Hah...by the time we all start popping in earnest it'll be sleepless nights all round anyway, and the ones that have already popped will be up feeding so middle of night not an issue here!

foxybrown · 16/05/2007 14:51

Im off to play snakes and ladders

hollyandalice · 16/05/2007 14:51

I think I'll be taking my mobile and the laptop to bed with me from now on, just in case!

DaisysGotABigBump · 16/05/2007 14:52

these are good......we could have baby races!!

hollyandalice · 16/05/2007 14:53

Dp wants the pint and half pint t-shirts. He saw them in a mag a while ago and he really wants them!

hollyandalice · 16/05/2007 15:03

foxybrown · 16/05/2007 15:06

fannyannie · 16/05/2007 15:08

ooo conrgrats NannyJo

BadZelda · 16/05/2007 15:20

Got to love brixton market. 3 towels, 2 shower curtains and 1 king sized fitted sheet for a tenner. (I foolishly got rid of all my 'old' linen on my last clearout because our only real storage space is a rather mouldy cellar). Was SOOO looking forward to my jerk chicken treat only to discover the bastards chopped it up so it's full of shards of chicken bone...urggghhhhh. Now I know carribbean people love to suck the marrow out, so that's prolly why they did it, but really puts me off ;( Oh well!

Any news yet?

hollyandalice · 16/05/2007 15:31

I've just found this website about labour induction and apparently evening primrose can be taken orally! Hooray! I was not too confident about finding my cervix!

Great bargains bz, but that chicken sounds nasty! Who eats chicken bone? Surely that's quite dangerous!

riabutterflew · 16/05/2007 15:48

Thanks for the text buddy Holly. You're a star.

Hope you remembered to collect your kids foxy.

I am feeling smug (again, must stop it as will end in tears) as there is shiny clean floor in DS1s room, all the furniture is polished and he is now in there sorting out the last of the toys and putting them away, and then sorting out his pens and pencils and tidying his desk. (I know it will all go horribly wrong somewhere...) Another 4 carriers of rubbish (god knows where that came from as there was at least that many the other week!) and two of paper recycling.
Typical, as I type he has come downstairs to wander about asking pointless questions with his hands in his pockets and stand in front of the TV with his mouth open, stalling...

riabutterflew · 16/05/2007 15:52

All this talk of labour makes me feel relieved and guilty at the same time about the last two. You don't realise how awful it can be really and how lucky you are (even though it doesn't always feel like it at the time).

Good luck to everyone and just remember that you can only make decisions for YOU and not to please anyone else.

Hope that sounds as I intended it and not patronising!

derlor · 16/05/2007 16:01

prepare yourselves i'm NOT happy today -

fuck fuck fuckedeeefuckfuck
just back from physio with my new support belt and......fucking crutches(FC)!!!!!! i have raging SPD and now have a list of DON'Ts as long as my FC to adhere to for the rest of this pregnancy!!!!!!
i was grumpy already - now i'm just upset and VERY pissed off. (DS however LOVES my FC and keeps knicking them to play with)

i'm off now for a lie down and another cry probably - will check back in later x
Holly thanks for sorting out the text buddy - Foxy i better be calling you soon!!!!!!!!

NattyThomasandEllen · 16/05/2007 16:04

anyone around?

DaisysGotABigBump · 16/05/2007 16:09

Derlor and (pissed off) for you in equal measure. Having had some pelvic pain throughout I can imagine what you're going through, although SPD is supposed to be horrible and what I've had is nothing in comparison.

Fingers crossed for a speedy onset of labour.

DaisysGotABigBump · 16/05/2007 16:09

hi Natty....

foxybrown · 16/05/2007 16:10

That is shit, Derlor.

Seansfatlass · 16/05/2007 16:10

Derlor! ouch ouch ouch! Hope you're putting your feet up and having a rest

Daisy - My top saviour and shopper first class is great thanks!

Back later am off to bake cakes with DD

NattyThomasandEllen · 16/05/2007 16:10

foxybrown · 16/05/2007 16:11

That is shit Natty. How small? You are one of the first due, aren't you?

Are you OK?

NattyThomasandEllen · 16/05/2007 16:12

baby measures 32 weeks and im 38+3... no im not cos they cant scan till next tuesday, i have a whole week to worry something is seriously wrong

DaisysGotABigBump · 16/05/2007 16:13

How small is small Natty....what have they said? Have they done a scan or booked you in for one?

foxybrown · 16/05/2007 16:13

how did they measure it? Tape measure from pelvic bone to top of bump?

DaisysGotABigBump · 16/05/2007 16:14

sorry hun....x-posts. Is everything else OK though? that they can't scan you any sooner.

fannyannie · 16/05/2007 16:14

natty - have you been measuring small throughout (I mean what did you measure at your last few appointments?).

I'm measuring small this time round too (not quite so much as you - about 4 'weeks' out (apparently) but have grown a little bit between appointments..
