A thread for all of us who have very recently discovered we're upduffed, with a due date of the achingly-long-away February 2017. It's early days for us all so there's lots of good news, sad news, sage advice and never-too-silly questions.

Second thread already! First is here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/2642653-Due-in-February-2017?

Hi London we can be due date buddies!!

Sorry to hear about the bleeding Kellz fingers firmly crossed for you!!

I'm having a lovely day with mother just getting stuff for dad so I've hardly though about being pregnant at all which is quite nice to not worry really!! Stretching pains in my belly and very sore nipples (bra shopping has had to happen!!) oh and very very tired nothing to do with getting up at 3.30!! Hope everyone is well!!

ChozzleopsTheThird · 15/06/2016 16:57

I forgot to say it's baby number 1, within the first month of TTC after having implant removed.

FriendlyGhost · 15/06/2016 17:23

Hello Chozzleops and Mrsg Smile
After 3 days of worrying I'm finally feeling sick again. It's nice to have some symptoms so I can start to believe it's real. I booked a reassurance scan today for when I'll be 8 1/2 weeks. Not for another 3 1/2 weeks but a mini goal to aim for. If anyone's in South London/Surrey I found a place in Mitcham that does reassurance scans for £45. Bargain!

ScottishSnowflake · 15/06/2016 17:58

Hello London and Chozzle! Welcome Smile

I've found you all again! Thanks for starting the next thread Sky. I'm 5+5 so 89.5% chance that baby's going to be here! Grin

SpinALittleFaster · 15/06/2016 18:24

Just marking my place so that I don't lose you! 5+2 today which still feels so very early. I think I'm going to try to arrange an appointment to register with my midwife next week once I'm past 6 weeks.

It still doesn't feel overly real for me. I think I've convinced myself that it's not going to last because it was too easy.

Evergreen17 · 15/06/2016 18:28

Sad I was posting in the other thread

Evergreen17 · 15/06/2016 18:30

Guys I posted the link to this thread on the other thread Grin

Evergreen17 · 15/06/2016 18:30

The old thread

Elllicam · 15/06/2016 18:36

Hello! I'm due 8th February with our 3rd baby. We have been trying for a year and I'm so thrilled (and nervous). We have booked a reassurance scan for the 2nd of July.

shadz · 15/06/2016 18:36

Had my booking in appointment today lasted over an hour went through lots of questions, got blood tests results back (which were normal) still waiting on Down syndrome and sickle cell tests received my maternity book and have scan on Sunday ... All very exciting and so much info to digest. all the best ladies

Jojoclaire · 15/06/2016 18:36

Hi everyone, I've been keeping a low profile trying not to think about things too much before reassurance scan on Friday but wanted to not lose the thread!

Am 7 weeks today I think. Eek!! 2 weeks more than last time so fingers and toes crossed for Friday!

Masweetpea1 · 15/06/2016 18:47

Thanks evergreen , found you all!!
kellz, hope all goes well tomorrow
I have an 8 week scan at 7+6 and panicking that they won't be able to see anything because it's not big enough , anyone else thinking that? Xx

Evergreen17 · 15/06/2016 18:47

Friendly that is an impressive list, thank you!!

I am 4+6 Smile

Yay wispa! The odds are in your favour!

Lawyer I started with a sore throat today Sad damn summer! I hope you get better. Defo use the paracetamol to bring fever down if doc said you can because you dont want to have a fever right now. Call 111 maybe?

Congrats Chozz and Mrsg Smile Wow! DC5! I bet you can give us lots of tips for the newbies like me Smile

Friendly I am in Surrey(south) where is this place? Sounds exciting

I dont feel pregnant at all and I an trying to forget about it so I dont worry to much. And when I do I am looking at the statistics in the positive... 81.1% today Smile

Evergreen17 · 15/06/2016 18:49

You are welcome Mas Grin
I think they will see something, maybe not heart though?

