Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I don't know Shell, DH and I had that convo this morning. I will ask my doc next time I see her but it isn't for 5 weeks.

fruitlovingmonkey · 07/02/2016 11:38

Cute hammock btw!

lildottie · 07/02/2016 11:38

5hell that hammock is pretty cool. Not seen or heard of them before.

3tio runs done and the garage is looking much better for it. We can now get in there at least! So hopefully I can now move the diy stuff back into the garage and reclaim my bedroom cupboard! Dh is painting last coat if doors and the radiator in lounge then I can get my lounge back too! Which also means getting my dining table back which is currently covered in stuff out of lounge. Happy day!

honeysucklejasmine · 07/02/2016 11:40

Lil I am tired just reading that. Sit down, woman!

SecondCupOfTea · 07/02/2016 11:57

Also decorating here. We are doing our (rather long) hallway. Did clearing (multiple bookcases and assorted crap) and filling yesterday. Pulled up carpet and underlay and took it to the tip. Today DP has sugar soaped all the surfaces, and sanded down bits, and is now about to paint the ceiling.

I'm painting a stripe along the walls from about 1' above the skirting to about 6' high...cos I can't bend to do the bottom bit and he won't let me up the step ladders.

I can only do about 45 mins standing and then I have to sit down. Hopefully we should get one coat of emulsion on the walls and ceiling today, then do the second coat next weekend and start the woodwork. The Law of Sod says that I'll go into labour whatever bloody day the carpet fitters are due!

Then there's the small job of painting the bathroom (should only take 2 half days), and then we can sort out the nursery (which is decorated, but is still being used as a storeroom).

We've eaten all the Mini Eggs but we are having bacon sarnies for lunch

TriJo · 07/02/2016 12:02

I'd murder a bacon sarnie :D

At the gym at the moment, trying to decide when to suspend the membership... can still do light cardio (elliptical and stationary bike), I'm not quite kneeling myself in the bump on the bike when I take a very upright position and I don't feel terrible doing it. 34 weeks today...

CountryGal4 · 07/02/2016 12:28

I've felt a right wrong un the last couple of days . Standing/walking for more the ten minutes feels really draggy and sore. Both that and sitting gives me bad back and I just don't feel right humph

ThursdayLastWeek · 07/02/2016 12:42

country that sounds annoying. I know how you feel, I keep getting the stabby fanjo/pelvis pains when walking and am knackered after doing anything for too long. I can't remember how long you have left?
I can handle it because my end is very much in sight!

tea, lil I'm knackered just reading what you hpguys are up to. Thankfully we're coming yo the end of our renovations, and DH has basically just been doing them anyway.

No need to suspend it yet is there Tri? If you still want to use it? I can only handle Pilates now, but I'm ok with that!

We've been for a (cold wet and windy) dash around the beach with the fig and now I'm baking a Camembert mmmmmmmmmm

SecondCupOfTea · 07/02/2016 12:47

Thursday please tell me that was a typo, and you actually took the dog to the beach, rather than a small exotic fruit...

CountryGal4 · 07/02/2016 12:51

Thurs 35 weeks today it's the sore bump aswell which is new. Do we think bh? Really low down and almost like pre af but not the same

ThursdayLastWeek · 07/02/2016 13:33

Cor, I dunno. If you were further along Country I'd wonder if it weren't the start of things? Have you been overdoing it at all? I get more random pains and tiredness if I've been busy. Whatever it is, sounds like you need to rest.

Lol sky yes typo! I catergotically did not take a fig for a walk on a beach Grin

CarrotPuff · 07/02/2016 13:35

Glad you're feeling better sky.

I don't think delayed clamping is compatible with stem cell donation. I remember looking into it last time. You have to have a managed 3rd stage, and I think you need to have it straight away as they want as many cells as they can get.

Country it could be that baby is moving down or turning. Is it worse when you stand up/walk? I feel your pain, my spd has gotten worse over the last few days, I think it's due to baby being engaged.

