Hey all!
So I eventually got home on Friday after much arguments. One consultant saying I need to follow one plan and that I could go home Friday night and Friday nights consultant saying I couldn’t.
Wanted to keep me all weekend due to one high reading. We argued and eventually got another reading done which came back low enough to come home.
No longer sure which consultant to listen to and what to do for the best.
Back for a scan tomorrow as all 3 Doppler readings were raised on Friday.
Far as I’m concerned I feel ok and the baby is moving ok and everything so I may wing it from here on in 😂

Can’t believe we are all so close now! It’s very exciting @ChipsAreLife!
Congratulations on getting baby Wren home Sara!!

HugeAgeGap · 09/08/2020 14:46

Thanks @ChipsAreLife I love the way you've got some stuff in your bag now! I've half packed mine after sonographer said babies head was engaged at 32w and I'm having a section at 39. I have no idea what Braxton Feels like as had a planned section last time and didn't have any then but thought I'd better be ready now as I have a weakened cervix too which Consultant thinks could mean going into labour early... xx

WillowT · 09/08/2020 15:01

@Lorna198 great that you've been allowed home but annoying about conflicting info!

Thanks for the new thread @ChipsAreLife .... not long now 😳

ShiningStarz · 09/08/2020 15:39

Thanks for the new thread 😊

MatildaSoul · 09/08/2020 15:50

just marking my place :) due 26th sept with a little boy xx

Sara7455 · 09/08/2020 15:52

Thanks for the new thread @ChipsAreLife

@Lorna198 that’s great they’ve let you go home but be careful with yourself! I was in the same position going into a weekend and just my 6PM reading between me and home - they kept me in and turned out for the best as I was rushed down to delivery within 48 hours. Not to panic you, every situation is different but just err on the side of caution I guess.
Consultants were the same with me for conflicting advice- one would say you’ll be fine to go home and monitor and the next saying absolutely not, stay here until he’s born. So frustrating as you don’t know who’s right!

ShiningStarz · 09/08/2020 16:21

@Lorna198 also on a Friday night .. it may have not been a consultant. They usually are great at being there mon - fri but the juniors hold the reigns over the weekends!! Good Youv a scan booked for tomorrow. Be prepared to be back in tho and to stay in. Best place for them to keep an eye on you and bubs XX

MostlyAmbridgeandcoffee · 09/08/2020 16:57

Thanks for the new thread!!

Thanks for the new thread. 35+3 and struggling in this heat! Have barely moved all weekend. Just sat infront of a fan. Dreading working tomorrow my set up is in the bay window of our spare room which is south facing 😭😭

Laura1348 · 09/08/2020 17:27

Thanks for the new thread!

Lorna198 · 09/08/2020 18:11

@Sara7455 yeah it’s so difficult to know what’s best and I’m being very very careful about what I’m doing. We have a home monitor and it’s kept within the same figures since I got back so hoping I’ve done the best thing. I’m sure they will tell me differently tomorrow!

@ShiningStarz yeah I’ve repacked my bag ready to be kept in. I am interested to see which consultant it will be though!

@emma278 the heat is hard work! Thunder due here for the next couple of so I’m hoping that doesn’t mean it will be humid too!

Not been on any other thread but I'm due baby 10th September ❤️ second little girl and I can't wait.

I hope everyone is coping okin this heat!

Sara7455 · 09/08/2020 19:10

@Lorna198 sounds like you are being sensible with it, one to watch in case you get a sudden spike as you know but hopefully that won’t be the case!

Lilice · 09/08/2020 19:20

Thanks for the new thread @ChipsAreLife it's getting closer now yay! I've got everything to start packing the bags, just need to do it now lol. So glad I've finally received the nursery furniture too. But we still haven't got a name! Im team yellow but have a feeling this is a boy, and can't find any name that we both really like

@Lorna198 glad you're finally home

Sunsage · 09/08/2020 19:27

I was on the other thread a little bit! Due 12th September 😁 thanks for the new thread! I'll try and keep up with this one better lol

MooseWL · 09/08/2020 19:41

@chanel05 so apparently 26/09 is most common birth date for babies! 3 of us on 25th and 3 on 26th... 🤔 Christmas 😂🙄

Lorna198 · 09/08/2020 19:42

@Chanel05 12th for me 💛
@Sunsage snap on the date!

MooseWL · 09/08/2020 19:43

@lilice boys names are so hard! We'd narrowed it down to two but we couldn't agree which one...but as of last week I think we've finally decided on one and it's neither of those two! Late contender!

Sunsage · 09/08/2020 19:46

Date twins! How exciting @Lorna198 💛

ShiningStarz · 09/08/2020 21:26

I suddenly feel very nervous at the thought of this thread being the one we announce our news on !!!! Eeeeeek OMG!!!
I was reading back at the first one a while ago and it was so lovely to read the very early stages with the BFP and pictures of pregnancy tests back then, feels like such a long time ago. We can so do this girls !!!!

Lilice · 09/08/2020 21:38

@MooseWL good stuff you've found the name 😁 did you go through lists online or just in your head?

NeuroMama · 09/08/2020 23:05

We are struggling so much with names! I genuinely think this kid is gonna be nameless.for the first few weeks. Boys names are so much harder than girls!
