Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I know it is quiet in here today. We've been out for lunch to the hotel where we got married which was lovely, and had a mooch round the village there.

We're on the evening hiccup run now. It's a regular thing where b refuses milk as he's full even though it's the only thing that gets rid of them!

I'm still on antibiotics so I can't have a glass of wine

honeysucklejasmine · 27/09/2015 07:04

Morning! I am snotty as fuck which is annoying. Oh wells. Going to in laws tonight so that should be nice. Smile Their house is beautiful, so hopefully it'll be warm enough to wonder the garden a bit.

First though I have to get 110 5-10 yos on a bus and off to a theme park. Not going with them but still need to harass parents for paperwork and make sure they all have my phone number for emergencies. Busy busy!

SecondCupOfTea · 27/09/2015 07:34

Oh God, that sounds like he'll honey.

I'm lying in bed waiting for DP to bring me my cup of tea.

ThursdayLastWeek · 27/09/2015 07:45

DS slept for a whole hour longer this morning!
Now he's in his cot vigorously telling something to go away but I don't know what Confused

Got bugger all planned today, anyone inspire me?

SecondCupOfTea · 27/09/2015 08:16

he'll was meant to be hell Blush

ThursdayLastWeek · 27/09/2015 08:26

S'ok Tea I got it Smile

How are you feeling? Isn't it fabulous to be in the second trimester at last?!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 27/09/2015 08:42

I'm still in bed with a sleeping DP who I demand cuddles me. I've been feeling baby move a little which has been lovely but I know pretty soon it will get intense and then I will start the worrying again... Looking forward to dinner tonight. DP doing a roast beef for me and DD. Yum.

ThursdayLastWeek · 27/09/2015 08:45

Roast beef!
That's what I want!

jellypi3 · 27/09/2015 09:28

Morning all :)

I was at a wedding yesterday. It was beautiful weather and a lovely day but I'm shattered now. Just devoured a bacon muffin and going to slum it in front of criminal minds until DP is home.

Sorry for trapped wind jc :( drink some peppermint tea.

Jcandy · 27/09/2015 10:05

I've run out of peppermint tea!! Forgot to buy some this week. Will definitely need to be on my list. Thankfully it must have dispersed itself overnight poor dp coz I'm feeling much better now.

I have roast beef for today! And syrup sponge pudding and custard for pudding Smile I've got to make it though coz dp will be making whoopie pies for the cake sale at his work tomorrow

29 weeks today Grin

SecondCupOfTea · 27/09/2015 10:09

I agree Thursday. I feel quite a lot better. Insomnia better, as although I still wake in the night and struggle to get back to sleep, at least I nod off when I first go to bed. Not needing (nor having the chance to) nap during the day either. Never had any MS, so that is all good.

I am feeling rather 'heavy' though, and sometimes feel like there's a bowling ball in my belly. Which I realise sounds odd, but having never been pregnant before, it's all rather new.

Got my 16 week appointment tomorrow, and a dildocam-scan the week after (to check my cervix is sticking to schedule).

SecondCupOfTea · 27/09/2015 10:12

Am jealous of you lot with yer roast beef! I love roast beef, but I like it very rare, so not bothering with it (or lamb). DP is doing roast chicken tonight with all the trimmings.

I'm currently having a bit of a cooking-and-freezing morning, making my 5 kilo chilli and 3 lasagnes. I have no idea if there is enough room in the freezer, but not optimistic!

oneyorkshirepud · 27/09/2015 10:29

Ooh jealous of you all with your roast dinners! It's our nephews' birthday parties today (both of them) so we will mostly be having pork pies and beetroot - big nephew's favourite. He a small man with big taste!

Yes Tea to having a bowling ball in your tummy! When baby pushes against the outside it feels weird!

Yey for 29 weeks JC it's starting to get scary now!

DH has been reading his expectant dads book and keeps telling me what he finds out. Very sweet!

FeatheredTail · 27/09/2015 11:14

Ta for all the advice viroids. I've forgotten who said they felt like shit until 14 weeks - er, WHAT?! At least I'm prepared then I guess!

