Congratulations Charley!!

Very now, I've been washing baby clothes this morning and am getting impatient to have a little someone to put them in.

Sounds like it all went really well. Have a good sleep and let us know how you're doing later.

Many Congratulations Charleymouse! Fantastic news and gives us all hope that the end is in sight Your homebirth sounds just perfect and how I'm hoping mine will go.

Oooo feeling all gooey inside thinking of Charleymouse sitting somewhere gazing at her tiny newborn.

Mybox · 22/11/2009 13:34

Charleymouse - Many congratulations and well done xxx Best wishes to you and family

GoldenSnitch · 22/11/2009 13:47

We're going to run out of space on this thread soon - we need an "Arrivals" thread - and a new title...

something about us delivering the Christmas presents, not Santa...?

AmazingBouncingFerret · 22/11/2009 14:36

Congratulations Charley. Im so pleased for you. Felt myself getting all tearful when reading out your post to DH.

ViktoriaMac · 22/11/2009 15:18

Hurrah! Congratulations to the Mouse family!!!

Moosy · 22/11/2009 17:11

Congratulations Charley, have you decided on a name yet?

How are you Claire and Annie, are you still there?

Claire236 · 22/11/2009 17:36

Congratulations Charley, that's fantastic news. I got a bit tearful too telling dh your news.

I'm still here Moosy & still having contractions. Think I'll be the last to deliver at this rate. Feeling more positive today though. Been crying in a pathetic self pitying I can't do this much longer type fashion rather a lot the last few days.

FedUpWithRainyDevon · 22/11/2009 19:40

Aw that was lovely to hear Charley, congratulations - and you sound so calm which is really reassuring to the rest of us! xxxxxxxxxxx

madmissy · 22/11/2009 20:01

claire hang in there i was like this for ages with dd2 and was soo depressing how is your midwife? is she helpful/understanding or waste of space?

charleymouse · 22/11/2009 20:50

Had a disaster am group b positive and dd2 admitted to hospital for 48 hours iv antibiotics. Gutted. Better safe than sorry though. Due to delivery over 24 hours after waters gone. By 15 mins. Looking forward to 2 days in hospital NOT. red hot and no Internet using dhs phone.

madmissy · 22/11/2009 20:56

oh no
shes here safe though thats what counts

GoldenSnitch · 22/11/2009 20:57

I'm sure she'll be fine Charley. Better to have the AB's now and clear up any infections as soon as possible.

Take care - best wishes for you both

OP posts:
sparklycheerymummy · 22/11/2009 21:20

She will be fine CHarley.... my dd had to have same. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! feel really emotional .... its started ladies!!!!

anniebigpants · 22/11/2009 21:47

Well done charley-fantastic birth, you did great! DD will be fine with IV abs, as you say, better to be safe than sorry. Enjoy your lovely new DD.

Well, im still here, no bloody baby, everything was going great, had about 4 contractions which got to 10 mins apart, was thinking, this is it, starting to pick up momentum, when they started tailing off. Went to bed at 9pm as was shattered, and nothing at all bar feeling uncomfortable all night. Had plenty BH,s today but thats it, im so pissed off cos thought it was definately it last night.
Claire-fancy going off to a corner and drowning our sorrows with a bottle of Gin somewhere???

Hope everyone else is well.

sparklycheerymummy · 22/11/2009 22:02

Can i join you...... I am having BHs every few minutes and pelvic pain but nowt else!!! HAve just eaten 6 vienese whirls too!!!!

anniebigpants · 22/11/2009 22:12

Yes course you can sparkly, if the 3 of us get sloshed on gin, will mean we are sooo relaxed and things are bound to start happening then.

sparklycheerymummy · 22/11/2009 22:13

Considering sex...... thats hoe desperate I am. Have asked him to attend to my lady garden as i tried and made a hash of it...... very patchy to say the least!!!

anniebigpants · 22/11/2009 22:16

Haha, i just went a bit mad with the immac earlier today, ive had a bit of a look with the mirror and doesnt look TOO bad-lol!

sparklycheerymummy · 22/11/2009 22:19

i cannot see down there at all....... nearly passed out earlier trying to shave my legs in the bath cos i couldnt breathe!!!

anniebigpants · 22/11/2009 22:21

I just had to put it on blind as i couldnt see mine either!
