one more thing...mmmmmmm ginger ale. YUM

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 29/10/2009 22:06

WWSW glad you got your comfy bra
Yes, seem to have smiley overload symptom too

Liking the earliest first list, nice and easy to glance down!

I have been wondering about the lifting too, trying not to lift DD as much but am having to at times. Am thinking many people have had to do it so must be fine?

Off to bed now and praying for no weird dreams tonight.

MumfieMagic · 29/10/2009 22:17

Sleep well everyone!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 29/10/2009 22:24

yep it's definitely preggo bedtime

here's hoping for no strange dreams, no sleepwalking (I did that last night, eek) and only one wee-break.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who needs a wee-break in the middle of the night?! My friend has made me paranoid now since I had a strong bfp 6 days before period (and a blood test 8 days before which showed I was pregnant) saying I might be having twins aaaaaaaaaarghhhhh!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 29/10/2009 22:25

that is, my friend is saying I might be having twins, not the tests. God, no brain!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 30/10/2009 08:09

Oh yes the thrice nightly wee wake up, last night was only once but I could not get back to sleep afterwards. Wish I could stop things whirling around my head at 3am.

Ohhh twins!! are there twins in your family? could explain the norkage need for bigger bras? A strong BFP 6 days before period too! wow that is amazing! oohhh maybe it is twins?!? did you just feel pregnant to test so early?

I am trying to decide what to do today, feeling very lethargic but hoping some fresh air will energise me.

Hope everyone has a good day

WickedWitchSouthWest · 30/10/2009 09:09

yay only one wee break here too

There's no twins in the family so it would be a freak accident! I did the test early coz I'd had the 21 day progesterone test on cd24, cd26 my gp called me to tell me I was definitely ovulating since I was pregnant and could I do an hpt to confirm it! Bonkers.

I need to bobble up to the local shops this morning and then dd has a swimming lesson this afternoon, right when I want to be having a nap argh. No motivation to do anything either, hence why we're both sat here in our pyjamas still.... And my hair looks like it wants washing AGAIN and I can't be bothered. Hope I've got some dry shampoo somewhere!!

Oh flower another tip: YOGA. I've got a prenatal yoga dvd for all 3 trimesters and I love it. Did it right up to when dd was born and it was brilliant. I dug it out of the pile last night to start doing it this weekend

Hope everyone has a good day!

July 4th - Gibbon. 36 #2
July 5th - Celery, 34 #4
July 6th - WickedWitch, 29 #2

Took me ages to find # on the keyboard!

No symptoms except weeing a lot here, although i am already eating crystalised ginger whilst lying in bed every morning to ward of nausea. Do not want repeat of Monday when i really couldn't function.

Mouseybrown · 30/10/2009 09:18

Oh has anyone else got an amazing sesnse of smell at the moment? That was my first warning that something was up. Apparently being able to smell beer whilst driving past a pub with the windows up isn't normal.

Hope everyone has a good day, and a well earned weekend!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 30/10/2009 09:24

Lol mousey yes...it's not great though coz when I get a strong waft of something it's invariably cat food or drains and makes me heave a little.

I'm enjoying some ginger ale of an evening, since I seem to be feeling sick in the evenings instead of mornings this time round. How odd!

Oh forgot to add to my earlier post, my normal cycle is 31 days, so that's why I was a little freaked out to know that blood taken on CD24 showed pregnancy!

FlowerBee · 30/10/2009 09:28

Morning lovely ladies!! Hope noone has dreamt about Peter Andre! (Gibbon you are never going to live it down!)

Am going to attempt to join Aquanatal weds next week and will start investigating Yoga (thanks for the tips WickedWitch oooh and the possibility of twins is very exciting!!)

Still don't feel preggers except for the boobs! Almost wish i had some cravings although latest fruit sounds just toooo virtuous!

Mumfie hope all goes well with DH. Can't be as bad as my DH reaction (though he is slowly coming round) - he's winding himself up something chronic and has reduced me to tears the last 4 days since i've had my BFP (not in a good way either!) I think he just doen't want to grow up and is much to used to me doting on him and babying him! Well that will all change soon! Har har!