Indigo I'm not a scot myself, although my FIL is Glasgow born so I enjoy picking up his expressions and doing impressions of him. The only one I've got totally wrong is when I asked him for a wee dram of gin and tonic. He said I had completely decontextualised the term 'wee dram' and asked that I never do so again. Smile

Promised to take DH for a roast at a lovely country pub later, seeing as I've been a complete bore all weekend, lolling around, whinging, demanding fizzy water/special flatbreads/ripe damsons/cucumber slices etc. I've taken advantage (but he's going with it, so am tempted to carry on).

Made waffles for breakfast with summer fruit compote. Kept it all down. Don't feel that sick yet.

#winning

FeatheredTail · 27/09/2015 11:15

.....catching up...,,prawns are allowed right?

FeatheredTail · 27/09/2015 11:16

More catch up: syrup sponge pudding JC! Hell yes!

honeysucklejasmine · 27/09/2015 11:49

Feathered fully cooked, yes. Enjoy!

JC can I recommended Silver Lantern Tea, which do a lovely peppermint. (And loads of others) Loose leaf and delicious. 100% times better than tea bags. Free delivery too.

5hell · 27/09/2015 13:03

oh feathered you breakfast, snack demands and roast plans sound lush!

tea i feel like I've got a heavy grapefruit (or maybe a crown green bowls bowling ball) in my abdomen. v strange that i can now feel my uterus above my pubis Shock

off to see my family for first time since i told them the "big news", so should be a nice afternoon. No roasts on the cards here though.

CarrotPuff · 27/09/2015 13:10

I don't like roast beef so I'm not jealous Wink Will probably have a fish finger wrap for dindins tonight, which I know doesn't sound exciting, but it does for me Grin

Just came back from park walk and will probably stay in for the rest of the day watching rugby. Shame matches are not as exciting today.

DP is pouncing on me but he was out lady night and his hangover breath is revolting. So he's got no chance unless it goes away by the evening and I'm not too knackered...

Hope you and J are ok Ga xx

batfish · 27/09/2015 13:59

Ooh tea can you send some of that cooking motivation my way? I suppose now I'm on maternity leave I should do all those things that I was going to do on maternity leave - one of them was bulk cooking for the freezer. So far I have 5 portions of bolognese, that's not going to keep us alive for long.

Speaking of maternity leave - what is etiquette re husbands? Am I supposed to make him dinner? I've been such a crap lazy layabout recently and he has been so good letting me rest so I feel like I should try and be a good little wifey in the few days that I have left! But I can't really be arsed, hmm. Had the worst night's sleep last night, might attempt the wife thing tomorrow!

SecondCupOfTea · 27/09/2015 14:12

5hell Yeah, I meant crown green, rather than ten pin.

Bat, I'd encourage you to get cooking, but could you please just get your bag packed first? Grin

batfish · 27/09/2015 14:23

I think it's mostly there tea - got all the essentials in there! Just missing clothes (but I do have nightwear) and toiletries - but a lot of that stuff is what I will put in at the last minute as it is what I am using daily. I went to hospital last night as baby had been a bit quiet all day and I took my half packed bag and totally forgot my notes, let's hope I sort my shit out before I'm responsible for another human!

Tomorrow then I'll start cooking. Why aren't I nesting???

ThursdayLastWeek · 27/09/2015 14:31

Hello!
I can't be arsed to actually cook roast beef so we stopped at tesco and picked up a ready cooked chicken for tea instead Grin

Just had a lovely walk around a local NT garden, DDog and DS both very well behaved - we walked for miles. Beautiful day here but I'm knackered now!

ThursdayLastWeek · 27/09/2015 14:31

Nesting is vvv over rated bat

batfish · 27/09/2015 14:46

Mmm love ready cooked chicken. Unfortunately here all of the chickens are anorexic, it's so weird. However that's just when you buy a whole chicken - if you buy chicken breasts they are absolutely bloody enormous, it's bizarre. I imagine a mutant chicken farm out in the desert where chickens the size of labradors roam.

thursday I think you're right. I just kind of hoped that my wardrobes would get sorted out or something at least and that I would actually enjoy doing it! SIL reported painting her whole house and generally becoming wonderwoman when on mat leave so I think mr bat is hoping to come home to a scene from Stepford Wives. Sadly he will find me where he left me earlier on, I can't even be arsed to get up to switch the lights on. Thank goodness I had the sense to bring chocolate with me to the sofa when I stationed myself here.
