A shiny new thread for our May mum's.

A big thank you to @Shak19 for setting up the original thread, you started this group and we are all so grateful for that.

Here we go, month three in the pregnancy journey 👣

👍🏻

CharlieB93 · 03/10/2019 08:31

Morning all. So yesterday I woke up without feeling sick and this morning my boobs are no longer sore either. I’m really worried something’s going wrong 😢 Is anyone else experiencing this?

ChampooPapi · 03/10/2019 08:34

@Helensss @Moonstone12 @woollycat
@CharlieB93 morning ladies 🤢😆

@charlieB93 my symptoms have come and go, especially sickness. I had a tiny bit of light brown spotting at week 5 and convinced myself all my symptoms were gone. My sore boobs came back the next day and I think a lot of it was in my mind and sheer panic made me believe the worst xx

ChampooPapi · 03/10/2019 08:36

@CharlieB93 had the same a few days last week, found it returned by the late afternoon, but remind me how far along you are? You may just be getting to the other side of the worst of it, but it definitely fluctuates in my experience, from almost death to feeling pretty good, all in the same few days sometimes

CharlieB93 · 03/10/2019 08:37

@ChampooPapi haha I’ll willing myself to be sick!
@helensss thank you, I’m such a worrier anyway in normal life but pregnancy seems to have ramped it up a bit 😢

rosewater20 · 03/10/2019 08:37

@charlieB93 my boobs aren't as sore today, and I too was nervous about it, but I read that symptom come and go and your body could be settling in with the hormones.

CharlieB93 · 03/10/2019 08:38

@ChampooPapi I’m 8+2, I think it’s too early for symptoms to subside 🤔

CharlieB93 · 03/10/2019 08:39

@rosewater20 thank you for the reassurance xx

ChampooPapi · 03/10/2019 08:41

@CharlieB93 I found week 8 Soo much better then week 7 where I was seriously feeble and plastered to the sofa moaning. Then week 9 started and I felt so queeze in the morning and afternoon again.

It plays on the mind but it does sound normal, if it helps smell something that usually makes you retch but didn't pre pregnancy, I'm sure it still will Wink

@CharlieB93 I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and haven't felt sick for 3 days now. I'm trying not to worry too much and enjoy the freedom of food. I've been thinking about a fry up since 2am!!! And laughing cow cheese!!! Maybe not on the same plate though!

facevalue · 03/10/2019 08:44

oh dear thread full in this day in age lol

thanks @ChampooPapi for sorting this and @shak19 as the original creator

i felt more able to eat last night and today . someone said that symptoms start easing usually by week 8? or did i imagine this - not google's it.

facevalue · 03/10/2019 08:45

@ChampooPapi did you say you had other kids?

CharlieB93 · 03/10/2019 08:45

@ChampooPapi haha!!!! Weirdly enough the most offensive smell to me at the minute is my car and my OHs deodorant 😂😂😂😂

CharlieB93 · 03/10/2019 08:46

@Moonstone12 oooooh laughing cow cheese! I can’t get enough of babybels at the minute 🥰 and corned beef 🤔😂

ChampooPapi · 03/10/2019 08:47

@facevalue oh for sure at my end nothing beats the 6-8 week torture, from then it's at least manageable, post then it's like you actually have a parasite or food poisoning.

Those days I was very annoyed with the male or the species, men will never understand!

2 others, both girls, third baby for me

OP posts:
Moonstone12 · 03/10/2019 08:49

@CharlieB93 I'm going to have to buy corned beef today as you keep talking about it 😂😂😂

CharlieB93 · 03/10/2019 08:50

@Moonstone12 I think I’m keeping the corned beef suppliers in business this week 😂

Helensss · 03/10/2019 08:54

God sake we’re all going to be on the corned beef soon 😂😂 my symptoms were at peak at week 7, I’m 9 tomorrow and they come and go and are more manageable I think,
Aside from the tiredness, that hasn’t changed!

facevalue · 03/10/2019 08:55

@ChampooPapi awwww lovely. i love girls and i have one. i think it's always going to be harder for the ladies in their first pregnancy and more so if one had MC or MMC. i think it's nice to keep us in check with your sensible suggestions cos you have more experience .

i honestly don't remember feeling much sickness in my last pregnancy and i was not stressed or anxious at all ! odd that i'm more anxious this time - having had a MC last may cruel human brain eh 😂😂😂

Lifesforlivingandloving · 03/10/2019 08:56

@CharlieB93
My symptoms come and go now. I'm 9+6
Apparently it's normal
But I also worry x it's difficult isn't it

I felt fine all day yesterday and was thinking why do I feel normal .... come 6 o'clock tho I felt so sick again x
