A thread for all of us who have very recently discovered we're upduffed, with a due date of the achingly-long-away February 2017. It's early days for us all so there's lots of good news, sad news, sage advice and never-too-silly questions.

Second thread already! First is here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/2642653-Due-in-February-2017?

Sorry to hear that Spin, hope ur not working today. X

twocats I'm also looking way more pg than last time. Tried on some 'over bump' trousers at the weekend & they weren't even baggy! Am going to tell my boss today (I'm pretty sure he's noticed anyway as he keeps checking out my stomach). Also, I keep being sick in my mouth when I'm talking to people & they definitely notice....I've been asked if I'm ok a few times, I must look terrible.

Lucy1308 · 27/06/2016 09:22

My brown discharge is most definitely trauma related. After having sex again (what is WRONG with me at the moment?! I can't stop!!) I've got yet more brown discharge. No pink or red in it at all, definitely just brown. So I'm guessing my cervix is as prone to bleeding as my bloody nose is!! Makes sense that it would be I suppose... Anyway scan on Sunday so I'm not going to go back to the doctors until we've had that. If scan is all good then I will just keep an eye and keep fingers crossed for no red stuff!!

Sore nipples are back, no nausea yet but a cracking headache!!

FlyingSpaghettiM0nster · 27/06/2016 09:25

Oh Spin I really do hope the bleeding is for a harmless reason. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you Flowers

Lucy1308 · 27/06/2016 09:41

Sorry spin I missed your post! I hope you get some answers. Fingers crossed for you! Flowers

SpinALittleFaster · 27/06/2016 09:59

Thanks ladies x
Just heard back from my midwife and the earliest the epu can see me is Thursday. I can call back if it gets worse but otherwise just hang tight until then. I'm not working for the next couple of days but that means I've got to run after a toddler instead.

LondonGirl83 · 27/06/2016 10:25

Spin that's tough that you can't get a scan until Thursday. I hope its just a harmless bleed, which seems so common.

I'm 6+2 and am having my first day of serious nausea. I feel truly awful. I was praying to get nausea at 6 weeks to feel more reassured but got this is pretty rough.

What are you ladies doing to cope?

I have been afraid to have sex for the last two weeks since I found out we were expecting. My DH is getting increasingly annoyed. I think once I hopefully see the heartbeat during the scan on Saturday I will relax and shag like normal again :)

Hazandduck · 27/06/2016 10:39

So sorry to hear that spin, crossing everything is ok for you.

Londongirl tell me about it I am normally quite Erm...keen haha and get stroppy if it's been a couple of days but since I found out 3-4 weeks ago I have only had sex twice because I am so scared of causing a miscarriage! I know I'm being silly but I can't help it!

I am also feeling good physically which worries me, I keep thinking at our early scan tomorrow I'll be told I imagined the whole thing!

itslittlek I was the Doppler lady haha. I haven't dared to listen since but got a gallopy sound at 8weeks+2. So nervous for my scan tomorrow xx

SpinALittleFaster · 27/06/2016 10:42

I hope so London. I had bleeding on and off for the first 12 weeks with DD but it still freaks me out. I'm high risk for a bunch of reasons too this time round so that's not helping. Just need to sit tight.

I've been lucky not to have morning sickness. It's the bloodhound sense of smell that gets me. Just try to eat when you feel up to it and stay well away from anything with a strong smell if you can x

Lucy1308 · 27/06/2016 10:44

I'm shagging like normal (maybe more than normal?!) on the basis that it's not going to harm the baby and it stops me wanting to harm OH quite so much when I'm having a wingey day!! It has definitely aggravated the brown discharge though so may have to abstain for a while to let things settle down. Famine or feast in this house at the moment!!

Evergreen17 · 27/06/2016 11:26

Ceecee how are you doing with the spotting? Remember it seems to be quite common here
Spin sorry you have to wait until Thursday. It seems that it is all about waiting. TTC wait, early pregnancy wait... Very frustrating.
London I had sex for the first time on Saturday. It felt very tight ConfusedConfusedConfused
Not bad though Grin

Evergreen17 · 27/06/2016 11:27

6 + 5 no nausea
Sore boobs though and lots of sleeping

Three days for scan. Counting the seconds

HighSparrow · 27/06/2016 11:55

Some severe nausea today!
Sore boobs ongoing
Very tired all of the time!!