Thursday we've got a lie in too, although not as impressive as yours - 6.45 (anything after 6am is a lie in in this house).

I've made some pancakes for breakfast too - nom nom. We went for a walk too, although it's sunny with icy cold wind here. My pelvis is hating me at the moment.

DP putting crib together, and chest of drawers for storing baby stuff. Got some more mat pads, shower gel for hospital bag and some cotton wool. Need to start making a pile packing it.

DS finally asleep, gonna park my sore bum on the sofa and have a cuppa.

CountryGal4 · 07/02/2016 13:39

It's much better when I'm led down. Only stArts if I've been on my feet for over 30 mins. Anything other than being led feels like over doing it . Think I'm gonna have to pack work in

Mermaid36 · 07/02/2016 13:48

Ooh - love the hammock! Wonder if you can fit 2 babies in them (probably not Hmm)

I've managed a trip to lidl for shopping and a stop off at a mates for a cuppa (all with DH)....he has dropped me back off at home so he can go and watch nephew playing football. No way can I manage an hour stood outside Huzzah for using pregnancy as an excuse

Funnily enough, I'm going to have a nap now I've put the washer and dishwasher on...

ThursdayLastWeek · 07/02/2016 14:18

I missed the hammock pic somehow 5hell it looks great!

Are there specific benefits to it over a Moses/crib/whatever, or do you just like it?!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 07/02/2016 15:33

With hammocks the baby can rock themselves back to sleep! Grin

We haven't tried to put ours together yet. I feel like it's gonna be huuuuuge.

I made it to the pub. Our local does poutine, which is a Canadian dish... and my favourite!

ThursdayLastWeek · 07/02/2016 16:31

OMG I need some poutine

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 07/02/2016 16:58

Thursday there's a food stall in London that does the authentic stuff. They make their own curd and it's proper thick gravy. Hot Mess Poutine

ThursdayLastWeek · 07/02/2016 17:56

Oh DONT. I'm probably bloody closer to Canada than London!

lildottie · 07/02/2016 18:44

Lol honey after that post I sorted a load of washing that I’d put on this morning, went to Tesco to do the food shop, and got the lounge sorted. Dining room still not quite there but at least I can sit downstairs now! I’m knackered!

Well done on the decorating tea, I just supervise! I’m not allowed to paint as I do it to fast and spray it off the roller everywhere, including all over me! I end up speckled!

5hell · 07/02/2016 19:09

Gosh u lot have made my weekend seem even more unproductive!! Well done on all the diy, sorting n tidying! Star

Been to see mum today...in v good spirits if a little distracted. Starting pre-chemo tests n checks this week, then chemo next week.

Yes in theory hammock should allow some self-soothing via rocking, and slightly angled position is meant to be good for gas/colic etc. I may have fallen for hype, time will tell Wink

Star's all around both for the diy viroids and the relaxers.

I've made DP all nervous. I have the pelvic/back pain again and shortness of breath so have gone to bed with DD. Nerve pain shooting up into my chest if I move my legs. He's leaving on a business trip abroad tomorrow for 3 days too... pretty sure is nothing to worry about as baby wriggling away normally all day and now.

Have decided that if doctors start talking about inducing me early that I would rather schedule an elsc. Can you do that for GD? I would rather that than being induced I think.

CarrotPuff · 08/02/2016 07:53

I've got a sore throat and a cough. Another cold, boo!

lildottie · 08/02/2016 08:14

sky hope you're OK and managed to get a good nights sleep in. Has dh gone now? We can send virtual BrewCake and Chocolate to look after you. The best thing about the virtual stuff is its calorie free ;)

carrot sorry you've got another cold. I think I'm fighting one that's trying to appear and I have the most horrendous mouth ulcer where my wisdom tooth is niggling. Dentist booked this week already fortunately, bought my check up fwd to take advantage of my maternity exemption!
