A thread for all of us who have very recently discovered we're upduffed, with a due date of the achingly-long-away February 2017. It's early days for us all so there's lots of good news, sad news, sage advice and never-too-silly questions.

Second thread already! First is here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/2642653-Due-in-February-2017?

ceecee congrats

hopefor I am so sorry

PhoebeGeebee · 25/06/2016 11:10

evergreen - I've had barely any symptoms. No MS, no tiredness. My boobs were super achy until bang on 8 weeks. They hurt a bit if I poke them, but other than being a massive farty pants and constantly feeling like I'm bleeding (which just turns out to be discharge) I wouldn't know I was pregnant. If you only have very mild symptoms, it's very difficult to say you 'feel' pregnant.

I know this is such a worrying time for you but try to ignore what you feel might be an instinct as I think our emotions and hormones are so heightened that they affect our normal rational thinking. Stay strong x

FlyingSpaghettiM0nster · 25/06/2016 11:25

I'm so confused Sad After my scan on Thursday evening, I passed a few more finger-sized clots after coughing/sneezing. (I'm also getting a cold... just my luck!) No major cramping and not a huge amount of blood, some very watery red blood with the clots but nothing to ring alarm bells. I took another clear blue digi last night after work..... It said 3+. I have no idea what to make of it. I assumed hcg levels dropped exponentially after a mc so I expected a definite 2-3 or even a 1-2. Instead I'm left wondering if I can allow myself a sliver of hope. Maybe the clot has broken up and it came away without bringing the sac along with it. I have no idea. My bleeding has now reduced dramatically and is only there when I wipe, more of a brown colour.

Does anyone have any idea what this could mean? I have another scan on Thursday but being in limbo until then is bloody horrible!

PhoebeGeebee · 25/06/2016 11:36

Sorry I can't offer you any advice or words of wisdom flying but I'm clinging onto that sliver of hope with you and hoping these next few days go as fast as possible x

Scarydinosaurs · 25/06/2016 11:39

flying I would take that as a very very good sign- that suggests a significant increase in hormone, if I was you I would be allowing myself that sliver of hope Flowers

Evergreen17 · 25/06/2016 11:46

Flying I have no idea I am afraid
I have a scan in Thursday too, I will be thinking of you and hoping time flies for you until then. Flowers

Hazandduck · 25/06/2016 11:47

phoebe I have been like you, apart from mild bouts of nausea when I'm hungry but I have always been like that any way if I let myself get hungry lol! I literally panic and race to the bathroom every time thinking this is it I'm bleeding, nope just discharge! Sorry for TMI!

flying if the test still says you are pregnant then yes I would take that positively. Crossing everything for you X

Jojoclaire · 25/06/2016 12:05

Hope I'm so sorry to hear you're going through such a hard time, it's awful to feel the support isn't there from the hospital right when you need it. Thinking of you Flowers

I've been having a weird couple of days thinking my symptoms have disappeared and worrying somethings not right. I'm 8+3 today. Has anyone else found that happening?

I did just have a little bout of MS which was reassuring Hmm, apparently hormones start to plateau at 8 weeks but it's hard to not get worried if symptoms drop off? Does anyone have similar experience?

I can't wait to get to 12 weeks, poor DH just told his family and now I'm telling him I have no symptoms.

Masweetpea1 · 25/06/2016 12:18

flying, keeping everything crossed for you Smile, hoping it'll be good news on Thursday.
jojo evergreen , I'm the same, symptoms have disappeared. I'm 6+6 today and feeling like normal. I can't even justify that i have any cravings as I'm eating stuff I'd normally eat Blush. No tiredness, no ms, just a bit more teary than normal.

I've got a scan next Saturday but the waiting is horrible. It does seem as though my Brown spotting has stopped for now, fingers crossed.

