kayzr · 04/02/2009 21:21

Nope I don't think so. Has DP apologised?

OP posts:
Sparklytwinkletoes · 04/02/2009 21:22

LB that sounds good to me, I packed muslins too for using whilst winding and catching mouths of baby sick - can't remember if I used them or not though!

I'm assuming you'll pack toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, gel etc same time as makeup and hairbrush?

Next time I'll pack my own prunes and a bottle of squash so I don't have to send DH out for them too.

lardybump · 04/02/2009 21:25

No DP hasn't apologised yet but acting as if nothing has happened.....

Muslins thanks STT I would of forgotten them, have packed toothbrush etc already bought new ones last week when i went in....

Sparklytwinkletoes · 04/02/2009 21:30

LB, DP probably doesn't even really realise what he said. Have you thought anymore about having him in at the birth?

What will you do with DD? Will she be with your family?

Sparklytwinkletoes · 04/02/2009 21:31

Had a text from LTE earlier, she's not going to be posting for a while. RL has caught up with her...

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 04/02/2009 21:32

Ooh Diege- I might well ask you... I'd love to do a routine like that but Im a bit scared at the general bad press it gets black out blind installed in nursery already

Having an interesting evening here. Had dull back ache all afternoon and now feeling loads of strong pains right at base of bump and deep in lower back.... Hopeing its trapped wind.... or BHs....

Off to relax for a bit

Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 04/02/2009 21:33

Woah!!! So much to catch up on!!
That's what I get for actually going in to work
Our road is still at least 2" completely deep in snow/ice so I didn't feel great driving down it but managed ok.
I spoke to my friend who's living on Prince Edward Island, Canada earlier. She's had 3 feet of snow for most of the time since the beginning of November!! They cope pretty well, just a shame us Brits get a bit of snow and go to pieces!

You lot have been chatting too much whilst I've been away! Have read through but not sure how much I'll remember...

Astarte - LOL at your dream! Happy to be your birth partner and just realised that my guess has vanished from the syndicate. I think I said the 8th but if I'm going to be your birth partner, can I delay you to 15th as that's my birthday!!

LBOT - tidying at the wkend went ok. Didn't get it all done but made a good impact. DH cleaned the kitchen "superficially" (as he put it!) which basically meant cleaning the sink and clearing worktops and wiping them down. Did not include cleaning the floors, fridge, oven, hob or tiles! I suppose I expect too much! He did also do some gardening, sort the recycling and take the dogs for a walk. I cleaned the bathroom (naturally including tiles, windowsills, floors, shelf, mirror as well as all the obvious!) and dusted and vacuumed all upstairs. I also managed to empty another few boxes from where we moved house - just one left now!

LB - that seems a v comprehensive list for your bag! Can't think of anything you've missed but with no experience I may not be the best person to ask!

NJ - glad HV went well once she eventually got to you!

Kay - hmmm... trying to think of where we've been to eat in York... We normally go for lunch at Cafe Concerto by the Minster but it is more of a cafe place. I'll ask my friends when I next speak to them!

IDOB - good to hear from you and about the sickness IYKWIM!

Treats - are you lurking?? Hope all's ok!

Oh, sorry can't remember anything else now and I guess you've all gone for the evening... Have a good one all! Am due to be travelling a lot tomorrow and then out at a friend's in the evening so may not be on much tomorrow

kayzr · 04/02/2009 21:35

Maybe you should talk to him, make him realise what he said.

I'll miss LTE but I understand if she needs a break.

OP posts:
lardybump · 04/02/2009 21:40

ladies please remember i am up the duff and so have 0 brain power at the moment....

Who is LTE and (not being rude) who are you sparkly..... I wish I had sparkly toes i havent seen them for a while so know they are going to be nasty by the time I get to saloon.....

DD will either be with my mum or his mum (my mum I hope but depends when baby is born as mum works during term times.) I will probably have him at the birth but not if he keeps snapping at me.... I am going to have a chat with him at the weekend as I am too tired by the time dd goes to bed during the week, and talking about these things is not good when tired...

Sparklytwinkletoes · 04/02/2009 21:46

LB, sorry, LTE is LaTourEiffel, like I said RL has caught up so she wants some time out.

LB - have you checked your facebook account recently?

Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 04/02/2009 21:51

Hey! There are some of you still about!

LB - I'm a bit confused too but have put 2+2 together and hoping I'm making 4..

Sparkly - shame about RL for LTE

lardybump · 04/02/2009 21:53

Ah I have thank you i am on this planet again.......

kayzr · 04/02/2009 21:53

For any ladies that aren't in the wagon facebook group I'll add a link as I think a few aren't in it.

Here it is!!

lardybump · 04/02/2009 21:55

I have requested to join..... Who's is the baby in the pick??

Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 04/02/2009 22:04

I'm not certain LB but I think Gruff posted the wagon baby picture - very apt don't you think!!

Sparklytwinkletoes · 04/02/2009 22:05

Ohh that's fab Kayz, I love facebook!

Evening Ses, that was some mega catchup, I've hardly had time to turnaround since the weekend, work has been so busy and it seems to be getting busier. I just have to take a breath every now and then and think of the bigger picture, so I don't get too stressed.

kayzr · 04/02/2009 22:06

I think the pic came from Google LB. We have borrowed him/her.

Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 04/02/2009 22:11

Make sure you do Sparkly! You've got a lot on your plate atm but I know my priorities have changed already and I've not even got DC1 yet!!

Scary thought though is that I'm nearly in 3rd trimester and only have 8 weeks left at work!!! Just think, I'll be able to feed my MN addiction even more then!! Especially in those (hopefully) 5 weeks before the birth!

kayzr · 04/02/2009 22:14

I feel like I have been really busy today but I actually haven't.

Maybe it is because I have started 2 threads today. I did this one and the new Dec 08 one too. That must count as work.

Tomorrow is farmers market day so I will be going out to try and get some nice veg.

OP posts:
Sparklytwinkletoes · 04/02/2009 22:15

Blimey Ses, its gone so quick for me watching you all get your BFP's and now the babies are here - I've got miles to go! Just a bit worried you'll not find time for me when I finally catch up.

I've put in my request too.

Kay, if there are any wagonners on your friends that I'm not connected to, can you 'introduce' us?

Thanks for ongoing support guys. x

Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 04/02/2009 22:18

Don't worry, when I'm in the throws of adjusting to DC1 and motherhood, I'll be pestering you all for advice!
And when I put it in weeks, it seems really close but when I say my EDD is 10th May, it still seems an age away!

kayzr · 04/02/2009 22:19

Of course Sparkly

OP posts:
Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 04/02/2009 22:20

Ooh yes Kay! Do put Sparkly in touch on FB!!

Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 04/02/2009 22:23

Right, I must go off to bed. DH is away tonight checking on a team relaying a bit of runway at Heathrow!!!???!
I'm watching the extra time between Everton and Liverpool but will maybe watch the rest in bed

Catch you tomorrow!
