YAY!

It wont take forever to load now - well til the end of the week the way you lot chatter!!

34 weeks today, got midwife appointment at 2.15pm, really cant get motivated to get dressed yet though! Been doing loads of housey stuff this morning, as well as finally packing my hospital bag (bar pj's and wash kit for me) and hanging all the gorgeous little blue things in the wardrobe.

Roll on 26th November.... need this baby out now. Have had a bad weekend with lots of pains and aches and generally feeling fat and fed up. Wouldnt mind so much, but im only 5' and with such a big bump (never had a proper bump with the girls, always just looked fat!) I feel a little out of proportion and finding the bump really heavy.

I know I know, i need to stop moaning, but i just want baby OUT!!! I think someone out there needs to rething this pregnancy malarky.... 9 months is FAR too long.... how about... erm.... 9 weeks?! Sounds much better to me!

Hope you are all well, wont be long before we get some more babies to join Sparkly with Callum.... talking of which, hope you are both ok my love xxx

RGPargy · 15/10/2007 11:49

Now it's catch up time!

Kayla - Sorry to hear about your fall. Stick your feet up and Wispa it up to the max!! You poor thing!

Sparkly - Callum looks so tiny in comparison to Jasmine! But either way, they both look absolutely adorable!

Choc - i still cant believe you're working up til 38 weeks. You mentalist!! Glad you enjoyed the baby stalking.

FCH - It's weird when you think that there's actually a little person inside your tummy isn't it!! Glad you enjoyed your baby stalking too!

Silk - awww bless your DH snuggling up with a cardi! Knitted things are a dieing art these days aren't they. Shame realy as some stuff can be absolutely lovely. Enjoy your spa day - lucky you!

LOM - It was such a struggle at one point. I was sat at the back of the room on the sofa and was really really struggling to keep my eyes open, despite the loud music!! I had to have stand up and walk around to wake me up again lol.

Oooo swimming cossie - that reminds me! I really must try and find one coz i wanted to get some swimming in whilst i was on mat leave. I do have one at home but i think if i attempt to put it on, my boobs will just fall out the top of it!

This is my last Monday at work everyone! Hoo-bloomin-ray!!! 2 days to go!!

JARM · 15/10/2007 11:52

STATS SO FAR

GIRLS : 9
BOYS : 15 (including Callum)
SUPRISE : 30

OMG - thats 54 babies due in november - almost 2 per day!!!

RGPargy · 15/10/2007 11:52

Hi Jarm!

Well, going on the last thread, it takes us about a month to get over 800 replies, so that (in theory) should take us up til most of our due dates with just us stragglers posting on here by the end (you're due the day before me). Think we'll have to crash the post-natal thread by then, dont you?!

OP posts:
JARM · 15/10/2007 11:54

too right!!!

I bet there will be us crashing the december ante-natal too.... although i really really really really want to avoid that at all costs!!!

RGPargy · 15/10/2007 11:55

Ugh, dont say that! I want this little girl out at 2 weeks early, thank-you-please.

OP posts:
JARM · 15/10/2007 11:57

lol i feel the same.... DD2 was 4 days over, so hoping if i can get the sex/pineapple/nipple stim etc going from 36 weeks, i might be in with a chance!!!

RGPargy · 15/10/2007 12:10

You go for it! DS was 3 weeks early so i'm hoping his little sister will follow suit.

OP posts:
JARM · 15/10/2007 12:13

oooh you lucky thing

i dont want you to go before me!!!!!

RGPargy · 15/10/2007 12:14

Race you to the finish line!

OP posts:
JARM · 15/10/2007 12:14

you're on!!!!

sparklygothkat · 15/10/2007 12:41

hello all, I am well, i feel fab!! thanks for asking iris! took callum to the school for the first time since the day he was discharged, and it took 20 minutes to get out the playground lol people kept saying they were going to steal him

ps in case anyone missed it on the last thread, check out my lastest pic on my profile

iris66 · 15/10/2007 12:55

Yay - new thread! last thead before the postnatal one!!

