Been in bed all afternoon....again...with horrible pelvic pains thanks to my dearest farking twunt of a DH who didn't squish the bathmat down after cleaning the bath....bathmat slides, daisy nearly does the splits, excruciating pains shoot up my fanjo, much screaming at at DH who leaves the house then daisy proceeds to sit naked howling and retching on the bathroom floor for 20 minutes until she feels safe (and pain free) enough to get up.....crawls into bed and has been there since 12:00ish. And when I explained, as politely as I could under the circumstances, that I haven't used the shower today as I can't get in the bath...is he "OMG are you all right?" Is he fuck..all I got was a "D'you need a hand getting in then?" Then he went off on the picnic and left me curled up, howling and miserable.

How is it possible that they can be sooo lovely one day and then the biggest fucking twunt on the planet the next???? I'm seriously thinking divorce is the only option.

foxybrown · 20/05/2007 18:48

Shitty shite, Daisy! That sounds horrid! Hope you are ok xx

DaisysGotABigBump · 20/05/2007 18:53

Cheers Foxy....it's calmed down a bit, but not really what I needed ATM.....now DH and I not talking. It goes from one extreme to the other in this house.

Lilkel's gone back to hospital...she's been having bad headaches and is a bit concerned about it.....hope things are OK.

foxybrown · 20/05/2007 18:56

I know what you mean Daisy! I've had a good day today, so feel lucky.

Hope Lilkel is OK.

DaisysGotABigBump · 20/05/2007 19:00

On the positive side, he's cleaned the toilet and is now on the kitchen floor so at least that's something

derlor · 20/05/2007 19:48

evening, well everyone is having lots of aches and pains huh!!!
on a positive note my SPD fanjo pain is much better (crutches must be working after all) however my back is now aching!!!!! bloody typical. Think it may be down to the fact that i don't usually hobble about like the hunchback of notre damn!!
Daisy nightmare re your bath slide hope you OK and feeling better now.
Well last night i broke all the rules of a good pregnant woman by having a glass of wine along with 2 co-codamol and i STRONGLY recommend it to everyone cause for the 1st time in weeks i slept all night (9 hours) and don't think i moved once it was FAB - defo doing THAT again tonight.
Oh and on an even more positive note DH went out and bought me a bottle of JPG perfume today cause he said he is so proud of me

DaisysGotABigBump · 20/05/2007 19:56

LOL Derlor...glad your SPD is improving, but about the back pain...it could be as a result of the way you are moving with the crutches.
IKWYM about the co-codamol....the first time I took 2 it was scarlily like being drunk so I've only been taking one at a time...might try two and a glass of wine tonight and see if that helps me sleep. I'm only managing 1.5 hours at a stretch at the moment and am just so so fed up and grumpy.

DaisysGotABigBump · 20/05/2007 19:57

That was really nice of your DH....

derlor · 20/05/2007 20:00

Go for it Daisy - there is nothing to lose at this stage anyway - i'm just about to ask DH to pour me a large one!!!
if anyone needs to sleep you do - you've not had a decent sleep for ages have you?

DaisysGotABigBump · 20/05/2007 20:06

Last sleep I had that was for more than a two/three hour stretch was over two weeks ago ...can't wait for this to be over....and then i can get back to sleeping for a three/four hour stretch, if I'm lucky

DaisysGotABigBump · 20/05/2007 20:17

We need a new thread title.....
but I'm all out of inspiration this week

lulumama · 20/05/2007 20:18

daisy was i supposed to email you something?

DaisysGotABigBump · 20/05/2007 20:34

Hi Lulu...it was some info on birth plans for elective c-sections....but Mars beat you to it

lulumama · 20/05/2007 20:36

will i be struck off as a doula now !!

glad you got what you need x

DaisysGotABigBump · 20/05/2007 20:43

No worries....I just didn't realise that I had a choice where electives are concerned.....but that baby blanket is a-comin to bed with me every night until the op!!

lulumama · 20/05/2007 20:44

it is still a birth ! your birth, so you can ask for your wishes to be listened to and carried out!

foxybrown · 20/05/2007 20:47

What's that then Daisy? I thought that you because of the sterile environment it was all very limiting! That's very interesting. What can you do?

DaisysGotABigBump · 20/05/2007 20:51

I'll e-mail Mars info to you Foxy....but basically about music choices, bub being wrapped in a blanket that smells of you, quiet in theatre so bub hears your voice first etc.

anyhoo....I've done a new thread, but lack of sleep and general grumpiness as well as on-going "discussions" with DH means that its a bit lacking in inspiration on the title.

NEW and BORING THREAD TITLE .....feel free to start a new one if this is pants!

nannyjo · 23/05/2007 22:17

Hi all,

I was gonna announce the arrival of my bouncy baby boy but it seems it has been done.

Callum is doing really well. The premature birth is not having any negative effects at all which is fantastic!!!

I'm so lucky that i got to 36 weeks and he was a good weight. The fear was that i wouldn't make it to the 34 week stage (anything before has serious concerns) but my bloods were doig brilliantly and there was talk of me getting to 38 but at 35 plus weeks BANG things got bad and the decision was made to induce there and then.

I won't say how the labour was as it won't be what you guys will want to hear right now

Thank you all for your support when i was fretting earlier about my OC and thank you all for your congrats and good wishes i have since received.

Good luck to you all for your forthcoming arrivals

xxx
