex · 11/05/2010 11:55

Hi Dilly None of this pregnancy lark makes much sense to me I put on 5lbs in the first 8 weeks or so and then nothing since. I was eating anything in sight back then mind you so the early weight gain was no surprise! Maybe I am losing that extra weight now and gaining baby weight at the same time?? I don't know....I'm just going with the flow

Not sure if Gaviscon would work for burping but I have the same issue. I was sat on the couch with DP last night and I noticed he was frowning at me. I asked him what the funny look was for and he said "That was disgusting". I had no idea what he was talking about. Apparently I'd just burped really loudly.....I didn't even realise I'd done it I'm so used to it now!

sam12 · 11/05/2010 12:11

Hi, I have just caught up on what I have missed since my internet got packed away on Friday. You lot do talk a lot it has taken me ages
We have finally moved out- just got to unpack at the in-laws and renovate the house- but am too exhausted to think about any of that just trying to make it through work.

AbFabT · 11/05/2010 12:55

LOL, blooming. Well, I think I would quite like a bigger bump like yours! I barely feel pregnant.
No idea how much I weigh or did weigh before - we don't have scales.

Howard, hm, I guess a bit. DH quite likes the idea of looking like Gerard Butler playing King Leonidas in the film 300
(www.beezersbungalow.com/assets/images/300_canvas_leonidas1.jpg) !!! Bless him!
DH doesn't have the beard at the moment though. He is currently sporting a whacky moustache! I'll go add a photo to my profile!

RooBear · 11/05/2010 12:56

I like Isabel Corinna dilly I was just thinking about my midwifes appt, maybe its because I come from quite a rural area and the midwife shares her office with the chriopodist! so maybe doesn't have the equipment?? no idea how much I weigh as I don't own a pair of scales! just seem to have put weight on the bump and boobs though!

AbFabT · 11/05/2010 13:13

Welcome back, sam.

Roo, I went to a clinic that is more like a drop-in centre of some sort, and the m/w carries the heart-beat thing in a bag - she had it in her car and had to go get it, as apparently she doesn't normally do ante-natal at this clinic (not sure why I was sent there then!) - it's not very big at all, so I think your m/w just forgot or was rushed.

bloomingbex · 11/05/2010 13:19

There is a resemblance to King Leonidas, we must give him that

Loving the moustache! Your DH would make a very good spy. He looks like a different man with the short hair and no beard. Master of disguises
