A shiny new thread for our May mum's.

A big thank you to @Shak19 for setting up the original thread, you started this group and we are all so grateful for that.

Here we go, month three in the pregnancy journey 👣

Some days I wake up with symptoms and some days I don’t. I spoke to my midwife about it and she said it’s completely normal ☺️ I freaked out loads when this happened but I’m much more chill now as I saw baby yesterday so I know the rush and lack of symptoms come and go. I’m 6+1 based on scan but 7+3 based on my calculations x

@Helensss fat chance! everytime i read cornedbeef i'm 🤢🤢🤢 . i'm off all poultry meat - fish i think is ok for now. i'm visiting a friend tomorrow and she said " i'm cooking chicken" 😢😢😢😢 i’m not sure how to say no meat - what's my reason ? i don't want to lie but we r not telling until after 12 week scan 😥 HELPPPP

Morning ladies,
Been and had my 2nd bloods done. Now, we wait... 😣
Still brown spotting, still yucky bits, still crampy on and off. Boobs a little tender on and off. Bit tired, but not sleeping. Other than that, no symptoms. But I'm only 5+5 (All being well) so still way early compared to some of you.
Hopefully, in a backward I've get the 🤢 to come still 😂
Keep your pinkies crossed for me ladies xx

The phlebotomist told me I can ring for my results at 5:30 today. I'm expecting a call tomorrow at 9am from the nurse I saw Monday.
I don't know whether to ring early or not. I wana get it over with but I also don't wana breakdown at work either as they know nothing!

I’m 7 weeks tomorrow and had absolutely no sickness which is really worrying me! My boobs were very sore yesterday but seem better today! I have my 2nd early scan tomorrow to see if they find a heartbeat! Very scared

@facevalue go with 'trying to eat less animals and poss be veggie? 🤷🏻‍♀️

@facevalue I appreciate that, you are doing really well from the sounds of things, juggling everything like a pro. I can't lie, I'll be glad to see a baby at 12 weeks and not be told I'm just insane and there never was one 😆

It's definitely safe to assume that most if not all women have experienced loss, miscarriage or anxiety and stress surrounding pregnancy and fertility.

It's a really good forum when we all remember that sometimes the quietest voices, or the people who post the least, may need the most support. Although of course that's not a hard and fast rule.

I'm going to go through the old thread and try and hashtag the posters we haven't heard from in a while.

And @Shak19, where you at girl!

@Wishful30 oh babe. it's like being stuck between a wall and rock. what can you do? i probably would wait for tomorrow they might call you with good news anyway! you definitely need a massive hug x eat chocolate or something comforting ( not alcohol 😭)

@hollyjeanh awww so stressful. but it's booked and all you can do is keep busy. you will see we ALL had fluctuating symptoms some better days x please don't jump to any conclusions . fingers crossed for the scan

@facevalue and I was so sure on my way home from holiday af was playing tricks on me, as I'd started spotting before the flight, I've now got a litre of captain Morgan's sitting in the kitchen unopened 🤣

@Wishful30 stop it! it's not over until the fat lady sings. let captain morgan sail away into a cupboard for 8 months x

I watched Ruth Crilly's (from a Model Recommends) pregnancy journal on her uphill channel on Youtube, and it made me feel loads better to see that she was anxious and worried about the same things I am. I find it so helpful to know that I am not the only one worried about every symptom (or lack of symptoms).

@Wishful30 best of luck for your results, this time tomorrow we will both have our results! Going to see Judy at the cinema with my sister and daughter today to take my mind of it! Xx

I had my booking appointment on Monday which was good - feels even more real now ! I have my 12 week scan on 21st of October which I'm super excited about ... also a little nervous but I think that's normal!

How far along are you now ? X

Morning everyone... I was waiting until I was 6 weeks to join this thread, which is today (according to LMP anyway) .. I already have a 19 month old DD and was so excited about this new addition due date 28th of May.

Unfortunately I got back from the park yesterday and discovered I was bleeding .. it’s continued on all afternoon/evening and this morning when I wipe although I’ve not had any terrible cramping so my heads all over the place . I’ve managed to get a gp appointment for later this morning so I’m hoping that they might be able to refer me to the epu.

Please wish me luck, I’ve followed the whole of the first thread and know there are other ladies in such uncertainty too... I hope everyone manages to have a relatively peaceful day
