HOP ON THE JULY BUS!!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 21/10/2009 20:38

am tentatively sticking my head round the door! Got a bfp today at only 8dpo...eek. If mini sticks, then I'd be due 6 July

GhoulsAreLoud · 22/10/2009 13:07

Hi everyone, can I join too?

Got a BFP today as well at 10DPO, due date around 7th July according to doc.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 22/10/2009 18:39

hi ghouls! I'm shattered and going to have to start making time for a nap in the day I think How are you feeling?

GhoulsAreLoud · 22/10/2009 19:24

I feel fine so far WWSW but I know it won't be long til I start feeling ill.

Glad I'll be out of the first trimester by xmas this time as last time I was right in the middle of it and very tired and sick over xmas.

Have you got other DC?

WickedWitchSouthWest · 22/10/2009 23:12

Oo lucky you I'm very tired and getting strong waves of nausea on and off through the day. Also eating lots of salty things, just scoffed a corned beef sandwich

I have a 3 yo dd who goes to pre school every morning and needs rest time (not a nap sadly) after lunch so that's how I'm going to work it I think.

It's going to be a lovely pre christmas announcement to make

Do you have other dc too?

GhoulsAreLoud · 23/10/2009 09:43

I am glad that I can tell everyone before xmas this year WWSW, was a nightmare with DD pretending to drink all over xmas!

DD is 14mo and this one will be our second and last (all going well)

WickedWitchSouthWest · 23/10/2009 11:12

lol sorry I had a no brain moment last night

I'm may well have to let on a bit early to some people as it's dh's very boozy xmas do at the beginning of december...eek!

Talking about pretending to drink - I've got a night out tmrw night with antenatal friends but I'm useless at lying. I've told one of them that I've got a good chance of being pg this month so I won't drink just in case. Not sure if anyone wil believe me!

Woofie · 23/10/2009 14:03

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 24/10/2009 13:58

So so so thrilled!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 24/10/2009 14:34

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 24/10/2009 14:43

Congrats to you too!! Yes giddy is the perfect word

GhoulsAreLoud · 24/10/2009 15:43

Congrats Gibbon!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 24/10/2009 16:24

Congrats to you too GAL

ApuskiDusky · 25/10/2009 09:43

Hello, I got a BFP this morning!

It feels a bit surreal at the moment, we've been trying for 8 months, and I'd just bought the 'taking charge of your fertililty' book ready to start temping next month.

I am feeling shattered at the moment, but probably has more to do with being up ridiculously early with my ds who was no concept of the clocks changing!

Congratulations to all!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 25/10/2009 10:41

congrats Apuski!

I got pg on lucky cycle 7 just after the gp had done the 21 day progesterone test! She called me to say it was showing I was pg at 8dpo and I was in complete shock. Period isn't due until Tuesday but I'm thinking of telling my parents today while everyone is home for the weekend, rather than waiting til Tuesday. They know we've been trying for a while and I've known for nearly a week now and not sure how much longer I can keep it in!

LargeGlassofRed · 25/10/2009 10:46

Hello all, I was on July09 thread dt's are now 4 months old congratulations to you all!

ApuskiDusky · 25/10/2009 10:49

I know what you mean, I've just tried to call my mum but she's not there. We won't tell anyone else for a while yet. At least we can talk about it on here!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 25/10/2009 11:31

Congrats Apuski! (what lovely memories your name brings back )

I have another test sitting here waiting to do it. Due on today and the BFP was a tad faint yesterday so want to double check today.

I feel all nervous...with DD I only did 2 tests and was so sure but I feel a bit loony with regard to this one and want to do one everyday for the next 36 weeks

ApuskiDusky · 25/10/2009 12:03

Thanks Gibbon. Hope the next test is stronger. Mine was quite a light line this morning but AF was only due today - I didn't test with ds until I was a week late so can't really compare. I look back and am amazed at how relaxed I was last time!

GibbonWithAnAppleBobbingBibOn · 25/10/2009 12:34

Did a digital and thank God said pregnant

So now I am going to step away from the tests and try to relax.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 25/10/2009 12:39

Hellooo

I've just done another test - feeling exactly the same as you both. With my dd I only tested twice and didn't give it another thought but I guess we know too much now I'm thinking of getting a doppler this time. Will prob buy one on ebay then sell it on when we're done. I think I'm going to be paranoid every day until this baby appears!

Anyway, the test just now came up instantly with a line as dark as the control so I feel much happier. Have told dh's parents but can't get hold of mine aaargh! Have constant nausea and dizziness today which is all good signs

Hope your test comes up like mine gibbon!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 25/10/2009 12:39

cross post! well done Gibbon. Now leave them alone! (says she with one cheapie test left....!)

ApuskiDusky · 25/10/2009 13:18

I was wondering about a doppler, I had a false alarm ectopic scare last time, but meant that I got a 6 week and 8 week scan, which was very reassuring. I can't imagine getting through to 12 weeks without confirmation of a heart beat!
