My dp thought I was off my head with the amount of chewing gum I picked up in the shop yesterday. On a positive note my nausea seems to have pretty much gone, I mean it will likely reappear but I'm enjoying it's current absence!

How far along are you easterbuns? Mine seems to be going too. It’s only dirty dishes effecting me really now. Made ribs last night and the food was great whilst eating it but couldn’t walk in the kitchen after.

@Karigan195 9+4 going by lmp but I think I'm actually 10 weeks as I ovulated early. Scan on Wednesday so should know better then hopefully.

I can barely brush my teeth still! Only time I am guaranteed to gag/be sick is teeth cleaning. I can do about 20 seconds and then it all goes to pot. My poor teeth!

I was also sick doing cat litter tray again today - DH keeps forgetting it in the mornings and we have 3 cats so it has to be done twice a day minimum.

Not sickness any other time - just certain smells. Clean dishwasher being one weirdly and the kitchen bin.

Food is fine apart from carrots (I normally love carrots). Tap water tastes vile to me though at the moment which is inconvenient as having to buy bottled again which I had stopped doing in favour of refillable. Squash tastes funny too- only thing that tastes right is apple juice or Tango or Lucozade, not ideal when you can't clean your teeth....

Glad it’s not just me with the weird taste!

I’ve gone off sweet food - the aftertaste is worse after sugary things than savoury which is a bonus as it’s keeping my weight in check!

Still have a really achey back too but scan tomorrow so will make sure I mention it. I’m sick with worry but also excited to hopefully see my tiny bubba! Who else has scans this week?

My scan is tomorrow too. I’m excited to see the baby but mostly so I can spread the news and people understand why I’m a bit useless just now

Are these 12 week scans?

I am also suffering with the horrendous taste in my mouth - I'm wondering if it's acid? Either way am phoning the doctors tomorrow to try and get some strong anti acid tablets and probably another type of anti emetics too as the sickness is really ramping up!

Yeah, 12 week scan for me. Although I think I’m a bit less than that - long cycles!

Same for me @stroan I’m fully expecting to be put back a week as I have 5 week cycles. One more sleep for us!

Can’t believe it’s 12 week scan time already for some of us! I’m only 8 weeks so that feels ages away at the moment

I know laBelle I'm just 7 weeks! A month is a long tine I guess. This time next month it'll be us!

Eek wow good luck to everyone having their 12 week scans :-) I’ve got mine next Monday, hoping the week goes quickly!

As a side note - if anyone had the combined testing done at their 12 week scan in a previous pregnancy can you remember how long the results took or when you heard from the midwife?

I've a scan on Wednesday but it's an early one, dating one not til 1st of March.

I have slightly sore, achy legs after doing absolutely nothing! No exercise or out of the ordinary movement. Is this a weird pregnancy thing? Feel a bit like a mild leg day at the gym!

I’m 8 weeks and my anti sickness wrist bands have saved my life over the last week :)

I've had to buy gaviscon today, didn't expect to have heartburn this early.

Got the phone number for the midwife from my docs today because I haven't heard from her about a booking appointment. Called it and she's on annual leave until Monday so left a message. I don't mind not having the booking appointment yet I just don't want to be forgotten about for the scan! There's also a chance I'd have to change the scan date when it comes through because there's nobody to have DD on a Monday or Tuesday so I'm itching to get it sorted! (Under 16s are not allowed in the scan room at our hospital)

I’ve got a scan tomorrow too. 11 weeks and having the NIPT at the same time. Really anxious. Good luck everyone xx

Headache gone thankfully! Looking firward to a good sleep.
I have my scan tomorrow at 2.30 hoping all Is ok and that i can find out more about my bicornuate uterus. Think I'll be 11+4 though not 12 however shouldn't matter much.

Good luck at all the scans. I've still got 3.5 weeks which seems forever away!
tefiti I got my combined test results at my 16 weeks appt last time. I know if you get a high risk result then they contact you sooner.
