Hi, Just thought I would start this before we ran out of space on part 2 and we all got lost again :-)

I'm eating awfully, all white carbs - cheese on toast, hula hoops, pasta and chips (anything savoury)! I also need to eat near on constantly to not feel sick/dizzy, however I'm sure you're not supposed to put much weight on until like week 20!

Had a rough couple of nights feeling really sick/bloated and waking up at 1am and then again at 5am. Hoping it was due to what I ate and won't be a regular thing as the same happened the first week I found out I was pregnant.

Still off work and I started throwing up again today. I went to GP accross the road after managing some water and bread and my numbers are ok (bp, temperature, etc) so hopefully won't need to go back in.

I feel so defeated to be honest... I love the little one so much already and feeling like this means all is going ok but I want the nausea and vomiting to stop so I can get on with things. I want to be able to do the dishes, to go back to work... I feel like my body is letting me down.
Anyway, just needed to get it off my chest.

Checking in to thread #3, after a few busy days with family. Same old same old here - awaiting booking in appointment a week on Monday (on about the last possible day according to dates, because of childcare issues), still got minor nausea best relieved by biscuits, boobs still excruciating, still want to sleep 20hrs a day, meh...

Also still compulsively pants checking - early pregnancy is as anxiety-inducing as it is tedious!

Sorry to hear you have vomiting again @OrangeCloud, it must be feeling like such a long first trimester for you. I hope you start to feel better soon.

Lol I'm away for a day and have 6 pages to catch up on lol I better get reading :)

I'm very sick too.
Thinking of buying these to keep a check on ketones ect.
Luckily I can eat and drink.. I'm not sick instantly it takes about half and hour or more before i throw up. My body must be getting some nutrients.. well i hope!

Oh Orange that sounds so tough. I really hope it eases soon for you.

I am so tired and suffering with insomnia, but otherwise little in the way of symptoms at the moment.

I got stuck in the bathroom last night because the door handle was half off and I hadn't realised. I'd gone to bed early because I was so tired and my partner didn't hear his phone for over half an hour. Having screamed myself hoarse, I made a little bed out of a dressing gown and towels and spent the rest of the time lying there sobbing. I'm so sick of these part-done house jobs, it's driving me crazy, I can't seem to get my partner to just finish anything, he always starts another before the last ten are finished.

@Excited1203 poor you, that sounds really horrible. Is there a lot to do on your house?

Had my early scan and all is well, there's a little heartbeat and the size matches up with my dates. Phew. Will try to hold on till 12 weeks now.

That's good news on your scan @hometownunicorn, hopefully you can now enjoy days when you don't feel sick! There is a lot to do on our house; painting all of it, new floors, fixing cupboards, etc. Which wouldn't be too bad if he did one task at a time, it's the mess of half done tasks that's awful.

Oh no Excited, how stressful. Better that happen now than later on I guess as hopefully it'll be the push you need to get the job finished.

That's exciting, hometown, do you feel like it's more real now?

Thanks for the scan congrats. I feel a bit less worried that it's all going wrong again but that will probably only last a few days. Going to try not to worry unless I start bleeding now (probably easier said than done)

@Excited1203 - surely the fact that you got stuck in the bathroom for so long will spur him on to fix that, at least?! (I got stuck in a hotel bathroom when I was three, so I have a phobia about it now. I think I'd have had a full blown panic attack if I'd got stuck in a bathroom with pregnancy hormones running through my veins!)

Unicorn - congrats. I hope you manage to keep your peace of mind. :)

@BlueeSpottyTiger yup my left is ok but at times when he latches to my right its agony on my nipple. Doesn't help that he seems to have increased his feeding too.

Thanks all. There isn't much that I can do because I can't go near wet paint, filler or other solvents because of the miscarriage risk. So various tasks end up stuck waiting for him to fill / paint / whatever. The bathroom door should be fixable tomorrow I hope, he did the filler today. There is just so much painting to do, it's exhausting to think about it all and I'm not even doing it.

Sorry excited I must've missed your post earlier. That must've been horrible being stuck in there, hope he gets a kick up the bum to get on and get it all fixed!
