Hi just got my bfp! I'm early, 3 days before AF was due so not sure if I'm the only one with an August due date?

I'm due August 3rd

Thanks Eminado will struggle out first thing. Something I haven't tried. Sorry for self indulgence everyone...we are all going through it I know, but just before that post DH came in from work and asked what I'd done today. He could see absolutely nothing from the state of the place so needed to vent. Kinda told him that keeping dd and the dog alive was mission accomplished for me today!

Ahhh Happy Birthday to baby jw for tomorrow! Have you been thinking "this time last year I was...." all day today jw? I was geeky enough to even go back through my contraction timer app several times the day before DD turned 1 to see just how much I was suffering at that moment in time haha!

Hi all, so sorry to hear you feel rotten, it's not a lot of fun. just an update doctor prescribed cyclizine tablets. Anyone else?! Side effect gastro intestinal problems, what is the point?! Only day one but not feeling any better, got the flu on top of it and doctor advised to take week off as so upset with my daughter being unwell recently and in hospital. Really hoping things improve soon it's horrible being so miserable and husband not v understanding!

Tablets are for sickness and nausea btw!

I've got my mw booking appointment tomorrow morning. After that we are going to tell DS. He's going to be so excited, he's wanted to be a big brother for such a long time. I'm excited about telling him :) Not sure how I'm going to fit the other billion things I need to do into the day though...here's hoping it's a sickness free day.

Dileas I thought the anti sickness tables couldn't be prescribed till after 12 weeks..?? And also normally only in the case of HG.? Which is like serious sickness being sick up to 50 times a day and a hospital admission type job..?

I only know about it as some one close to me suffered it.

Aw thanks! Yes Buffalo except she was a planned section! In at 7am and she was born at 9.23! I went home day after! This one will be a section too, especially since it's such a recent op. I did labour once with my eldest, 12 hours then an emcs. I decided I didn't want to go through it again x

I got my scan appt yesterday. 18th Jan when I'll be 11 weeks. Eek!!!

I'm staying quiet-ish while I wait for my scan on Xmas eve but still lurking! Spotting is very minimal now and still have all my symptoms. I wonder if 2 ERPCs has messed up my cervix or something and that's where the bleeding is coming from?! Clutching at straws maybe

Newby here, due roughly 24th August (I think!)
Midwife coming out 15th January.
Bad bad cramping last night, I was sure I was going to get my period!! too much information but going to the loo seemed to ease it!

I must say I am a ball of worry over it all, hoping all will go well.

dileas comforted to see you were given anti nausea mess. I've just made a gp appointment for later today to see if they will give me anything. Unrelenting nausea is really getting to me. I also accidentally told a my sister while I sobbed down the phone to her so she's going to come with me.
Scan tonight for me so hopefully there's a healthy wee bean in there to make the awfulness worth it!

No major pregnancy sickness here for me, but toddler has caught a bug and he spent last night suffering with vomiting and diarrhea then puked all over me and our bed this morning. Have about 3 loads of laundry to do and I'm petrified that I'm going to get his bug... over Christmas We're supposed to be flying to my parents in Scotland tomorrow. Please let it be a 24 hr thing.

Hi word - I've found this page to be really useful www.babycenter.com/community-help-abbreviations as I also thought everyone was talking in a different language! Some of the abbreviations really make me giggle!

I've been told that morning sickness is caused by the baby being dehydrated so I'm making sure to keep drinking plenty of water - so far its working for me!

Hee hee, Pipo I've also had bad cramping, yoga "wind pose" seems to be my saviour at the moment!!

Hey Lily, great to meet you! I was aiming for the 20th but based on my ov date and when we DTD it's adjusted to 21st though from friends' experience the dates are always out! Add 10 days to avoid lots of q's near DD! I haven't seen the dr yet, going after xmas. Let us know how it goes. Thanks for the abbrevs ViperGirl - can't be reminded enough and I've got surprisingly into them!

How are you all getting on? I've got my dating scan a week on Friday so I'm getting quite excited! In the meantime I'm moving house and applying for a promotion at work - loads going on!
I'm feeling much more human and less tired at week 9, thank goodness as I've got a lot going on!
