Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Good bargain tri. I think I need some bigger nursing bras this time too.

Washed the biggest part of baby clothes and a million muslins today. Will wash the rest tomorrow.

DP is pissing me off with his man flu Angry

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 06/02/2016 19:16

Watched the last half hour of Return of the Jedi. Cried 3 times. I think the lingering respitory infection/kidney infection/possible diabetes thing has pushed me over the edge ConfusedHmmSad

DSD is here and really excited to see all the baby furniture. It is very sweet. At dinner DP asked the girls what I should get for Valentine's day and she said DP should get some me nice new pants! Grin

DD is currently hoovering the house for fun. Can't complain about the children... they're awesome.

SockQueen · 06/02/2016 19:48

Got my 12 week scan through the post today. Not till 7th March, which is aaaaaaages away, plus I'll be 13+1 by then!

TriJo · 06/02/2016 19:52

On the couch in my pyjamas watching athletics on Eurosport, DH is on his way back home from a football match with a friend and just asked do I want to go out for dinner with them. I know he means well, but dammit I'm comfortable here and the idea of moving and putting real clothes on doesn't fill me with great joy...

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 06/02/2016 19:57

sock 13+1 is still in the right window. Annoying though as I bed you're anxious to see babysock already!

tri trade you?

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/02/2016 20:39

Ah sock I'll have had my baby by then Shock

Steak, chips, onion rings and mushrooms for tea.
Yum yum yum

Mermaid36 · 06/02/2016 20:55

Exciting Saturday night here....just got back from visiting my sister in hospital (120mile round trip) and we're having cheesy beans on toast, sat in our pj's. I can't believe how rock and roll we are...

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/02/2016 21:15

How's your sis Mermaid?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 06/02/2016 21:25

Hope your sister is ok mer

Mermaid36 · 06/02/2016 21:41

She's doing ok, just bored. The main bit of her treatment doesn't start until Tuesday, so she's had a week of mooching around whilst feeling fine.
She'll have Total Body Irradiation on Tuesday then the bone marrow and stem cells on Thursday.
After that it's just waiting for all her cell counts to get back to an acceptable levels...
(It's her second transplant, so we've been through all this before)

5hell · 06/02/2016 21:41

Ah your girls sound adorable sky

Exciting to have a date Sock just sorry u have to wait a while Chocolate

Erection of hammock did not go as smoothly as pram etc...slightly dodgy instructions, a few stiff connections and it looked bloody massive in the lounge!!!!!! Shock Confused now moved up stairs it looks a bit more normal but still some googling required to perfect set up I think, hohum

sky!!!!!! Was lovely to see you on my ramekin thread! I now have so many uses for them I daren't be without them!

fruitlovingmonkey · 07/02/2016 08:21

That does sounds boring for her Mermaid, bet she was glad of your visit.
Is there anything the docs can do for her with the cord blood from your babies? I know it's packed full of stem cells.

ThursdayLastWeek · 07/02/2016 08:25

Morning all.

DS gave us the best Sunday morning present ever and slept in til 8am! Combined with DTD and steak for tea last night, I think we'll just pretend it was valentines weekend this weekend and take the pressure off next week Grin

How are you feeling sky, those antibiotics kicking in yet?

That sounds bloody terrifying and exhausting in equal measures Mer, your sister must be made of strong stuff.

5hell I'm so confused about the hammock?! Is it for you or the babe?

honey and carrot how are you feeling? It's really not long until your big days now!

honeysucklejasmine · 07/02/2016 08:29

I am going stir crazy. Baby could come any day or not until after yours does Thursday so I am not impressed. I like to plan ahead. Baby is not playing along.

ThursdayLastWeek · 07/02/2016 08:33

The little fuckers can be a bit like that honey. I guess I should dole out the usual crazy advice about keeping busy and offer you some sympathy.

It really can't stay in there forever though, so it won't be long compared to the slog you've already done! How's the heartburn?

I'm getting a bit of a cough, which is giving me the fear rather. Don't fancy having to try to deal with that after having my tummy, sliced open Shock

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 07/02/2016 08:41

Feeling better thank you for asking! Anti-bs working on both sinus infection and kidneys and my sugar free cookbook arrives today! Contemplating a trip to the museum with the girlies today and chips and gravy...

Mermaid36 · 07/02/2016 09:07

fruit she's had my stem cells for the last 5 years and they are now not working for her (so she's having my mum's instead this time!)

I am looking into cord donation though as a general thing, but there are surprisingly few hospitals that will do it, which is disappointing

lildottie · 07/02/2016 09:24

I'd be interested to know what u find out mer as I was planning to do something research on cord blood banking/donation myself.

sky glad the ABs are kicking in. Did u get chance to nap yesterday in the end? And have to agree on ur girls sounding super lovely.

5hell we need hammock pics

Thurs jealous of ur steak! Sounds like a good evening!

gaggia ramekin thread? I need a link!

I should get out of bed and take the tonne of cardboard in my garage to the tip.hopefully lounge will be finished bring decorated today too ready for my DM to come and put up the wallpaper on the feature wall!

fruitlovingmonkey · 07/02/2016 09:41

That is disappointing, over here they have a national bank. Or you can pay privately and it will be saved for you or your family but I think we will go with the public one.
Maybe it's something she can research while she's bored in hospital. Would be awesome to think of your babies helping her as soon as they are born.
Hammock sounds really cute Shell, love the colour of your pram too. We are also going for yellow.
Get shagging Honey! Are you Epi-no ing?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 07/02/2016 09:43

There's a cord blood bank at my trust. Royal Free Hospital in London which includes North Middlesex and Barnet. I think that you donate and it's anonymous after that. If you want to keep your own you have to do so privately. Pretty sure there's a clinic in Chelsea. Will have a look and report back.

SockQueen · 07/02/2016 09:55

Sky I can sneak a peek at the socklet whenever I have a quiet moment at work, though my machine is not as good as the ones in the proper US department!

Did NOT have a quiet night last night though - ambulance transfer to another hospital (made me very travel sick, which never usually happens) plus two ICU admissions. Time for bed now!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 07/02/2016 10:24

Private cord blood banks not cheap but you can do a payment plan. Might think seriously about it as don't think I will be eligible to donate to NHS due to my medical history. It would be good to have stem cells available in case DD, DN or anyone in DPs family needed them.

5hell · 07/02/2016 10:49

Hammock pic as requested :)
It's for chubs not me!

Apparently some hospitals (including those near me) don't let private firms in to collect cord blood/stem cells, so u need to check it out from both sides.

Is cord blood banking compatible with delayed cord clamping? I don't know enough to figure it out.
