I got halfway through sorting out all my clothes at the weekend! Need to finish it this weekend. Feels good to get something useful done, I've basically been lazy/procrastinating for EVER and starting to stress that we still have loads to sort out before the baby comes Confused

NameChange30 · 29/09/2016 21:28

Little Hello and welcome! Smile

charlybs · 29/09/2016 21:41

Welcome pear!

I couldn't believe how much stuff I had to pack away. I haven't even done all my clothes yet, clinging on to some of it just so I have something left in my wardrobe haha. But all my floaty dresses (that I thought would be fine) are already dead tight across the bust. Damn you, growing boobs!

LittlePear91 · 29/09/2016 21:57

My already-too-big-for-my-frame boobs are growing too!! And I'm not really showing in normal clothes yet so I don't think many people actual believe I'm preggers haha!

Looking forward to a snuggly winter wardrobe for a bump though- this is our first baby so it's all new! ...and basically a good excuse to go shopping Wink

LittlePear91 · 29/09/2016 22:00

And thank you for all the welcomes! Grin

charlybs · 30/09/2016 08:47

So glad we're going to be most pregnant during winter. I assume it's easier than sweating away through summer! Just have to be careful not to slip on ice. ARGH I just realised no ice skating at Christmas haha.

Anyone else keep realising things they can't do? Also: mulled wine is still upsetting me haha

If I call it a craving is it ok to go out at lunchtime and go to a takeaway purely for chips?

Cloeycat · 30/09/2016 10:32

Yes Charly... trampolining. Not an activity I ever partake in but I was recently told it's something I can't do at the moment... it made me sadder then it should given I haven't been near a trampoline since about 2009!

Carolann8584 · 30/09/2016 10:46

We are off to New York in November, the ice rink will be up by then so I won't be able to have a go (was never very good)

We have an annual conference at work, I missed this years as I started the month after. The next one is in January, will be 32 weeks, can't confirm I can go until nearer the time and hope I still have a low risk pregnancy. To make matters worse I've been asked to book all the travel and accommodation for everyone.

Feeling very nauseous again today, waved goodbye to my brekkie down the porcelain express before I left for work today.

Cloey definitely, its want your beany wants Smile

x

Butterpuff · 30/09/2016 11:25

Ah, no to returning nausea. Hate that.

Just back from 16 week VBAC appointment. Looks like I'm going to be a ELCS with our complications and previous failed Labour. But listebed to babies heart beat. Sounded like a train but I can't remember if that means boy or girl. Grin

I cant remember what she said about the speed of the heartbeat now Hugh! I just thought it sounded like a train!!

Dozygirl · 30/09/2016 22:03

Was invited to go to a theme park next week but can't do that now I'm preggo. Surely you can trampoline though? It's only bouncing a bit, unless you were planning to do olympic trampolining and lots of somersaults 😂
Might go to the local water park instead. I'm sure I can do gentle slides. Nothing too crazy.

NameChange30 · 30/09/2016 22:28

Had a spa day and it was a bit frustrating. Didn't want to risk using the jacuzzi, sauna or steam room so I couldn't do much apart from swim or read my book! The loungers were uncomfortable as well Sad Masssage was ok but couldn't have any aromatherapy oils. So the whole day felt a bit of a second-class experience.

I had to use up a voucher before it expired, otherwise I wouldn't have done it while pregnant.

Bastards wanted to charge us to extend the voucher.

neonrainbow · 30/09/2016 23:09

My heartbeats were 150 but they're both boys :)

HerRoyalNotness · 30/09/2016 23:23

Just popping in to say hi, I'll add myself to spreadsheet later.

Currently 14 weeks, due 30 March, but most likely will have a CS so she'll be born 23 March, fingers crossed.

This is DC4, we have 2 DSs and had a DD 2 yrs ago, but sadly she was a micro preemie and we lost her at 2wo. The boys', we'll all of us really, are chuffed to be having another DD.

So hoping everything goes well for me, all normal so far, and for all of you!

NameChange30 · 30/09/2016 23:27

HerRoyal
Hi and congratulations on your pregnancy!
Sorry for your loss Flowers I hope this pregnancy goes as smoothly as possible for you x

HerRoyalNotness · 01/10/2016 00:38

Thanks!

Interestingly DDs heartbeat was 160-165 on the early scans. so maybe there is something in it

As an aside, has anyone found good thick maternity leggings? I see them around but most reviews say they're thin, partly see through. I'm starting to pop already, and have ordered some bits, but need some comfy home clothes.

BeccaSays · 01/10/2016 07:53

Hi herroyal! I'm picking up some maternity leggings from Asda this weekend so I'll let you know if they're any good. The reviews were positive...

I'm getting bad vpl too so was wondering about mat knickers. Is it just me who is feeling the cold at the moment? My stomach particularly always feels cold!

charlybs · 01/10/2016 09:17

Namechange can't believe they couldn't use any of the oils on you. Sign of a crap masseuse - my mum is one and there's only like, 3 oils you have to avoid Hmm