FlyingSpaghettiM0nster · 25/06/2016 12:18

Good luck to us both Evergreen Chocolate

FlyingSpaghettiM0nster · 25/06/2016 12:21

Bloody hell... good luck to all of us waiting for scans Cake Chocolate

Justthe5 · 25/06/2016 12:49

hope u don't mind me joining

I found out I was pregnant with my forth child three weeks ago.on Tuesday I had a huge bleed with pain on my left side so went to a&e thinking eptopic.after a 4 hour wait I was assured it wasn't a eptopic but highly likely a miscarriage, there was no scanning available because of the time but the early pregnancy unit would be in touch.well I had a scan on Thursday and to my surprise I was still pregnant,7 weeks 😀 now my worry is whilst scanning me they found a large bleed in my womb( I'm still bleeding now) this could heal on its own, continue to bleed like a period or get much, much worse 🙁 has anyone been through this? X x

birdboo · 25/06/2016 13:12

Can I join the nervous when not feeling terrible club? I have to keep reminding DH that is a good sign I feel so terrible. We went to Bristol yesterday and all I wanted to do was fall alseep standing up. We told BIL because it's too hard to hide how bad I feel in the mornings.

I keep getting low grab like pains on my left hand side. They come and go and don't last long but they are beginning to worry me. My endometriosis is all centralised in a simalar area. I know we are away for the weekend but I can't wait to get back and see a dr.

Readyfortwo · 25/06/2016 14:05

Just been for my private scan. All ok & baby measuring dead on my dates 8+5. Heard the heartbeat too....sounded like a train :-)

mummylovescake1981 · 25/06/2016 14:48

Hello all!! Would just like to introduce myself then I will try and read through all the posts! I am probably the most insane here as I am currently pregnant with baby number 6. Dreading telling people as reactions were bad enough when we had number 5!

GinandJazzHands · 25/06/2016 14:50

Great news ready! Thinking of everyone who is bleeding and/or waiting for a scan. Found out today my friend has just had a mc at 8 weeks; I'm less than 6, gutted for her and nervous for myself. I'm in the no real symptoms club but telling myself it's early days. Be strong ladies and look after yourselves.

FriendlyGhost · 25/06/2016 15:13

Welcome to the new bfps. Congratulations!
Really good news on the scans CeeCee and Ready. My early one is two weeks today and I can't wait.
Feeling really sick and tired today. I definitely find eating little and often helps. I'm swinging between feeling ok and worrying and feeling rubbish. 6+4 today and time is going so slowly!

Dutchy88 · 25/06/2016 15:14

Still bleeding. It keeps alternating between brown and red. Anyone else got/had this?

mummylovescake1981 · 25/06/2016 15:25

Dutchy88 I had this with my 4th, turned out she was twins and I lost one. I have also had a lot of bleeding this time, but still feeling very pregnant and keep double checking line darknesses redoing pregnancy tests! I hope you are okay can you get a scan?

Dutchy88 · 25/06/2016 15:32

mummylovescake1981 I've got a scan on Tuesday.

My tests are still strong so I'm trying to remain positive but it's difficult isn't it?

mummylovescake1981 · 25/06/2016 15:33

Yes I completely understand, I remember the feeling well. I had convinced myself it had all gone wrong. There is always hope though! I really hope it all goes well for you x

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 25/06/2016 15:59

Sorry I haven't been on much, I've been feeling pretty rubbish and practically throwing myself in to bed as soon as I get DS in bed.

So sorry to hear of those who haven't had such good newsSad

I'm 7 weeks today, and the nausea is unbearable. I haven't actually thrown up yet, but there have been a few close calls. I'm absolutely wrecked by the time I finish work. I've lost 7lbs in weight already just from only eating tiny amounts for the last 3 weeks.

The good news is that I had my early scan on Thursday and all looks well. I was 6+5 and the baby was measuring 6+2 so I'm comfortable with that. Saw a lovely little heartbeat too. So relieved, makes such a difference from all the other times I have been in for a scan prior to 12 weeks.
My DM is offering to pay for another early scan in a couple of weeks, she so desperately wants DS to have a sibling.

Evergreen17 · 25/06/2016 16:05

Gin my best friend also mced at 8 weeks so I am just counting down to that as well. Everything crossed. Sorry for you friend

SBSparkles · 25/06/2016 16:40

Hi everyone, been off here for ages but swooping back in to say hello! 8 weeks today! Just ridiculously tired but not much nausea. Occasionally feel a bit sick and not my usual foodie self but nothing too bad! Not able to finish a coffee anymore and I used to love it! How's everyone else doing? I just feel so lazy all the time and I'm starting to wonder if I'm just unfit! Did a little walk the other day - something I'd do without thinking before and had to sit on a bench on the way home! Worried my diets not good enough! Xx
