GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 28/10/2009 19:23

ApuskiDusky · 28/10/2009 19:49

WickedWitchSouthWest · 28/10/2009 21:23

lol at the typos! why don't our hands work properly all of a sudden?!

congrats flowerbee!

It's no good, my 34C bra (the biggest I have) is now creaking under the pressure... am going to the shops tomorrow for a non wired one, but god knows what size I should get! At this rate I'll be giving Jordan a run for her money by Christmas!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 29/10/2009 07:45

Good luck with the bra hunt today WWSW, get yourself measured for a really good fit, I need to get some non wired bras soon.

Had more weird dreams last night but slept better. Have a good day all

WickedWitchSouthWest · 29/10/2009 08:39

Thank you Taking dd to jump n jiggle this morning so hoping she'll want to sit in the buggy while I get sorted (fat chance I think!).

The dreams are getting very odd!

Have a good day too

WickedWitchSouthWest · 29/10/2009 08:43

crikey, I'm on smiley overload today...

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 29/10/2009 09:32

smiley overload

I am resting after deciding to scrub my kitchen floor on my hands and knees..aching a bit now and telling myself off.
What possessed me to start that job first thing this morning I don't know.

Celery · 29/10/2009 10:08

Hi everyone, just popping my head in. I'm due end of June, but this is baby no. 4 and the other 3 were all exactly 7 days late, so I'm expecting to go into July.

The 24 hour nausea has kicked in today, and I'd forgotton how horrendous it feels.

FlowerBee · 29/10/2009 10:42

Sorry to hear you're feeling nauseous Celery! Welcome to our July thread. So far no nausea for me but i'm pretty sure when it kicks in i'll have my head in the toilet non-stop. I've always been travel sick so it'll be a miracle if i'm spared!

And Gibbon...scrubbing floors? Isn't the nesting instinct supposed to start the week before you're due???? I'm impressed!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 29/10/2009 10:59

Hello Celery, nice to see you

Flower, I thought that very same thing this morning. The floor is slate and a bugger to clean, God knows why I felt the urgent need to do it this morning. Now feeling paranoid as my tummy is aching but it has been since just before I got my BFP on and off so I am trying not to stress.

How are you feeling today?

FlowerBee · 29/10/2009 13:09

I feel good. I really don't feel much different to normal apart from my boobs. It's really weird as don't "feel" pregnant yet, very surreal. I always thought i'd feel very different to normal!

Don't worry about the ache, apparently some cramping is normal...according to my Vicki Iovine book. It's quite brilliant that book.

Also is my first. Is this everyones' first or have you all done this before? Any tips?

MumfieMagic · 29/10/2009 14:14

CHRIST my boobs! SO sore today! Everyone please stop scrubbing floors and thinking about Peter Andre (although I quite like the idea of him doing some real work and scrubbing my floors, maybe not the blue pants though). Let's all calm down and continue with constantly thinking about food, far safer, no aching body parts or potentially Cypriot/Australian babies . DH back tomorrow night, thinks he's just going to have a relaxed, no stress meal a deux when he gets home . Keep your eyes peeled, his reaction might make the national news!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 29/10/2009 16:13

Flower - this is my second but I felt very much like you with DD. Did not seem real for a long time. I had morning sickness with DD till nearly 6 months but my pal felt no different at all with her pregnancy. Not one bit, every pregnancy is different so don't worry about not feeling pregnant yet, that will come, trust me My top tip is rest as much as you can. I didn't with DD and so wished I had.

Mumfie your post made me lol I am not even giving details on my weird dreams anymore, I fear you would all think me quite mad and a little disturbing. I blame the hormones personally.

Have not had the super sore boobs yet just aching at the moment. Tummy not so sore now have stuffed my face all day and taken it a bit easier

latestincarnation · 29/10/2009 19:18

This is my second-its not helping though, I am still on the hormone rollercoaster!

I have just finished an 11 hour day (with 30min commute) with an achey tummy all day - not good really hoping its implanation and early stretching etc and nothing more

sticky sticky sticky sticky sticky sticky!!!

today is almost worthy of an illicit glass of wine, but I will resist and go for chocolate instead! Although the thought of chocolate is making me gag, so maybe the fruit cravings are back this pregnancy?!! I emptied my local co-op of grapefruit in my last pregnancy!!!

MumfieMagic · 29/10/2009 19:45

My first too Flower (unplanned pg in July, m/c in August) so also massively nervous but listening to Gibbon, let's try and enjoy what is truly pretty amazing and whatever happens, happens. Oh God, sound like Oprah!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 29/10/2009 20:02

Oh LI what a long day! you must be shattered! my tummy has been aching too and telling myself the same as you, 'tis normal stretching and nothing we should worry about I'm sure

Mumfie bet you can't wait for DH to get home tomorrow and loving you sounding like Oprah btw

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 29/10/2009 20:03

OK my pregnancy seems to have caused me to get a tad emoticon happy.

latestincarnation · 29/10/2009 20:09

I was a tad embarrassed by all the !!! on my post - and I had deleted a load too - must be in the "manically happy" up point today!
It was a long day, and not telling anyone makes me feel like a grouch
Its scary these first few days/weeks - I only settle in after 12 weeks, so a way to go yet!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 29/10/2009 20:16

I'm the same, my pal popped over today and have told her, I was explaining that with DD I was nervous but in such a surreal place I didn't stress as much as I am this time. The what if's are driving me crazy tbh. Just want that 12 week scan then I will feel so much better.

Celery · 29/10/2009 20:26

Shall we start a name/due date list?

My due date based on my LMP is 28th June, but all three of mine have been 7 days late, so that's what I'm basing it on, on this thread.

Copy and paste the list and add your details to it.

July 5th - Celery, 34 #4

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 29/10/2009 20:30

July 5th - Celery, 34 #4
July 4th - Gibbon. 36 #2

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 29/10/2009 20:31

Based mine on LMP too

ApuskiDusky · 29/10/2009 21:06

Evening all!

Update of the stats - hang on, I have to put my age?!

July 5th - Celery, 34 #4
July 4th - Gibbon. 36 #2
July 3rd - Apuski, 38 #2

WickedWitchSouthWest · 29/10/2009 21:24

hi celery a fourth! wow congratulations

flower this is my second. My dd now 3.5 was a bit of a surprise but I felt ill instantly so it was very real! I feel different this time The sickness comes in waves but then I'm not constantly panicking about how fast it's happened and how i'm going to cope!

Tips? Bio Oil. Twice a day! and if you have a belly piercing, you DON'T need to remove it, just get a special bendy bar

latest ergh, fruit!! have a real aversion to anything raw, like I did with dd, just want crisps! I'm off chocolate too.

gibbon see, now YOU'RE having a smiley overload!

mumfie you'll have to keep us posted of you dh's reaction!

Oo yay stats! I have ridiculous stats joy. It's the geography geek in me can we change it round so the earliest due dates are at the top?

July 3rd - Apuski, 38 #2
July 4th - Gibbon. 36 #2
July 5th - Celery, 34 #4
July 6th - WickedWitch, 29 #2

Haha I'm going to enjoy being the baby of the group for all of 5 seconds til some whippersnapper turns up!

Well I've got a lovely new non wired bra and it is v comfy

Oh I wanted to ask, lifting small children... what do we think? dd is 15kgs and I'm wondering if she counts as heavy lifting? I'm really missing cycling her to school but I have to lift her onto the bike and I don't want to be doing that 4 times a day and risking mini. Help?!