I'm liking the idea of a romantic dinner to break the news. I will employ that tactic next time!!!

Wishing my name was something more edgy now!!....at the time was looking out the kitchen window at a very slow bee on my winter jasmine. Just as well i didn't clock the Fairy Liquid bottle first!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 30/10/2009 09:28

Yes mousey my sense of smell very strong at the moment, so weird isn't it, especially when it's a horrid smell

How weird I was looking for my dry shampoo earlier, thankfully I found it

I bet you nearly fainted when you got that call from the doc!! what a wonderful call to get

FlowerBee · 30/10/2009 09:32

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 30/10/2009 09:42

wow x post to the second flower!

Your name is lovely, I sometimes change mine for a while but always end up coming back to gibbon.

Sorry to hear your DH is still in shock. I remember being in very hormonal tears with DH when I was pregnant with DD, our life had been cars, holidays and parties for so many years. We both wanted to start a family but it happening so quick was a real shock to DH. He works long hours at times and I really felt at the time he was throwing himself into his job and not accepting the massive change that was to happen in our life.

I worried so much but I can honestly say when DD was born, and he held her, my worries melted away. Over the first few weeks he fell in love with her more and more and now, well let's just say (I may be a tad biased ) no daddy loves his little girl more

FlowerBee · 30/10/2009 09:55

That's really good to hear Gibbon. Thanks for that.

I know deep down that as soon as he sees his baby, he will melt. It's just until then.....!!! The irony is that it is usually me who has the pessimistic outlook and over-thinks things. He generally is really positive and practical. At the moment it seems our personalities have switched!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 30/10/2009 10:06

I know, it's hard, that's why this thread is fantastic, we can all come and say however we feel and it will be ok

WickedWitchSouthWest · 30/10/2009 10:18

yes I did! I was almost hyperventilating! I couldn't tell dh yet since he was at work and I did that to him with dd and he was so freaked out he didn't get anything done all day so I had to wait for him to get home, so instead I phoned my best friend and screeched at her

found dry shampoo - hair rescued for today!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 30/10/2009 10:20

flower your dh will be fine, that first scan he will just dissolve. I know this, coz it happened with my dd. He was just in absolute awe of this little wriggling thing on the screen and we've never looked back

FlowerBee · 30/10/2009 10:32

I love dry shampoo!

Has anyone seen their gp yet? And when is everyone thinking of having the swine flu vacc? Or not?

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 30/10/2009 10:57

I will make an appointment in the next couple of weeks, the booking in appointment will make it feel real

I'm not comfortable with having the swine flu vac (or any vaccine if I'm honest) whilst pregnant, so I won't be having it.

I feel so bloody lazy today, can someone please give me a virtual kick up the arse.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 30/10/2009 12:14

flower I'm seeing the mw on Thursday morning for booking in can't wait!!

Not having the vaccine either! Would rather not put anything in that's not wholly necessary. I'm taking pregnacare and minadex tonic and just hoping to avoid anything really nasty. The preganncy cold will turn up at some point tho I expect...

gibbon I've got lower back ache today, thats my excuse for being lazy! I've got 2 hours to park my bum now before taking dd swimming Housework can wait!

ApuskiDusky · 30/10/2009 13:03

Hi all, I'm working from home today and am taking the opportunity for a lie-down. I feel all-round a little bit rubbish really, like a constant low grade hangover, only with tummy aches as well!

Glad the bra situation is resolved WWSW (for now ).

And

Has anyone else got a bit of a pot belly appearing? I know I don't have the best muscle tone, but OMG when I was lying on my side it just looked awful!

Re gp, I'll ring next week and no doubt be told to wait another 3 weeks before an antenatal appointment where they do the booking in. I'm opting to miss out the early appointment with the gp when they say congratulations, here's what not to eat, now off you go!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 30/10/2009 13:48

My tummy does feel bloated (looks it too) Low grade hang over describes it perfectly, I had a lie down today too and feel better for it

MrsDmamee · 30/10/2009 15:24

WickedWitchSouthWest · 30/10/2009 17:54