Sparkly - I'm not surprised it took you so long to get out of the playground - Callum is such an adorable little dot

JARM - I'm 37 wks today and despite all I've done (including attacking DH at 5am this morning, spending over an hour on my hands and knees scrubbing my kitchen floor and bouncing around on my ball for ages) nothing has happened, nada, zilch, zero action.Hardly even a BH Neither of mine were early though - DD bang on date and DS induced 39+2 after a slow start as he clearly wasn't in a hurry either. I think it's true what they say that unless everything's ready, it aint gonna happen until it happens

JARM · 15/10/2007 13:12

Iris - i know, i tried everything with DD2 but not until 38-39 weeks, so hoping if i start earlier, this one may make it on time! (well i can only hope!)

Sparkly - the size difference!!! Jasmine is LOVELY but Callum, well.... i could quite easily sit and cuddle and sniff him for hours!!! Glad you are doing ok, make sure you rest woman!

Am just getting the last few bits for xmas sorted - have been a bit organised this year in comparason to previous ones, but got it in my head that at most, DS will be 4 weeks old when xmas comes, and the thought of trying to shop is making me feel sick!!!

sparklygothkat · 15/10/2007 13:16

JARM, I do sit and cuddle and sniff him lol He is just stirring for his next feed. My poor breasts only have to look at him and they start leaking pmsl!!

Good morning! The new thread is a good, but it will no doubt be jam-packed by Friday at the rate we're going.

Kayla -- I hope you're recovering all right from your fall. It sounds very alarming!

JARM -- maybe 9 months is a long time for you second- and third-timers, but I need every minute of it to get ready!

So yesterday afternoon I had my baby shower. My mother went a bit Victorian with the tea -- silver tea set, little cucumber sandwiches, miniature scones, etc., but it was really nice. I got loads of stuff, and feel fully equipped... except that I still need basically everything to do with feeding and elimination, so there's still lots of shopping to do. The good thing is that now I can get on with it.

Silk -- I also have several bin bags of used things. I'm not sure what to do with all of it. Chances are I'll take some more of it to give away before the baby even arrives, since I have some nice new things now, too. I mean, I know people say you need lots of those babygro things, but I'm sure I don't need this many (2 dozen? about a dozen different footy pyjamas in each size, etc.)

Off to shop!

Loopy - there's no way this one is sitting all snug until 42 weeks!!! She's coming out at 38 whether she likes it or not! (i wish!).

Aiki - Baby showers sound like such a good way to get free stuff. I dont think we have them over here in the UK - i've never heard of one over here anyway!

berrybliss · 15/10/2007 14:33

SGK- Callum looks oh so lovely. You just want to cuddle him!

Hello clu!

I really want my babyout in the next 3 weeks i'm only 35+1 but a bit fed up now.

Were ment to be moving in tomorrow so i'm off to the house later to help with the cleaning. The kitchen and dining room still need painting and the bathroom floor is still not tiled. But at least Upstairs is finished.
I just sit in Lo room its painted china blue and white, it makes me calm down and think not too long and i'll be able to meet him!

Glad to hear that people had a good weekend, and that your ok Kayla.

JARM · 15/10/2007 14:50

well back from MW appointment.

After being 2cm larger than my weeks at my 32 week appointment, im still only measuring 34cm today.... BUT.... im 3/5 engaged!!!

OMG! He really could be early! DD2 didnt engage at all until labour, but his head is right down in the pelvis now!

Everything else all ok, BP normal/low as usual and she hadto take blood again to check my iron levels, dont know why because 10.1 is good for me!!!

Pixiefish · 15/10/2007 14:54

signing in. dd not well- little dot has earache

RGPargy · 15/10/2007 15:06

Berry - good luck with the cleaning. I dont envy you moving house at this stage! I moved when i was about 20 weeks or so and that was bad enough!

Jarm - at you being 3/5 engaged! They can unengage tho so it might not be wise to get your hopes up too much.

Pixie - hope dd gets better soon!

OP posts:
JARM · 15/10/2007 15:16

Dont say that RGP! I can feel him right down there anyway, walking is becoming a nightmare!

MW wouldnt say yes or no to early, but was suprised he had engaged already.... her words were "i cant say yes or no but i would have everything ready if i were you"!

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

hopefully only 4 more weeks!!! next appointment is 30th Oct....

sparklygothkat · 15/10/2007 15:53

the SCBU nurse came to see us today, no weight gain again, so the feeding tube has been re-inserted. We have to partically top up after every feed, and if he doesn't wake every 4 hour we have to do a full tube fed.
