Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Oh mermaid that is such wonderful news you must be so relieved! I am so so pleased for you and your DH. ChocolateCakeBrewWine

fruitlovingmonkey · 29/02/2016 17:41

Happy times indeed Mermaid! Think you and the miroid should treat yourselves tonight for getting through this difficult period.
Yay for extra scans Lil. Hope you get one too Shell.
I had the most boring meeting ever this afternoon. It lasted almost 4 hours and then I came home and was greeted by arse rain. Today is not my day!
So many viroids hitting the 37 week milestone, congrats Sky!
Glad things are going well Carrot.

lildottie · 29/02/2016 18:14

So pleased for you merm, what a relief. Agree you should celebrate tonight!

disco Im always getting told I look pale regardless of pgcy, usually by my dh! I'm like gee thanks, let me go get my spray tan on idiot

Ooh sky must have missed u are 37weeks today, congratulations!

Mermaid36 · 29/02/2016 18:16

kate my Miroid is having a panic too...We have lots of diy to do in the house so he has made a project plan (in MS Project) and printed it out....bloody analysts!

Illiria · 29/02/2016 18:18

Mermaid yay glad everything is ok

Lil did you also have more in the early part?

Hope you are ok Kate

First scan booked for when I am 7 weeks which is pretty normal for here, she did ask if they had wanted me in earlier due to the previous mc but as no one has told me to I went with their standard date.

YogaPants · 29/02/2016 18:40

Such good news Mermaid. I'm happy for you. Star for your dh putting together a project plan!

Happy 37 weeks Sky. Not much time left now. (Well, I guess it could be another 5 verylong weeks but who's counting?)

7 weeks is still pretty early ill but you should have a heartbeat which may not be heard at 5/6 weeks. It is amazing how much changes between then and the 12 week scan.

I am feeling scanned out. After 2 more heart monitoring scans showing an extra beat, I was sent to the big, London hospital on Friday to meet with a specialist and yogini's heart was beating normally and measured the same healthy heart rate on both sides!

Not sure I have any questions for the midwife at 28 week appointment next week. At what point do you begin discussing the options for birth at your midwife visits?

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/02/2016 18:53

Ah Mermaid I'm so pleased for you!

7 weeks seems like sensible timing to me Ill.

Off out for a 'birthday' dinner - it's not actually my friends birthday til Sunday, but I shall be otherwise engaged and we both like eating Grin

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/02/2016 18:56

Ah, I'm pleased to hear that too Yoga Smile

I was quite surprised not to discuss birth plan til myn34 week appt with DS, and this time no discussion needed!

CountryGal4 · 29/02/2016 20:48

We need a new home!!

KateBeckett · 29/02/2016 21:09

sky lil I'm okay today thank you! I ended up phoning triage, who were lovely and reassuring and gave me a list of things to look out for. A warm water bottle helped, and some sleep but the pain stayed all night so I had a crap nights sleep! And work has been rubbish today but meh!

So so pleased to hear your happy news mer I can't imagine how relieved you and the miroid must be!

yoga fantastic news for you too Smile though I can't imagine feeling scanned out ha!

ill how far away is your first scan? Where abouts are you?

Thanks for all the miroid reassurance too! We had another chat tonight and he said it's not that he's hating it, he just doesn't like seeing me have a hard time and it feels weird that he can't 'feel' anything- so it doesn't feel real. I've pointed him towards the 'beardy dad's' podcast for some miroid-my support ha!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 29/02/2016 21:37

Good news yoga that must be a weight off you Flowers

Uh so, I know it is probably a bit late to be asking but do I need to be carrying anything in case my waters go in public? I worked from home whilst pregnant with DD so wasnot really worried about that but I am much more active this time around... should I be carrying something to change into or sit on if I need to ring a taxi? Surely wayers breaking isn't an ambulance thing? It is bloody cold out lately! Oh God my waters are going to break in front of the nosy school run parents as some sort of karmic retribution for avoiding them my whole pregnancy, aren't they?! wails Shock

lildottie · 29/02/2016 22:14

Glad all OK Kate though sorry work rubbish. How many weeks are you. My miroid didn't really start getting proper feels until about 21weeks ish. He'd feel more if he could be patient and keep his hand still long enough! Maybe get him to watch your bump, my dh sees kicks I don't feel and my bro said same about sils pg. I'd do it when you've felt baby have a bit of a move though.

sky good question, I shall be carefully noting down answers!

yoga how stressful! Glad all looks to be OK now though. Will they scan again?

Illiria · 01/03/2016 02:30

Kate I'm in Northern California, about 15 mins from the hospital.

Sky I did always wonder that, plus maternity leave here is so naff that I am sure most women have their waters break at work.
