Good plan MOS! Most take an extra empty suitcase for shopping when abroad, clothes, jewellery, perfume... Your DH gets to fill his with shortbread and shreddies

Am I mean to tell dp the only reason I 'want' to have sex is to try to get this baby out and that I've actually forgotten any other reason to do it?
That's it now, I'm not doing it again until after baby.

spotty, and the mini eggs, and the 'proper' womens magazines (ie without half the sodding pages torn out or blacked out with marker pen) and the calpol, and the tampax (hard to get here)and, and, and.....

LBB, well I guess it is at least still safe sex at the moment [wink}
DH and I had the 'snip' conversation but we are not really getting anywhere. I've heard the 'it will be uncomfortable line' (remind me, how comfortable is pregnancy/spd/childbirth/cs)?
and now we've had the 'well its expensive' (again, remind me of the costs of having and bringing up a child are?)
I tell you, if men had the babies there would only be one in each household

good luck for tomorrow those with cs. It's much easier than 4 days of labour i can tell you!

ms - yes the norks have reached truly epic proportions! dh is well impressed and dd1 is loving the extra milk

back later rellies over today so won't be on much.

Hope you are all well. I dont think I had a show I think I may have an infection .

TMI Alert please excuse the following, and dont read if having your breakfast:

My knickers are wet in the evening but I dont think it is waters as I can not feel it coming out. Also it is slightly yellow/green and smells!!!! Also when I go to wee there are little white bits in it....

I have midwife on Thursday so will be bringing it up with her.....

Anyway now I have made you all feel sick I will leave you in peace for a while and get my breakfast.........

Is there a new O & U baby this morning - ooh tell me more.....

Feeling very sleep deprived this morning.....Amy went down at about 7pm - threw up on herself at 8.50pm....laid on my shoulder whilst ds went out with some mates (he hasn't been out in aaaaages and his best mate was over from the states) and after I fed her at 10ish went down til 1.15......well after that it was game over and I could not settle her any which way. I fear she may have finally woken up and is not the placid child I brought home. Help !!!!...................GET YOUR SLEEP IN LADIES IF YOU CAN !.

Good luck cs ladies for tomorrow. LMN keep an eye on that show. Maybe a cs this pm instead???

Sorry for your crap night. Sadly sleep is something you can't bank in advance so even if we sleep round the clock we'll still be feeling apalling in a few weeks time. Oh well, it won't last forever, will it? I'm still hoping DS1 (3.7) will sleep through the night some time soon...

Lardy it does sound like it could be an infection; green & smelly doesn't sound good! If I were you I wouldn't leave it until Thursday, you probably need to knock it on the head sooner rather than later.

Lardy.....further down the motorway...I work at the hosp near MrsY but live 20 miles further east.

I also think you should speak to someone about your leak etc today....can you ring labour ward and get some advice.....you need to take note when green tinged. Thursday is too long to wait until. You also may have urine infection?

Hopefully, all will stay put with me now till CS in the morning!

lardy Apparently the smell is a dead give away for it being waters breaking rather than just pissing yourself. I'd give the team at PH a ring, if I were you. You and LMN could be in the next bed to each other!!!!

Hope you all got a good night's sleep, especially those who will be having a baby tomorrow!!!!

I thought yesterday was 'it' for me. Felt shitty all day, back ache, loads of BH, sleepy, pains in me bits, nauseas....
So I went for a long walk late afternoon, felt the most pregnant I have ever felt IYKWIM. Came home & I just hung over my Fitball for a good half hour or so, tried to eat something, but was sooooo uncomfortable.

Went to bed at 8pm, with regular BH. I really really thought id be waking up in hospital this morning. But as soon as I managed to fall asleep, that was it. NOTHING. NADDA. ZERO!!!

So, am hoping that was a sign that things are beginning to get going soon. Am due a week tomorrow, so who knows

How are all the CS people feeling today? I cant imagine what it must feel like to know you will be meeting your little ones tomorrow. Must be lovely. Good Luck again to all xx

lardy I'd call someone today too, want to be careful with infections there at this stage I should think.
I've just noticed a really nasty smell too.....gonna see how it goes and if still there in a few hours, I'll be on phone to labour ward. Am hoping that it friction from our activity this morning........

waters smell very sweet ......mine went in a big way last time and it was very obvious. This morning, no smell at all...which confused me....still I could be leaking slightly I spose....

Right I need to do last minute housework!

tonnes of mucus the last few days, not a show i think as it's too thin but too thick to be waters.... just vag gunk i think but i feel wet all the time and it's not improving my mood any!

i'm now officially the most pregnant i've ever been dd was born at 39+4 and i'm 39+5 now.

kung fu panda keep grinding his shoulder into my pubic bone and it's annoying the crap outta me.

LMN..... hope you make it til tomorrow but sounds like you might meet your baby a bit sooner than that

lardy, definitely get it checked out, sounds like the infection i got a few months back and this close to labour it needs to be treated if it is.

MOS..... at the price of things over there, it's unbelievable that they can do that. dp has objections to the snip too as he heard it's extremely painful and sometimes a man becomes impotent or his cock swells up and get infected.... my response was 'well childbirth is bloody painful and i could die so snip snip darling'

is o&u's the last january or the first february baby i wonder?
