@ShiningStarz 39 weeks and 3 days. But it's been a long road to this point.. even though I don't have a clear medical need for induction or ceaserean, I have had lots of hurdles this pregnancy. Severe hyperemesis..hospitalized several times, Two antepartum bleeds, fibroids degeneration pains and now pelvic girdle pains. Its been so long and I am so ready for it to end. I hope things move along quickly for you.
@ChipsAreLife I guess the body just isn't ready if it isn't ready. I know I need to be patient... I'd try.

@Smilymami I hope you are ok. I'm sure you'll
so relieved to see things progress. My fingers and toes are crossed for you.

@UrsulaSings I hope things start naturally for you overnight and maybe you won't need another pessary. Everything crossed for you too.

I haven't had any spotting / bleeding post sweep. They said it may happen. No changes here but hopefully over the next 36hours something happens 🤞🤞🤞

@ShiningStarz thank you. Hope the sweep helps move things forward a bit. I had a few sweeps and although they didnt start labour, my cervix did become shorter, softer and more central. Every little helps!!

Sorry for not updating, things have been a bit of a whirlwind!
Baby girl was delivered safely on Monday 31st weighing 9lb 9oz (so much for waiting for September!)
She's doing really well, we had some monitoring in NICU due to her heart but all looked well for now so we came home today she'll need an operation when she's 4-6 months old so it's all about us monitoring her until then making sure she doesn't need any other intervention in the meantime 🙏🏼

I spent yesterday , my birthday , being a spoilt as you can be with a newborn , I got a whole extra ten minutes sleep and a midwife visit 🤣 we had to spend most of our day in the hospital as midwife thought Kairo had jaundice , he didn't thankfully but apparently it's quite common when babies are mixed race because it can be hard to tell. Was difficult to get around such a big hospital post c section but we got there.

Happy belated birthday @Piper1879 glad little kairo is ok. Snap with the mixed race! Didn't realise about the jaundice! Will bear that in mind when it's our turn :)

@ChipsAreLife my new harem pants arrived yesterday!!! They are so soft and comfy and glad I got size below my normal size as they fit perfectly! The waist band is great for going over bump now too!! Going to wear them today and get out for few walks, dry here today!! It's a miracle!! They are nice with flip flops, not sure they would look right with trainers.

I joined that breastfeeding what to wear Facebook group.. someone on here recommended. There is an amazing gap nursing hoody on it, warm and cosy for the winter and has side zips to enable feeding!! Couple really pretty wrap tops too. I'm going to see if I can get started first and then order couple staples.

Time to dye my hair, pluck my eyebrows and hope that in the next 24 hrs something happens !!!! 🤞

I'm usually a 10 but after reading the reviews I ordered the 8 and they are perfect, I didn't want them baggy. They are so soft! I got regular leg and I'm 5'2. They come in the long leg too. 😊

I think i’ve gone insane- decided I needed to hand wash my teddy bears today 🤣🤣 (they aren't even the baby's teddy bears- they are mine). Nesting to the extreme lol

@OrDis I'm the same. Washing sofa covers and cushion covers. I know it's bonkers but I'm like everything must be clean 😂
I also ironed all the baby clothes I washed. As a general rule I don't usually iron anything. My partner was like whyyyy haha

Gah, waiting for a call back from the midwife as one of my ankles/feet is swollen and the other one is fine.

Dr Google tells me I'm probably dying from a blood clot 🤔🙄

I'm sure it's just fulltermitis but I really want to avoid going up to the hospital!

I had that a few weeks ago @LatteLover12 i had to go to hospital to see a dvt nurse, had my leg scanned and luckily there were no clots. I hope it will be all good for you too.

Haha hahahah I never iron anything and yet I took the time to iron baby bed sheets and all the clothes!!! It prob helps that they are teeny!!! I spent the morning dying my greys, using hair remover cream and plucking eyebrows!!! Feel hospital ready lol 🙈🙈 now its time to walk, way and bounce on the ball!!!!

Oh gosh @MooseWL cushion covers! I hadnt even thought about those! They are 100% going in the washing next lol.

I also never iron anything and am considering ironing the babies clothes. I think it’s because I used non-bio but no fabric softener and so they don’t feel soft enough to me- maybe an iron would soften them a bit 🤣🤣🤣.

Washing and ironing cushions covers @MooseWL 😲 I'm hoping my desire to nest will kick in soon, I've washed clothes and shoved them in a drawer but that is about it 😂

I can't believe we are almost on another thread!! Does someone know how to it just so we can save it in preparation!! Iv a feeling it's gunna be a busy couple of weeks!!
