Well just got back from Town as we went for a little walk after appointment. She did the sweep and said I was 1cm... she didn't seem very hopeful but did say that it may work..... I have since had a small pinkish show so you never know.... Have appointment booked for Wednesday to see consultant so we will see.. MW hopes they will do another sweep then and book me in for induction on friday but we will see.......

Having a curry tonight so wont be back on.. Hope you all have a lovely evening and will catch up tomorrow.

Sparklytwinkletoes · 19/02/2009 20:06

Evening LB - you'll need to do lots of lovely walking up stairs sideways and all that palava! Fingers crossed for you

Well, had the bath but have crept back downstairs, DS isn't settling very well tonight so want to give him 10 mins to go into a deeper sleep before clattering around in the bathroom

DH has just told the IL's our news - hope they don't get too excited yet, not sure I can cope with an over enthusiastic MIL They are lovely though, I'm pleased they know.

GruffaloSoldier · 19/02/2009 21:38

Hey just a quick question for Gyo - did you have Claudia for breastfeeding session?we had a 2 hour session last week and she was really good and have another 2 hours tomorrow night. We also have an all day session on Sunday. We are enjoying the sessions how are you finding them?

Right Ive got to get back to my visitors but I am hoping to catch up properly later!Hope everyone is ok.

kayzr · 19/02/2009 22:04

Sorry I've not been around. I hope everyone is ok.

I've got my knee x-ray tomorrow so hoping that it will be nothing serious.

I've been setting up my charity fundraising page. I have 1 year and 4 months to raise £950 and to get fit enough so doing the 3 peaks doesn't kill me. So another reason why I need my knee to be in tip top shape.

I'll pop on in the morning to catch up!

Night.

Morning!

Wow first on today....Really losing the plot on sleeping or lackthereof... think I've reached my personal best for getting up for loo during the night now.... - its just making me sooooo grumpy. Poor DH !

Hurray for being 7 wks STT.. time is going fast...

Gruff- yes, we had Claudia last night, I was really impressed by her. She was so informative but also non-pushy despite her strong views!

Classes are going well; the teacher is informativeand the grp seem really nice. But the schedule is a bit unrelenting since we were delayed starting due to NCT staffing issues so its rather compressed. This week we've done 2hrs on Tues, Thurs, we are doing another 2 on Sunday. We then have another 2hrs on both Tuesday AND Thursday next week. Wondering if your allday sessions are better really!! Seems a bit harsh on DH working really long hours and then coming home to discussions of epidurals etc !! Think we will be glad to reach the labour stage...

MW coming this morning to discuss the home birth!!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 20/02/2009 07:47

Sorry Kayz- meant to say, good luck for the xray

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 20/02/2009 07:53

am useless this morning....

LB- glad the s&s was ok and you had a show etc. Fingers crossed things get moving over the w/e.

lardybump · 20/02/2009 08:20

Morning everyone nothing going on here. Dont think the S&S has done anything to be honest. Did go for a walk around town yesturday but it killed my pelvis so stairs were out of the question last night. Had a hot curry and got period type pains last night but all gone now so think i am in for the long haul now...

Feeling a little depressed at the moment so may not be on today, need a bit of time to myself i think... I think it is a mixture of SPD, lack of sleep and the thing I mentioned on fb that is getting me down really. Also really dont want to be pg anymore (really bad way to think I know)... I am getting upset by the littlest of things and seeing problems when there aren't any as well.........

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 20/02/2009 08:24

Hi LB- sorry you are feeling down... hope you are ok... we are lurking here with some wagon brownies later on.

take it easy.

Cosmogirl · 20/02/2009 09:13

Morning all,

Sorry for being a grumpy moo last night. Feel much better this morning, but then mornings always better than evenings for me

Sorry to hear you are feeling fed up LB - but completely understandable. At least it is prob days not weeks now before something kicks off - try to keep telling yourself you are almost at the finish line.

Diege - grr at hospital appt. That is annoying. And to have to remind them to do the most basic of things like urine and blood pressure is not good at all.

Well done on 7 weeks SST.

GYo - glad your class went well last night. We haven't done NCT but we did the NHS all in one Sunday thing last week. Boy, was that a lot to take in during one day. Have to say I am glad not to be doing lots of separate evening sessions though, due to nausea and ridiculously early bed times, I would never actually make the classes....!

Right it is DH's 30th today so I must must must be a good wife, not get angry, fall out with him or generally let my hormones start talking for me....oh wish me luck this is going to be a long long day.....

kayzr · 20/02/2009 09:13

Morning,

LB, Sorry you are feeling down. I know exactly how you feel about not wanting to be pg anymore. I was like that in the last few weeks with DS2.

I am actually dreading the x-ray. I have never had one and I really don't know what happens. I doubt it is anything to worry about but it is really scaring me.

OP posts:
Sparklytwinkletoes · 20/02/2009 09:42

Kay, x-ray should be nothing to worry about, they don't hurt, its just the same as having a photograph taken. If they need you to get into any funny positions it might be uncomfortable but I would have thought you would be able to get most angles 'photographed' from simply lying in different positions. They have a big table for you to lie on. Hope the results are good for you

I was coming on to post that I'm feeling quite worried this morning - I wasn't feeling tired yesterday and don't feel it today either, and I don't feel sick either, and its about the same times as symptoms started fading when I had the mc, so wasn't sure what to do.

But since I started typing the sickness is starting to creep in, so maybe I was managing it better, by not eating late at night, and having breakfast fairly early this morning

Booking in isn't till next thurs though so can't see that I'd get a scan very quickly even if I wanted one. Wish I'd asked for one before now... any advice anyone?

Sparklytwinkletoes · 20/02/2009 09:43

Or maybe I'm just worrying myself sick?

I've got sharpish pains across my tummy too

GruffaloSoldier · 20/02/2009 09:44

Hey all

just another quick one as my sis has started our kitchen and Im watching

Gyo - ours Sunday ones (3 in total) are 10.30-4.30!they are quite good but by 4.30 you def are ready for home!we are finding the classes good so far. we did a hospital tour Aat Frimley last week and were very impressed!

LB - sorry you are feeling depressed - Im sure its all perfectly normal.

Cosmo - glad you are feeling better.

Sorry that was a poor attempt at catching up but sister is going tomorrow so I'l be back on properly soon. Until then I'l try and stay in the loop

kayzr · 20/02/2009 09:45

Is there any chance of seeing a MW earlier to ask for a scan or see a GP to get a scan?

OP posts:
Sparklytwinkletoes · 20/02/2009 09:56

I don't know, what do I do, ring the surgery and speak to the receptionist, (they're horrible), try and book a doc's appt. or ask the doc to ring me?

kayzr · 20/02/2009 09:59

Ring and ask for them to get a doc to ring you.
