I've had a rough couple of days, came down with some awful flu like symptoms and had a raging temperature - went to the doctors today and think i probably have a UTI god do i feel awful. Had to pee in the ridiculously tiny cup, always good.

Think i'm going to book a private scan for next week - my boobs are nowhere near as sore as they were so am a little worried. Hope everyone has good news from their scans!

Just marking my place, @whyhastherumgone that sounds awful, poor you 😣 rest up!! I'm sure the lack of boob hurt (lol) is fine, but good luck for next week if you do book a scan 😊
I've got a viability scan tomorrow morning.. just want to get it out the way so I don't need to be anxious!

I've got a scan in about an hour and I'm so nervous I feel sick. I'm going by myself too as my DH has his first day of a new job......

Good luck to everyone with scans today! Wow, part 3 already!

I have my Booking in appointment tomorrow, looking forward to it although it is the same midwife I had with DC1 and I am not overly keen but hey ho. We have booked a private scan for 2 weeks time for reassurance before telling some more family. Roll on 2 weeks!

Has anyone started showing if this isn't your first child? I keep thinking I am showing a bit but may just be paranoid I heard you can show earlier with your 2nd...

The tiredness is definitely kicking in, going to have a nap shortly when DD does.

Thanks for the new thread! Hope there's good news from the scans. I'm debating getting a private early scan this time round. Last time I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks, although I had spotting for about 5 days before it happened so I think something went wrong sometime around the end of week 7.

I'm currently 6+1 and not as anxious as I thought I'd be, but I keep wondering about getting a scan next week. Those of you who have, has it made you more or less anxious? And would I even see much at 6/7 weeks or is it just a bit of a waste of money really? My thinking is what will be will be, and I can't do anything if it is going to end badly, but then would reassurance help me feel a bit more positive about this pregnancy? That's a bit of a ramble but any thoughts or advice would be really helpful.

Yes, I showed much earlier with my second. Everyone had guessed by 10 weeks! I'm 7 weeks now with 3rd and you wouldn't know yet...

I've just gotten my scan date, it will be on 29/08 when I'll be 12+5. It's a bit further away than I thought it would be but I am really excited!

I feel exhausted today, it's still my only symptom really. I had at least 9 hours sleep last night but keep having weird dreams which I don't think is helping.

Going out tonight with girls for a meal, right now I just want to cancel because I just know tomorrow is going to be even harder to stay awake! Roll on the weekend and afternoon naps!

It showed up @pusscous, that talk about afternoon naps I had a surge of jealously. Though you did well with the Californians to keep the secret. I keep almost telling my boss because I just want to go home to bed.

I've arranged my booking in appointment now so it is all starting to feel a bit more real. Over a fortnight to wait for it though which feels ages away!

@hometownunicorn - I had a scan at 6 weeks at my fertility clinic, they do them as standards. At 6 weeks and certainly 7, you'll be able to see the heartbeat flashing and they'll be able to measure the sac and bean and check things are on track. They also give you a little picture

Oh and @hometownunicorn - I was, and still am pretty anxious but it did lessen my anxiety. Obviously it's no guarantee that everything will be okay 5 weeks later at the 12 week scan though❤️

One tiny fuzzy bean on USS. I'm a few days ahead of what I thought so my EDD is 28th Feb. Drank way too much water and the sonographer made me empty half of my bladder. Got another scan in 3 weeks for nuchal as too early today.

Had my call from the doctor this morning, my white blood cell count is raised, so while I'm in tomorrow they will investigate for infection. Hopefully it's easy enough to sort.

Scan went well today measuring a day ahead today so 8 +1 weeks. I think I'll wait and see at my 12 week scan though for the 'official' due date. I'm starting to get excited now. We got a picture today so it feels real. I'm calling my gphone tomorrow to finally register with a midwife. I've been putting it off until now not to tempt fate!

Hope my scan buddy zyla went ok today with her scan!

Scan all good! Heartbeat measuring 168bpm and I've moved forward a few days to 8+2 by today's measurement, though I think I'll stick with my dates of 7+6 until the 12 week scan :)
I'll probably be calm for maybe 2 days now?! 😂😂

Hometown I had a scan at 8+5 this time. It was reassuring to see the heartbeat, but felt a bit of an anticlimax other than that and hasn't provided any longer term reassurance. It was £89 and lasted literally 5 minutes! It was nice to get a couple of pictures, but really was just a blob with a bigger head blob!

Excited I told my boss yesterday. After my mc earlier this year, it didn't really come as a surprise! But already feel better at work because of it.

Sorry, I'm crap at keeping up with people. Need to update the list of people. Would people be ok with a google docs type thing so we can add/change due dates other info as we go along...? (As I'm too knackered to do it manually, my good intentions were not practical!)

Googledocs sounds good, that way everyone can maintain details for themselves.

Hi everyone, just checking in on the new thread. Been feeling ok recently which obviously worries me, even though I should be thankful I don't have sickness like some of you!

Our private scan is a week today and we're both off work next week so wishing the next two days of work away 🙂.

I also look forward to every Thursday when my Ovia app updates me on the latest embryo size comparison! 7 weeks tomorrow, but each day really really drags...
