To be fair i would cry if my milk on my cereal was warm too!

neonrainbow · 27/09/2016 18:10

My Chinese gender predictor said boy so it was correct :)

charlybs · 27/09/2016 18:15

Haha neon thanks!

I just did the predictor and it said girl. Everyone and their dog so far has said boy... We'll see!

SpanielLedWeaning · 27/09/2016 21:40

Predictor says girl for me. I'll let you know if it's right in 3 weeks time hopefully!

Dozygirl · 27/09/2016 21:57

Predictor says girl for me. Only 3 weeks to find out if it's true. I keep having boy dreams though. But I also can't imagine having a boy.

Dusty sorry to hear about your gtt results. Hopefully as you've had it before , you know what to expect and how to keep it controlled.

Apart from the tiredness and the round ligament pain when I sneezed I wouldnt say I feel pregnant at all. I was like this last time though. Until I get really big I just feel normal. No obvious signs of looking pregnant either, just fat haha. I'm making the most of still being able to do everything like pick things up off the floor and shave my fanjob easily haha.

Butterpuff · 27/09/2016 22:11

Thanks for the new thread.

Anyone feeling movement at the moment? I think I've felt a flutter or two this week.

NameChange30 · 27/09/2016 22:13

Butter No, not feeling any movement yet Sad I know it's still early days but I keep hoping to notice something!

Cloeycat · 27/09/2016 22:21

Gender predictor says boy, nun theory from 12 week scan girl. Probably not going to find out at scan even though I really want to cos DP doesn't want... 😢

neonrainbow · 27/09/2016 23:06

I've felt a lot of movement from both babies so far but i am 18 weeks tomorrow so a bit further ahead.

charlybs · 28/09/2016 07:13

Haha dozy you're right** I think we should be enjoying this period of relatively no symptoms before we get too big to function!

I've felt lil shrimp twice I think but they're not the wrigglest. I had to be lying on the sofa and daydreaming to notice as well as its quite faint.

It's totally normal not to feel anything until about 20 weeks so I was so ready to put it down as wind if it hadn't felt different!

OP posts:
NameChange30 · 28/09/2016 07:39

neon I'm 18+2 today! EDD 27/02 so a bit further ahead than most. Here's hoping I start feeling movements in the next week or so.

neonrainbow · 28/09/2016 08:19

That's weird i must be 18+3 then as my due date is 26/2 ... but i won't be going past 38 weeks so i should be having them around 12/2.

neonrainbow · 28/09/2016 08:20

Oh yeah .. I've been going by my ovia app and hadn't updated my due date. I am 18+3.

ahsan · 28/09/2016 08:29

charlybs Found that funny what you were saying about bursting into tears because your milk wasn't cold lol. With me I cry all day like a baby some days. I checked again the Chinese calendar and its predicting a boy so I guess I'll see as having my scan in November. How many mummies here having their scans in November. It's at 8:50 though 😩 God knows how I'm going to have a full bladder at that time when I don't drink or eat till at least 10.

charlybs · 28/09/2016 08:52

Ahsan yea I'm being totally ridiculous at the mo, DH is handling it admirably lol.

My scan is 26 October so a little bit earlier. I guess just drink some water when you wake up early? I drink half a glass before bed and always need to go in the morning.

OP posts:
NameChange30 · 28/09/2016 08:53

ahsan Some people have put their 20w scan dates in the spreadsheet, not everyone but quite a few have scans in November.
Mine is 14 Oct, 2 weeks and 2 days to go! Smile

Butterpuff · 28/09/2016 08:57

ashan I don't think the full bladder is as important at your 20wk scan as babies are so much bigger they are easier to find. I didn't drink anything for mine last time (and to be honest I drank less and less with each scan I've had so far when baby was under 14 weeks and they found it every time.

I was expecting dusty and neon to have felt something as they have so many limbs inside them!

Last time I felt nothing until well after 20 weeks but had an anterior placenta which makes feeling movement harder. This time its posterior and its a second baby so I was expecting earlier and think I've felt a little bubble.

I haven't had my next scan letter though yet. But I'm guessing it will be November.

rbucz · 28/09/2016 09:36

Ahsan my scan letter says I don't need full bladder, just medium, so I guess I'll just avoid weeing immediately before.

Mine's 7th Nov, in the morning, seems ages away.

Carolann8584 · 28/09/2016 10:33

Mines the 1st at 1:10pm, can't wait feels ages away, still can't get my head around the fact I've been pregnant 16 weeks tomorrow Smile

ahsan · 28/09/2016 10:34

Yes I agree rbucz it does seem ages away.I got my scan at 22 weeks so alittle late. charlybs Yes everyone has to put up with it lol. Feel sorry for my kids lol. Thanks namechanger for that advise :) will be 22 weeks so should be fine :)

Cloeycat · 28/09/2016 11:20

Didn't realize the 14th was just over 2 weeks away now, I've had 3 weeks in my head. I'm so excited/nervous for this scan! I don't know how I haven't cracked and booked a private one I'm so anxious that something's wrong.

Dustycorners · 28/09/2016 14:52

Despite there being 8 limbs in there, I'm only feeling movement sporadically. When the mw was searching for the heartbeats yesterday there were lots of sounds made by them moving, but I couldn't feel a thing. I think the anterior placenta really masks a lot.

LightTripper · 28/09/2016 15:09

I think with my DD I wasn't sure I felt anything until about 17wks. This time I've got an anterior placenta, and the last sonographer said it would probably be after 20wks before I feel anything. Feel a bit sad I might not have all those little butterfly feelings from last time, but anyway, as long as the placenta does its job that's OK!
