It's sneeze birth's galore thanks to our fanny stretchers! We're soaking in piss and praying for Bat's hospital bag. We're avoiding our mens 'Annie Sloaners' and eating all the cake! It's JS Gras 39!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

bat that is your hormones talking! Do not listen. I repeat do not listen. It is possible Mr.Bat is a little freaked out about impending parenthood? Of all of those excuses, didn't want to start labour is the most telling IMHO. You are beautiful and you're going to be back to your old self in no time! Sending you Flowers and Cake

Aww thanks sky that nearly made me cry a little bit again! Yes he is definitely a bit freaked out by what is about to happen, we both are. I should really properly talk to him and say how I feel because hopefully I am being silly and he would reassure me, I'm just terrible at opening up. Except to strangers on the Internet of course haha. I also have a maternity photoshoot tomorrow which I'm dreading as I'm a terrible model at the best of times let alone when I feel like I look awful.

bat you beautiful bugger, don't let those awful hormone-induced-confidence-draining thoughts take over.

Being completely honest I think most men get a bit freaked out at the end. Once you are big and they know the baby is baby sized it's like they worry they will poke the baby in the eye. I blame the lack of brain cells for not understanding.

16 weeks today, and was doing our normal Saturday-morning-in-bed ritual. No not shagging, me reading out the Babycentre weekly update Grin.

It says I should expect to put on 12-14 pounds this trimester, to which DP replied, "You'll have no problem doing that" Shock

It also said the baby is the size of an avocado. Then in diet tips, recommended eating avocados! Shock

Feathered I was exhausted during the day up until about a week ago. Now I can stay awake all day, but start nodding off around 9pm (although I do wake early).

Aw bat what's up with us making each other cry?! Bless your heart BrewCake I know that sometimes I convince myself I look horrid and huge then other times I realize I don't even look especially pregnant... I think a great deal of how we see ourselves is in our heads. Perception vs reality IYSWIM. I'm glad you're doing the shoot, I treasure the photos of me at full team with DD. At the time I felt like a whale... But looking back it is such a beautiful memory. Even the pics of me stuffing my face with frites in Paris! If you're really freaking out about the shoot you could always do a baby today instead?! Grin

tea your morning is going better than mine... I've found that on mornings where the dcs aren't home is the only time I'm fresh enough to enjoy the sex with DP. I'm finding it harder to reach via usual practices so have begun to employ the small pretty pink heart shaped buzzy friend I bought in NYC which resulted in conception of current DC... Well this morning after polishing myself off with a little help from DP, he's rolled over and gone back to sleep ShockHmmConfused

Haha sky I think doing a baby today would be somewhat preferable to the photo session and that's saying something! This is why I am doing the shoot even though it is my worst nightmare - that I don't have any pics of me pregnant that I don't hate so if I can even get 1 or 2 that are nice for the memories then it will hopefully be worth it.

Oh dear sky you should wake him up again! Glad that there is hope of sex after kids at least Smile

I tried mild cajoling but he mumbles something about being elbowed in his sleep and how he was tired. So I've made a culpa and fixed myself breakfast. Vanilla cheesecake topped with marmalade.... Yum. Also, taking advantage of him being asleep to cull the DCs hoard of "art". DSD is not overly creative so she collects sticks, rocks, and motherloving SAND. And DD loves to write and draw and insists on keeping everything she's ever drawn... We've just been given an organizer and I'm going to town... Cue evil laugh.

Cheesecake and marmalade?!

My favorite thing is orange and vanilla together, like a Creamsicle. Bitter orange marmalade and vanilla cheesecake is delicious together. I'm going to really be obese after this baby comes out.

I'm shopping for myself 5hell and pud! Blush Been having a bit of a 'treat yoself' moment.

jelly nice one with the steak! I was gonna have a runny egg for lunch yesterday and wimped out at the last minute. And it was lion stamped.

bat I bet you're gorgeous! Sorry you're not feeling it. We haven't shagged a single time since I got upduffed (21+3 today) despite my efforts. Think DP was actually trying it on last night but I was full to the brim with curry so it didn't happen. Meh

managed spin this morning for the first time since about 5 weeks, then went to farm shop and spent a fortune on yummy goodies which will undo all my good work if when i eventually get to eat them...dh is busy shifting 3 tonnes of soil from the back garden and feel too guilty about not helping to eat without him!! :)

jelly you should do/eat all the things you don't do when dh is around...for me that'd be eating mackerel Confused, epilating, face mask, foot soak/scrub in front of the tv, and dodgy/cheesy films that I want to watch. enjoy!!

Well done 5hell, I managed parkrun this morning so I thought I'd better have a bacon sandwich.
With Brie. Which I didn't cook. Naughty Thursday.

Now it's a gloriously sunny day, DH &DS have gone out, I want to sit outside but I don't really like my neighbours who are fucking about on the roof opposite. Grrrr. Maybe I'll take the dog for a walk with my headphones in Grin

Yum hope you enjoyed the steak jelly - I had a medium steak too a few weeks ago, it was in a good restaurant and I just couldn't face ruining a lovely piece of meat! It was delicious and I survived Smile

Got some snow suits at the nearly new sale, gorgeous, can't wait to take baby for walks in them!

Just need small bits now that we can pick up in one go at mothercare or similar. And a car seat... spent an hour reading about car seats this morning until my brain hurt and then I gave up! Think we will be best just to go to the shops for a look.

pud or do what I did and send your DH out for one during labour when you remember you forgot to buy one!
My poor DP visited a lot of Argos stores that day!

Report
oneyorkshirepud · 26/09/2015 16:15

Ha! That will stress him out and I will need him to hold my hand! My Dad famously left my Mum in labour to go and buy an actual car as they had no car to get home in! (Apparently 'nothing was happening' so it was fine!)

I also got a nearly new chicco next to me from eBay for £90 so really pleased with that!