I hope they see my bean tomorrow at ovary ontravaginal scan (I will be like errr Hmm since you are looking down there, can you see a little bean?Hmm)

I will only be 5 weeks then

Evergreen17 · 15/06/2016 18:50

Transvaginal

GinandJazzHands · 15/06/2016 18:51

Thinking of you kellz, easier said than done but do try not to worry, may be totally normal. Great they are scanning you tomorrow; let us know how you get on ChocolateBrew

ChozzleopsTheThird · 15/06/2016 18:52

What kinds of things do they ask in the booking in appointment? When should I inform my doctors. It still feels too early, not quite real yet!

ChozzleopsTheThird · 15/06/2016 18:54

Can I ask how many people you're telling in RL?

Sorry for all the questions!

sphinxster · 15/06/2016 18:54

Can I join you all?

Found out yesterday I'm pregnant with #2. NHS due date calculator says 20th February.

I'm a bit nervous about this one as I had an emergency caesarean 8 months ago. Hoping my old uterus has healed up ok for this little one.

Readytosettle · 15/06/2016 19:01

Hello everyone, and thanks evergreen for rescuing me from the other thread. I'm 7+2 today, feel like I'm enormous & a few people at work have started grilling me about my drinking habits, desperately counting down to my private scan next Sunday as there's no way this is going to stay secret til 12weeks.

The girl who sits next to me told me she was pg today- I'd suspected for a few weeks now, but this is her first & she has a very obvious bump at 12wks which has made me even more conscious about mine. The main issue is that loads of my work clothes are too tight so I'm having to wear dresses which aren't as good for covering!

Kellz92 · 15/06/2016 19:15

Thank you,I'm not as worried as I thought I would be because the bleeding has stopped again. I just panicked when I seen it. Dr said chances are I'm fine but he can't rule out miscarriage X

FlyingSpaghettiM0nster · 15/06/2016 19:17

Congratulations to all those who have just got their BFP Smile

I'm really not sure how I'm going to be dated. Will the doctor use the date of my miscarriage as CD1 or will they send me for an early dating scan? The scan would be weird because it would probably be in the same ward with the same nurses when I miscarried last month Hmm I have a doc appointment next week so hopefully I'll know more then. I still have the number for the midwife but there is no way I want to call them just yet. I am feeling more confident this time but there is a very small part of me that is absolutely terrified I'll lose this one too

Scarydinosaurs · 15/06/2016 19:18

Hello!

I am expecting DC3 Feb 12th, I have two DDs, 3 and 1. I am hopefully going to get a 6 week scan, but still waiting to hear from the hospital.

Ridiculously exciting and still POAS here 😂

HighSparrow · 15/06/2016 19:22

Found everyone! Thanks for creating the new thread lucy!

So 4+5 today...so still nervous to get passed the 5 week stage and then I can relax a teeny bit.

Not many symptoms today, just sore boobs really. Got a digi ready and waiting for the weekend....better see 3+ weeks!!

I'll catch up on the other posts in a bit..

SkyLucy · 15/06/2016 19:47

Thanks for posting the link in the old thread ever! It wouldn't let me post anything - couldn't work out how others were still posting!

Welcome newbies, we're quite the crowd now! Let's hope our numbers only grow Smile

Chozzle - I saw my GP last week when I was 4+3. Thought it was ridiculously early but she didn't bat an eyelid - just gave me lots of info about choosing delivery hospitals (Shock) and referred me to the midwife team, so I'm now waiting to hear from them about my booking appt. It's my first too so I've no bloody idea what's going on!

In terms of telling RL folk, only me and DH know, and we're not telling anyone until we've had a (hopefully) happy 12-wk scan. Hate not telling my Ma, we speak every day. She will go BONKERS with excitement though, so it's better all round! I might tell my boss a bit earlier - I will need time off for booking appt/scan, and don't want to give up annual leave for it! Anyone else telling boss before family?

Hope you're okay kellz.
