Hello everyone!
Today I have mainly been having constant tummy cramps, very tired, and the fruit thing is beginning to happen - craving strawberries. I am really relieved its something normalish - was chatting to a girl today who is eating sponge. apparently she has to nibble it in a specific order. she has eaten 2 already!!!

Not booking in yet - I'm really nervous as my lines were faint and I've had mc before, so just waiting for now!

I may be a june baby though - ds was 2.5weeks early, and that was a first baby!! He was also "hard and fast" so a roadside baby 3 weeks early is expected, and we have twins both sides of the family so arrrrrrrrrgh

lying down as another knackering day at work! dh feeding ds, recommending sex to make the cramps go away

GhoulsAreLoud · 30/10/2009 18:13

Oooh, hello to all the newbies!

WickedWitch can you add me to the stats please?

Think my due date is actually 5th July, am 31 and this is number 2.

Thanks!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 30/10/2009 18:20

Hi ghouls! glad you've joined us

latest my dd was fast too, if it had been Monday instead of Sunday we would have been in trouble! I'm just going to camp out in the hospital waiting room from 39wks on

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 30/10/2009 18:55

Hello GAL and congrats MrsD!

Giggling here at sex to relieve the cramps

Have them here too, more of a stitch very low on right side, had exactly the same with DD so trying not to worry. My last pregnancy all I wanted was fruit, am hoping this one is the same, knowing my luck and judging by last few days will be chocolate and cake this time.

Keeping my fingers crossed re sickness, was bloody awful with DD but so far so good

God I want a mars bar.

latestincarnation · 30/10/2009 19:06

Right, baby in bed, curry ordered, dog walked, and I'm settled in on the sofa and not moving

I have got a bit of a belly, but that could well be the eating I'm doing

the minute dh said the sex and cramps comment he said "don't you dare put that on mumsnet" he won't live that down - apparently it came out wrong?

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 30/10/2009 19:43
Grin
ApuskiDusky · 30/10/2009 20:22

Grr, I've just posted a thread in the pregnancy topic - DH gave me a spa day voucher for my birthday, but it looks like none of the treatments are appropriate for first trimester and it expires at the end of the year. I really don't want to go just to have a pedicure!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 30/10/2009 20:42

Oh no! can they not change the treatments to pregnancy friendly ones for you?

ApuskiDusky · 30/10/2009 20:49

Thanks for posting Gibbon! They have pregnancy friendly ones but only suitable after 12 weeks - it looks like the only treatments that are OK before 12 weeks are manicures and pedicures.

Maybe they'll extend the voucher if I explain, I can but try....

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 30/10/2009 20:52

Oh I am sure they will, explain and start to sob in hormonal manner if they seem reluctant

I am sure they won't mind extending by a few weeks

ApuskiDusky · 30/10/2009 21:11

Cheers, Gibbon. Just had to disappear to eat, dh wouldn't let me check the laptop at the same time! I hate it when that happens, when you post a thread and then have to disappear, I feel rude not to watch all the replies coming in and reply immediately!

I have to say the idea of a proper spa treat in January sounds fab...

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 30/10/2009 22:09

It sure does

I am off to bed now - feels like 2am and it's only 10pm, been fighting the tiredness for last hour, goodness knows why?

WickedWitchSouthWest · 31/10/2009 10:34

Morning ladies!

Well I did manage to go out with some friends last night, and was even out til 11pm! Paying for it today tho

I'm so dizzy and light headed this morning, I'm a bit worried about doing too much today. I guess this is my body telling me to slow down a bit. Also I'm really cold so I think my bl;ood pressure must be dropping - I had this with my dd too.

apuski hope you can get your voucher extended. I'm off to Center Parcs in a few weeks and won't be able to do anything in the spa or go down any water slides. Grr. Going to take some books and park my bum for the whole week I think

MumfieMagic · 31/10/2009 11:14

DH nearly fell off his chair when I told him last night? He asked 'really?' 8 times in a row! He is now out on a bracing walk to get his head round it, both of us panicking till we get past m/c Dday of last time, 2 weeks today. Dizzyness and insomnia have kicked in, joy!

ApuskiDusky · 31/10/2009 11:57

Mumfie, really glad you got to tell him finally! Let's hope the next few weeks go past a little quicker than this week - it's amazing how slowly it feels like time is going!

WWSW, I'm the same, very cold, I have double the layers of dh and ds, even though it's not that cold yet.

DH has taken ds off to get a hair cut so I can have some time to myself - on the condition that I don't go mental at DH if he lets the hairdresser cut it too short!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 31/10/2009 13:17

yay mumfie! bless him going off for a bracing walk .

Time is crawling isn't it? It feels liks I've wished away the last 7 months while ttc and now everything is slowing down (prob a good thing seeing as I haven't done any
xmas shopping yet, haven't even made my cake!

Brrr...going to have a nice hot lunch!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 31/10/2009 15:24

Good for you WWSW having a night out! I have one in a couple of weeks (been arranged a while) and I am not telling my friends that I'm meeting. One of them as been TTC for a long time and is finding pregnancy news hard at the moment so I am praying I don't feel mega sick or tired as the drive to meet them is a longish one too. I'm rambling now aren't I? Sorry, I seem to be doing it loads in RL too last week or so

Have been thinking of you mumfie! I did smile at the walk too, I can understand why it's such a time for holding your breath and wishing the time to speed along, am doing the same here for you

Feeling the cold too. DH is sweating and I am shivering today.

Let us know how the hair is Apuski!

ApuskiDusky · 01/11/2009 11:26

Ugh! I have just spent the last twenty minutes crawling round the loft looking for some paperwork, amidst a load of wasps, as we have a nest up there. I felt like I was on 'I'm a celebrity..', and then having to return to camp with no stars - couldn't find the paperwork I needed.

Foolishly when we discovered the nest, we thought 'ah well, it's autumn now, the cold weather will kill them off' - 4 weeks later, we are doing a daily cull of those that have made it into the house. Tomorrow I will call in the professionals!

Apart from that.... hello, how are you all?

ApuskiDusky · 01/11/2009 11:28

Oh, and ds' haircut yesterday was ...... acceptable

Control freak? Me?

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 01/11/2009 12:23

rofl I'm a celeb stylee loft run sorry you didn't find the paper work needed, such a pain when that happens. I hate it when I cannot find something I need.

Bloody miserable weather here today but all tucked up and cosy and have my folks coming for dinner I am still feeling far too lazy and lethargic, maybe start moving more and eating less me thinks

Have a good day all

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 01/11/2009 12:24

smiley overload again

If I add a ticker and start calling you all hon please feel free to have a quiet word.

latestincarnation · 01/11/2009 13:42

Sorry I've been absent for a few days - my ds is not very well. he had us up all friday night vomiting and still isn't right. plus there was the MN black out this morning!!

Tired and grumpy, a bit bloated. I'm thinking about booking - has anyone called their GP yet to arrange their appointment?

Gibbon, we'll have to keep an eye on you and the ticker threat

MumfieMagic · 01/11/2009 13:55

I've booked to see my GP on 11th, first date that my diary will allow. Quite concerned that it's a while away and, apparently, all they do is say well done and then book you in for your MW appointment. So, i'm not sure how long afterwards that normally takes. At this rate, i'll have my booking visit with the MW at week 12!
