A big thank you to @Shak19 for setting up the original thread, you started this group and we are all so grateful for that.

Here we go, month three in the pregnancy journey 👣

Just told the nail technician my news 😂 I am so fed up of keeping this secret and she doesn’t know me so figured why not 😂

@Sunshine8888 haha i'm glad i'm not the only person telling complete stranger i'm pregnant to get it of my chest while not telling friends lol i told the boots pharmacy lady randomly for no convincing good reason 😂

@jeffsar4 did you read the newsfeed yesterday about the 75 year old who had her first baby with her 80 year old husband in india through IVF ??? i'm sure 40 is the new 30 😂

Only people who know I am pregnant is my mum and partner cos of my history gonna hold off as long as possible. But I do feel u wanna shout it from roof tops.

Anyone else experiencing a bit of abuse / negative comments on this forum? I made another thread way back when things were a little scary and explained my mental health problems and ha e encountered my first troll :(

@mrsf1204 From what I’ve seen this forum has been very supportive, don’t listen to negative nasty people ❤️❤️

@mrsf1204 that’s all they are... a troll. Someone with nothing better to do, thinks it’s funny to wind people up behind the safety of their keyboard. Makes them feel big for a split second because in real life they’re not loved or given the time of day by anyone. Doesn’t get out much.

@Helensss @sazzlerazzle thank you ladies. I don't care so much about my feelings as I can rise above it I think I was just shocked that someone would act in such a way, especially on a topic so tender. Guess it just goes to show there are still some a-holes out there no matter what we hope to think.

@Moonstone12 ah you hero you! It was unnecessary wasn't it?! I thought maybe I was getting het up about nothing but now I don't think I was. Just uncalled for. Why be so bitter and nasty?!

@mrsf1204 I made a post recently about struggling worth my sons sleeping as he doesn't sleep through and asking for tips to which I was told because he isn't up all night long I should be happy!! 😟🙈

How are you feeling now?i had terrible v&d on Wednesday.v &d for 13 hours straight.I had to take Thursday off work too as I was so nauseous.I went back to work today and my ribs are aching from all the heaving.Anyhow my sister is training to be a midwife, in her last year and said that v&d is only an issue in pregnancy if you can’t keep any fluids down for 2/3 days.Luckily I was able to eat watery lollies by Wednesday evening and that helped a great deal.Anyhow, I hope you are feeling better.

I got my appointment letter today.Woo hoo! 30th October.I will be 13 weeks 5 days for my scan.its quite late.i hope everything is ok.

@mrsf1204 @november90 oh no x i must admit i have certainly been a victim. i think it is in part the use of text without the voice or face. you might read the same sentence in 5 different way depending your state of mind, mood and previous experiences. i have certainly been upset by emails that i misread and then when i'm calm and read it again i realised it was not offensive just not as sweet as i would usually like to email.

it does unfortunately affect our mental health when we are open and vulnerable. as said above people tend to suddenly feel "brave" when hiding behind a keyboard with a nickname - they think they r untouchable 😡

this thread 2 - has been very civil and the ladies have been very kind towards me and each other x maybe if someone felt a comment is upsetting just PM the person and say politely ( your comment made me feel sad ) or something not aggressive so they have the chance to reflect and hopefully retract or explain their comment in a positive way.

@facevalue well I did exactly that and wrote back and said to maybe think about how your message may be taken by someone struggling with mental health and how 99% of people had been lovely to me and then there was her message and she said 'well I'm glad to be the 1% who isn't fluffy'

@Moussemum my scans booked at 13+3 and i worried it was late too, think up to 14 weeks is ok for dating scan, just feels like forever waiting to see doesnt it

I'm so fed up with this heartburn i honestly feel like crying . i just want to sleep but i can't lie down with this awful acid in my throat . i just an Omeprazole tablet. i already half a ball of yogurt which helped for 3 hours and now it's back 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

my gut is so bloated and i've forced all the burps i can out 😭😭 sorry TMI but i'm so fed up

Those tablets didn't work for me :( I feel for you as I am the same. Even yoghurt isn't helping

So I have a scan today I should be 8+1...I am absolutely sh*tting myself!!!

I have my early scan in 45mins and I’m bricking it!!
