Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

lil I felt very secure and relieved when I realised we had an option for each sex - names wise. Though now we have three potential girls names Confused

SockQueen · 06/02/2016 09:48

Nightshift #1 completed with minimal drama. Took advantage of a lull to have a sneaky play with the ultrasound machine - still very much blob-like, but found the heartbeat after a bit of prodding. Gx!

Very snazzy indeed 5hell!

FeatheredTail · 06/02/2016 10:30

Fit 5hell: FIT.

Glad you had a good snooze Thurs (although two pee wake ups would break me...)

Nice going Lil! We haven't talked names for ages and need to get going! Girls names are proving much easier - the top two are sorted. Unfortunately, we're going to be those pratts who give their children two middle names. They will have DH's last name (we're married but I kept my name) so I want a middle name from my heritage. We also have a family name we need to use.

Boys names.....oh lord. A minefield!

I salute you!

FeatheredTail · 06/02/2016 10:32

Awesome news Sock! God, I'm bad enough slacking off at work to look at travel systems online....lord knows how I'd cope with a travel system in the vicinity!

CountryGal4 · 06/02/2016 10:38

I've said it before and il say it again. We have a girls name easily but not a boy. We're having a boy sigh

Mermaid36 · 06/02/2016 10:39

Ooh! Nice travel system! Grin

I have been sick, eaten breakfast, been to the chemist and have gone back to bed for an hour.

We're off to Manchester this afternoon to see my sister in hospital (she's in for a month) and I need the rest!

I can't believe that in 3/4 months I've gone from someone who worked 6 or 7 days a week (full time job and my own business), did 7 or 8 hours of hardcore exercise a week and ran the house....to someone who gets tired after 2hrs of pottering about.
That's the hardest thing to get my head round I think!

5hell · 06/02/2016 11:29

thanks all, DH didn't even freak out at the sight of baby stuff :)

country ditto! Confused

mer we just have to adapt and not expect too much of ourselves. Sure it's good to keep active, but I come back from a 40min dog walk slightly pooped!!
Hope your sis has lots to keep her occupied in hosp Flowers

sock like :)

Niiiice 5hell beauty buggy you have there.

Feathered our girls have 3 middle names each! We live in North London though so there is a standard of wankyness we need to uphold, you see. Plus, I'm North American so you know, there's that too Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 06/02/2016 11:59

We have girls name sorted. We've known it since 2014 although it was supposed to be for our second daughter, damn SIL so that's easy. Middle names have been harder as there aren't really any family names, and we wanted a short name to avoid too many syllables.

Boys wise, we have one but still disagree if its a name in its own right or if we need to give them the full whack name. Which I don't really like.

honeysucklejasmine · 06/02/2016 12:00

Right, I'm going to go make mini egg cookies.

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/02/2016 12:11

Our boys name is like that too honey, although we don't disagree on it. My gut says we should use the whole name on the BC but it's just not as nice as DS name so I'd feel bad!

FeatheredTail · 06/02/2016 12:23

The one thing DH and I agree on is that all names must be full whack! So. One thing we agree on.

Sky you've just made it ok for me to consider a third middle name for the girls. I thank you for that. I'll claim it's a hangover from my highbury days and a Persian tradition (and imaginary one) Grin

FeatheredTail · 06/02/2016 12:23

*an

lildottie · 06/02/2016 12:25

boys names are definitely way harder, and i'm now convinced this one is a boy though that is based on nothing at all! Dh has conceded a little to allow me to have the girls name I want and I've conceded a little to give him the boys name he wants so i think in the end that made it easier. It was that or it would be called lilbean forever! thurs 3 has to be better than none right?

5hell lovely travel system. Mine is fairly similar. Will have to post some pics once I've unburied it from spare room and washed the covers that i've already removed.

Need to find somewhere to replace all the bolts for my crib too. When i say my crib, it's literally my crib that i slept in until i was 6m old! all 4 of my brothers went in it too! Unfortunately all the metal bits have gone rusty so hoping i can easily replace them so i can still use it for sentimental significance. if not i have a back up crib from my cousin i can use. Anyone got any ideas where to start? I was thinking i might take them into screwfix and see if they could help.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 06/02/2016 12:50

lil that's so lovely that you have that! I would maybe check in with a professional furniture restorer. But then I am of the duct tape fixes everything school of DIY.

Mermaid36 · 06/02/2016 12:51

We've got girls names pretty sorted. One middle name only, and we've got a pretty common/normal surname, so can't be too wanky...

However, despite wanting boys over girls, we're really struggling with boys names!!

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/02/2016 13:02

Gosh I have no idea lil, might they just be a little rusty and still in good working order?

We can't be arsed with middle names. I don't have one and DH hates his and it makes life loads easier!

lildottie · 06/02/2016 13:07

Ooh furniture restorer is a good idea sky will look into that as I imagine they would be able to get the more specialised parts more easily.

thurs not having to come up with middle names really does make it easier! good plan!

5hell · 06/02/2016 14:36

i reckon screwfix might help, or perhaps a more old-fashioned hardware store (there used to be one in Ramsgate that would defo have had just what you needed in a box out the back Wink)

just been out for nice lunch, then take away cake at home, now chilling with the rugby - although really should be doing some jobs (like maybe erecting the hammock!)

FeatheredTail · 06/02/2016 14:41

Pedicure, eyelash tint and 2 new bras bought. The girls are now a 34F up from a 32D. The relief is immense. No more 4-boob....but for how long?!

Second what Sky said about a furniture restorer Lil.

Have a lovely time with your sister Mer - hope she's doing well.

TriJo · 06/02/2016 15:03

Just back from doing a bit of shopping, now watching the rugby with a mug of tea and a cookie. Got a few bits for my hospital bag - toiletries etc, and got a great bargain on a 2 pack of nursing bras in M&S. Marked at £28, scanned at all of £4 :)

YogaPants · 06/02/2016 16:07

Great bargain, Tri!

DH said the only way he can say whether he likes a name or not is if he can imagine it being his name, so is pretty useless at discussing girls names. Hmm This could work to my advantage but I have quite a long list of nams which I like that needs some whittling down!

NFMK (kitchen): currently making marmalade. The house smells fantastic!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 06/02/2016 17:18

We'll help you Yoga!