Just catching up with everyone's posts as I've been awol for the last few days

Evergreen17 · 27/06/2016 11:58
Envy Just got a call from Surgery saying they used the wrong tube for my blood test count at midwife appointment so now I had to get another appointment for test This is great as already had a lecture from manager regarding so many appointments AngryAngry For someone with anxiety this is not great And to top that, the next appointment for blood test they could give me is on the 25th of July Confused Honestly. A month from now

Hoping this is not an urgent blood test then

Scarydinosaurs · 27/06/2016 12:00

ever that is ridiculous! Could you call back and arrange blood test at hospital instead? Mine does late night and evening tests to avoid taking time off work?

Evergreen17 · 27/06/2016 12:11

Scary I dont know!
The hospital is quite a long way for me without a car and I wouldn't know whom to call about it? Blush
I will be 10+5 for the new blood test appointment so maybe not the end of the world but I might call the midwives next week after scan and ask them what they think I should do. And if mw thinks I should get them sooner I am sure she will help me get an appointment?
Just annoying honestly

Kellz92 · 27/06/2016 12:12

Hey all, been off of here for a few days.

Hope you all had a good weekend

High & Hope I have everything crossed for both of you

I have been really struggling with sickness again (even with the tablets) just need to try graze and ill be fine but im struggling because i have zero appetite and everything i like is tasting different.

Im also struggling with tiredness. :(

See my mw for booking in appt on Thursday and then we have the second early scan on Saturday, Private one this time.

Hope youre all ok xxx

FriendlyGhost · 27/06/2016 13:00

Hope you're ok Spin and that it's nothing serious.
I can't believe some of you have found the energy to dtd! We only ever have time at weekends and if dd decides to sleep in but I felt too rough this weekend and chose sleep.
I'm feeling so sick at the moment. I'm finding sipping sparkling water helps for some reason. I'm hungry but feel worse every time I eat so just sticking to small snacks. After my problem last week of being bunged up I now have the opposite problem. Had to run to the loo a couple of times yesterday. Has anyone else had this? I'm having another silly panic that it's a bad sign.

CeeCeeEnnEss · 27/06/2016 13:00

Spotting seems to have abated for now but I'm getting quite a lot of pain around my stomach and pelvis. Wonder if some of it is gas/greedypigness.

Don't know how any of you can be arsed to have sex!

Lucy1308 · 27/06/2016 13:15

Anyone else's nipples behaving in a strange manner? Mine seem to enjoy pointing straight up at the moment... I thought they weren't sore any more until I rolled over in bed and one of my nipples caught on my arm (please don't try to imagine me doing this... I didn't know it was possible either!) and it made me say "ouch! Fucker!" So I guess they must be wuite sore still...

Cracking headache is still here. No paracetamol at work either!! Bloody typical!!

I want it to be Sunday already...

Bubs33 · 27/06/2016 13:24

Omg I've done that several times and it hurts like hell. My boobs are killing and they are enormous, I was a 34GG before!!! Nightmare. Swear they weren't this big with my other two! Shock

Kellz92 · 27/06/2016 13:44

Lucy my nipples are really sore! its ridiculous, also they are massive!! xx

LondonGirl83 · 27/06/2016 14:33

friendly I've definitely had my fair share of diarreah (sorry too tired to think of clever euphemism 😀)

I seem to go between that and constipation. Pregnancy is lovely!

LondonGirl83 · 27/06/2016 15:06

Evergreen being tight sounds like something nice to look forward to on Saturday (assuming scan goes well)!

Scarydinosaurs · 27/06/2016 15:54

ever did your GP give you a blood test form? If you read it there should be a list of places you can have it done on there?

Could you not get it done the same day as the scan?

HighSparrow · 27/06/2016 16:01

Yep diarrhoea on/off here too! Blush

I think I'd rather have that than the nausea I'm getting now Confused
