AbFabT · 10/05/2010 13:47

Show off, Roo! (Or were you just too wasted during the seventies?!)

Hermya321 · 10/05/2010 13:56

Roo Come on, the 80's had some fabulous music, the 90's had the Spice Girls (shudder).

RooBear · 10/05/2010 15:47

I was just showing off hermya I actually love all music prior to my era esp 50's and 70's x I wish I grew up in the 50's AbFab so sadly not, only 26 years old

Hermya321 · 10/05/2010 15:57

Nah I know Roo I think I've been watching too much Ashes to Ashes and Glee so I've been surrounded by non 90's music for quite a while. I've only got a year on you myself at 27.

I love ashes to ashes, can't wait to find out what happens at the finale!

DillyDora · 10/05/2010 16:26

OK...so this time I cried! Just got back from 16 week appt and heard Beany's heartbeat which just did me in! Brilliant, brilliant to hear it. Also - remember my horrid rash and I got a bit worried about it harming the baby? Well, they've screened me for all the virusy things that could harm the baby (CMV, Rubella etc etc) just to put my mind at rest and if it's none of those then it was just a rash and that's the end of that. Nice huh? I think the SHO (I was seeing the drs this time) just wanted to put my mind at rest so I wouldn't fret so checked with the consultant and they decided to do the screen. Otherwise all really well, moved my due date a bit due to some calculations I can't understand so I'm 16+6 not 4 and the breathlessness is just one of those things so there you are. Back to midwives from now on, hurrah!
Hurraaaaaay!

I love Ashes to Ashes too....

How about 'Our Friends Electric'? Can't really dance to it tho....

RooBear · 10/05/2010 16:29

oh I'm so dilly i had my 16 wk midwife appointment this afternoon, hearing the heartbeat was never even mentioned, just had my blood pressure taken then next appointment in july. not happy

DillyDora · 10/05/2010 16:31

Oh poopers (!) Roo that's rubbish. I'm really sorry.

DillyDora · 10/05/2010 17:02

Brilliant new method of choosing baby names: from the senders of spam emails!

Current favourites are:

Sherrie Dionne
Betsy Luise
Rebekah ...something...forgotten...

They were trying to sell me 'replica' watches I believe!

Nymphadora · 10/05/2010 18:41

I have my appt tomorrow, new consultant etc then blood tests.

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 10/05/2010 19:03

Oooo paaaarrrrrrtttttay

loving dancing queen! Can we have billy jean next so I can bust some moves?!

Congrats on all the anniversaries/mw appts/unable to find clothes that fit/nymph's mystery fainting tricks! I've struggled to keep up as been away for the weekend and so was hectic before- I don't think I even answered my own questions!!

  1. Big cock liitle cock is actually big cook little cook, and they are possibly 2 of the most annoying men on the planet!!

2.still the wind!and the short temper.

3.4 weddings, but the last one sounds too far, no kids allowed and too close considering ds was early. Gutted.

  1. I think clegg would win the who's dad is richer, cameron would win drinking games (ex-bullingham club) and brown would win arm wrestling given all that clinging to leadership he's done.

5.holidays under negotiation at moment, but given that I've not won the lottery/found the money tree it looks like camping!!

floozietoozie · 10/05/2010 21:28

Ooh hello party girls. Happy anniversary abfab and vmum for yesterday, dilly aw with the baby hb and i've forgotten everything else.

Ds did go to sleep last night and I got 8 hours sleep minus toilet break so felt much better today, apart from feeling quite sick, so dilly you're not alone. I'm also expanding rapidly, it's really odd. I dug out a mat skirt the other day which is nice and also comfy.

Can I have Mr Brightside on the jukebox please??

I have a wedding in sept which I won't make if the baby arrives when ds did, but if not...I was looking at some Isabella Oliver stuff online. Ooh it is nice, but I won't be forking out £109 for a dress I'll wear once however nice! Unless I decide to start playing the lottery and win, of course.

Hermya321 · 10/05/2010 21:48

Hey Floozie have you tried asos.com, they seem to have some nice dresses.

I've just been lying on the sofa when I swear I just felt like someone was flicking me from inside my tummy. Normally I just feel the baby wriggling, I think I'm feeling kicks now. Gosh how cool is that!!
