Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Congratulations Cake.

Hope your scan goes well tomorrow Sky.

Hope you have been able to speak to your midwife by now Kate and everything is ok.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 28/02/2016 21:55

I just wanted to say thank you to all you lovely viroids for being here. This Fred has been a huge support to me in the last few weeks and you are all luffly!

5hell · 28/02/2016 22:16

Phew! ...glad the cake news is out! Another boybee Grin

And hooray for a baby carrot too!

First baby in my nct group was born today too...and I'm 2nd on that list Shock Confused

You are lovely too sky

Thanks viroids, I gave them a call and a hot water bottle seems to have settled it.

Ended up having a horrid conversation with dp though, where he basically said he's not enjoying the pregnancy at all, he feels anxious a lot (probably because I panic all the time!) feels like I'm hating it and he can't do anything to help me, feels sad that he can't feel the baby etc... It made me sad to think he feels like that.

fruit thanks for the magnesium tip! I'll get on that tomorrow. I wonder if it will help with the hip cramps I'm getting too?! /hopeful

sky I agree! Such a good support network.

CarrotPuff · 28/02/2016 23:19

Well it appears I haven't queue jumped at all!

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/02/2016 07:20

Morning all.

It's baby week.

carrot how are you my love?

kate -that sounds like it was a hard conversation to have, but there's so much merit in being able to have it at all. So many couples aren't. And your miroid was being honest bless him, because he loves you v much by the sound of it. I hope you're feeling better all round today.

DH said to me last night,
'I think it's time we had this baby. I think I'd prefer to have a newborn than see you this uncomfortable'. Which I thought was quite sweet. I ate way too much for dinner last night and I had to lie down to recover Blush

CountryGal4 · 29/02/2016 07:33

So the only person not staying in line is me.... Apologies Grin

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/02/2016 07:41

How are you feeling country?

CountryGal4 · 29/02/2016 08:12

Yeah good. Plasterer is in doing the nursery today and have batch cooking in the freezer. All I have to do over the next two days is clean the bathroom. You?

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/02/2016 08:28

Gosh, that's going to be a very freshly plastered nursery!

Yeah, I'm mostly excited - willing DH on with the finishing touches to his DIY stuff, not because it's essential just because I'd like a nice today organised home before I go in on Fri!

Going out for dinner with a friend tonight, and DS is going to spend the arvo with his GPs so hopefully today will go fast.

CountryGal4 · 29/02/2016 08:45

Haha tell me about it. Couldn't er the plastering done until the plumbers had been in. Dh can't finish the laminate downstairs until the plastering is done. I'm ignoring all of these things Grin

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/02/2016 08:54

I'm trying to too! Feels very close to the edge...

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/02/2016 09:26

NFMV - awarding myself queen of the swamp foof today. So gross that if I hadn't actually seen my plug with DS (plop) then I'd be wondering!

SecondCupOfTea · 29/02/2016 10:21

That's it you too (Thursday and Country) go on and have your sections and leave me all alone at the top of the list Wink

I don't think strop baby has any intention of vacating, he seems far too comfortable. Well, at least one of us is I suppose...

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 29/02/2016 11:09

I've fallen victim to the Leap Year! Went to hospital for growth scan... it's tomorrow! facepalm good thing I have nothing better to do today. Eeeeeep. Think I shall have a nap when I get in. Upped my dose of metfomin yesterday and woke up hourly with sweats and thirst ir needing a wee last night. zzzzzzzzz

5hell · 29/02/2016 13:33

LOL sky! ...when i read the start of your post in the preview I thought you'd done a leap day baby!!! Shock
sorry the met is making sllep even more elusive for you - i think i've read it does settle down (not that you've got too long I guess?)

dh working abroad all this week - positives=whole king size to spreadeagle in, i can have whatever i like for dinner and watch lots of trash 16 and pregnant - negatives=soooo many dog walks, find it difficult to motivate myself to cook a proper dinner for 1, and if i do pop early he's not in the country!!

thurs i empathise...having not been a member of the swamp foof gang for most of my pregnancy, things are definitely ramping up in that area in the last week or so

OP posts:
CarrotPuff · 29/02/2016 14:02

Lol sky. Happy full term to you though! Hope you have a nice nap.

I'm ok Thurs, thanks. A bit tired but that's to be expected. Bfing is painful just like with DS, which I hoped to have avoided, but I know I'll get there. Definitely not as shocked and overwhelmed like I felt last time. But then DS is not back from GPs yet Wink

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 29/02/2016 14:28

Ooooh carrot so happy for you that you get baby snuggles. Forgot about BF pain. Do I need lanisoh or are the generic ones just as good. Can't remember may have blocked it out

5hell gx baby stays put until DPs return! Enjoy all the girly tv and the bed all to yourself. I feel you with the dog walking. I do a lot of school runs still just because I am sure staying active is good for me but man alive do I ever feel tired of it some days...

Thanks for the 37 week congrats! Happy to finally be fully cooked. Looking forward to childless weekend when I shall bust out the steam cleaner and do the final cupboard sorting I have planned for last weekend. Sods law she'll come on Thursday.

Have we heard from Kate since last night? How are you darling?

lildottie · 29/02/2016 15:09

So exciting to have all of these imminent babies!

Also thinking of you Kate and hope you're OK.

So ivf pregnancy rocks. Just seen consultant and I get two growth scans 28wks and 34 weeks (which is booked at 33 weeks due to bank holiday). YES!

CarrotPuff · 29/02/2016 15:34

Sorry sky I only ever used lansinoh so can't advise on that. Make sure you stock up on drugs too, the after pains second time around are quite remarkable Confused

Yay for extra scans lil!

5hell · 29/02/2016 17:03

quite jealous of your extra scans lil, 20w seems such a long time ago!
...i sort of wouldn't mind if mw cant figure out chubs' position on thurs as then they'll send me for scan, although i REALLY dont want him to be breech obv!...dilemma!

OP posts:
lildottie · 29/02/2016 17:10

So a non breech can't figure out where he is appointment for you the 5hell! Basically you need a shit midwife ;)

Mermaid36 · 29/02/2016 17:15

NIPT results back: no abnormalities detected (for Downs, Edwards or Patau). It's over 99% accurate, so I'm obviously immensely relieved Grin
Also, no Y chromosome detected, so more than likely 2 Girlbees (although that's not as certain, cos it's twins)
I've never had such a happy Monday - thank you for all your lovely messages and support in the last week or so Grin

justtheonethen · 29/02/2016 17:19

So relieved for you mermaid Star

Discofairypants · 29/02/2016 17:34

Amazing news merm, must be such a relief!

Hope all is ok today kate. These miroids deal with things so differently ... Mine is in denial and is making loads of plans for days out and diy in the spring/summer months .... Don't think he's realised how busy we will be! Great that yours is being so open, it's totally normal to feel that way. What a lovely daddy he will be.

Glad you're doing ok carrot. Thanks for the heads up re after pains .... I couldn't actually believe how painful it was last time and don't think I really knew to expect it. I'm hoping I'll escape that toe curling nipple pain thus time but not holding out! Sorry, it's not all painful and negative viroids, honest!

Congrats for 37 weeks sky! Not long now, eeeeep!

Effing knackered today ... People keep telling me I look pale and tired. I feel like telling them to go and grow a human and see how they feel Grin
