Hi just got my bfp! I'm early, 3 days before AF was due so not sure if I'm the only one with an August due date?

I'm due August 3rd Smile

Wow lots more bfp's! Congrats all!

Having a crap day. Felt sick and tired all day and now my almost one year old won't sleep and has spent all evening being a pest!

Today has been horrible. Full of cold/flu and the coughing makes the throwing up inevitable. My heads been pounding and I just don't have an appetite. Can't stop yawning but I just know I won't sleep tonight as I haven't managed doing anything all day.

OwlinaTree · 19/12/2015 23:08

Have had a very quiet day here, son was at gps overnight, we meet them halfway for lunch to collect him, then had a mooch round the house afternoon tidying up etc.

Watched the snowman with my son (21months). He sat on my lap and watched about 2/3 of it, was so lovely.

Does everyone have their tree up, or is the piney smell too nauseating?

Christinedonna · 19/12/2015 23:32

Ours is us but it's not real so very do able

SeriousStuff · 20/12/2015 00:48

More dark pink blood today. Feeling absolutely gutted and not sure what to do. Still 9 days til my scan and all I can really do is keep testing in case hgc is decreasing. Sorry to bring the thread down but just need an outlet.

Christinedonna · 20/12/2015 00:55

Have you not considered going to be scanned sooner?

SeriousStuff · 20/12/2015 01:58

Unfortunately they wanted to leave 2 weeks and I think were struggling for slots as it was because of Christmas. Plus, we're away now til the 27th with family 3 miles away...my MIL has offered, but because it would have to be internal, I really don't want to go there...

MissClarke86 · 20/12/2015 07:35

Sorry SeriousStuff Sad

I'm in a similar situation, waiting until the 29th for a rescan. The waiting is the hardest isn't it.

BuffaloCustardbath · 20/12/2015 08:35

So sorry Serious, try to keep positive for now, you just never know what may happen. Thinking of you xxx

OwlinaTree · 20/12/2015 08:47

Sorry serious, thinking of you

Flybynight1 · 20/12/2015 10:38

Glencoco and Serious thinking of you both and hoping things turn out for the better xx

Somnambulator · 20/12/2015 11:03

glencoco and serious thinking of you both. It must be hard going through all this uncertainty.

christine I am still unable to get out of bed with this darned sickness and cold/flu thing. Hope you get better soon!

Not seeming to keep anything down either.

Think going to work this week may be a write-off even at the expense of being not well liked!

Flybynight1 · 20/12/2015 11:13

How much weight gain is everyone seeing? I have had 4 pounds already and it's only week 7... I know I am mega bloated and eating makes me feel less sick but I can't help feel that I need to make an effort to ignore the carb cravings and look towards something else?!? I know I could easily get massively fat during pregnancy but really don't want to!

After a weekend of mega sleeps I am starting to feel like my normal self again Smile just a fatter version...

Flybynight1 · 20/12/2015 11:14

Som do what you have to do! You won't be much use in work anyway, and is don't suppose your colleagues would appreciate that much either x

Somnambulator · 20/12/2015 11:21

I've lost 5lb. Was 9 5lb before now a bit under 9. Think it's from all the vomming though. Hopefully my little blob will be doing okay regardless. Hopefully once I get my appetite back all will be well. Boobs have grown by 2 cup sizes from a C to a DD though. Very inconvenient Smile

Thanks fly I do realise this but I am a complete worry pot. Hate letting people down. My DH does keep telling me that I have to put myself and the pregnancy first at the minute though.

Rosa89 · 20/12/2015 11:38

Thinking of you both Coco and serious, hoping for the best for you both.

Hoping to track weight gain this time round. I sort of let myself go first time round then didnt lose all the baby weight. Want to make sure I do some regular exercise too.

FourForYouGlenCoco · 20/12/2015 11:59

Well I'm none the wiser, bleeding had completely stopped by bedtime last night and still stopped this morning, just a bit of brown which will be the old stuff left over. Still have all my symptoms although possibly reduced (might just be my
paranoid brain!). The baby is definitely still in there so I suppose I'm tentatively hanging around for a while; pregnant til proven otherwise!
Serious I really do feel for you. So, so hope everything works out Flowers
I find the best thing to do re: weight is just don't think about it! Keep half an eye on it, stay active but don't get hung up. There will be time to lose it all later. Babies like a bit of chub to snuggle up on anyway Grin

Christinedonna · 20/12/2015 12:59

Sending big hugs to everyone that needs it! I was up until 6am this morning, then fell asleep and woke up at 12 and haven't stopped throwing up since. This is getting more and more difficult. I've had to call in sick again and I feel so guilty for it!

ToElleWithIt · 20/12/2015 13:09

Thinking positive thoughts for you serious and glencoco hope your bubs stay put.

No weight gain here yet, but I expect the next week will address that Grin. Weight came off easily last time with the bf-ing and all the endless walking I did with baby! At least August will be a nice month if I end up with another baby who will only nap while in motion.

Welpcome to the new bfps.

Snap owlina our 20m DS was overnighting with his granny. Got a badly needed lie in. Tree up here. Love the smell. We're not even here for Christmas, but still wanted it up.

AlfieTheRailwayCat · 20/12/2015 13:35

fly I feel the same regarding carbs and feeling sick. I just cried this afternoon because I felt crap and then ate half a pizza and felt better. I'm worried I'm going to put on a lot too but it's only carbs that stop me feeling ill. With my phobia I will take weight gain over vomming though!

christine keep an eye out for dehydration! Make sure you try to drink water if you can.

BuffaloCustardbath · 20/12/2015 13:56

Sorry to hear about all the sickness ladies, I'm sure I have all of this to come soon enough. I had awful morning sickness from 10 weeks during my last pregnancy so I'm tentatively hoping that it stays away until at least then this time too. I think I'm going to go swimming this afternoon whilst DP and DD go to visit granny and grandad, regular exercise starts today Wink (we'll see how long that lasts!!)

Christinedonna · 20/12/2015 13:57

I had a dream about going to the gym last night. I've never been in my life. Probably my body telling me it wouldn't hurt!

Mslg · 20/12/2015 14:02

Hello everyone! I'm 7 weeks tomorrow, due August 8th. This is my second pregnancy, 1st ended in MC at 8 weeks. This time around have had slight nausea, bloating, mild cramping and constipation. Along with the complete exhaustion of course. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for this little one. Looki forward to speaking with you all along the journey 😬

Christinedonna · 20/12/2015 14:02

Congratulations mslg!

Jw35 · 20/12/2015 14:37

Serious Thanks
