Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Molly suppose it depends what time of day it is an if gym is open. But we'll worth a look if you can sneak in to rehab side. There's no guards on the door or anything. It's a pretty cool room with some neat kit! All the wards are named for UK saints. Cafe was called Jimmy's... Imagine it isn't anymore!!

Glad your scan went well fruit Smile

Thanks viroids, I will do the stats on my computer tomorrow.
Oh bat that's something to look forward to! Although my dh is a ridiculously hot sweaty person so he'd probably just be glad that I have a taste of what life is like for him. Don't you live in a hot country though? Surely sweaty arses are forgiven there anyway!

Ah sky it's not your fault my dear. I'd like to think nothing bothered me about it any more but I know better than to become complacent.

purple you're brilliant. As such be lovely to yourself. You are doing what's best for your baby and you.

pud no, because it'll mean arguing with them and I don't have the spoons to fight for myself at the moment. Working up to it!

Ooh bat not long now. I'll put my pompoms through the wash so they're all ready for you.

Ow I've got horrible back pain and it's pissing me off. When I whinged on here the other day about the pain coming on that I've had before - well it's not gone away so I seem to have a constant pain in the left hand side of my back - never had back pain before so not sure what to do about it! Guess it is just a side effect of carrying this massive belly around but I don't think it's something I can put up with for long! Even though some people much braver than me suffer horribly all the way through pregnancy.......

fruit yep I'm in a hot country but we have AC so I have no excuse really! Have been hearing the week for the first time about the post birth sweats, that all sounds lovely Shock

My back is also still hurting. It's super low down but also getting the pain in my hips and public bone. DP is away all weekend and I'm off for a wedding.

yay! hey fruit glad I guilted you into making a proper appearance, and even more glad for your good scan! Grin ...how many weeks are you now?

went to bed ridiculously early last night, so feeling fairly perky this morning (if you ignore the nausea). had an odd dream about a colleague dying; said colleague is away for over a week now and i have to do his job and mine until the 5th!!!! I'm not saying I want him to die obviously, but perhaps it was an expression of my frustration/irritation/exasperation with him?! he's also narrow minded, socially awkward, has dreadful BO, and takes no responsibility for things

bat any chance a massage/physio/swimming might help the back pain?

bat it's horrid isn't it. I've had to call in sick today as I'm feeling so rubbish and hurting so bad. I'm hoping this flare breaks soon and it's not going to be like this for the rest of the pregnancy!

I think I'm going to get an epi no. I definitely need some help with pelvic floor exercises. Had a rather embarrassing "incident" and I can't take any more! Blush

temporary de-lurk

Hello viroids, I'm after some advice.... I feel SO. ROUGH. Mum constantly tired and feel nauseous 80% of the time.

Work is demanding, but no more than usual. By the time I'm on the train home I feel like a zombie. A zombie that's about to puke on the man opposite.

I haven't actually been sick yet. I'm getting worried that I'm starving my rice sized mini feather by only feeding him/her shit. All I can stomach is white bread, crumpets, bagels, tomatoes on toast and other white stodge. The other day I didn't feel sick for a whole hour whilst at work so trotted out to the fancy health food place and got a massive portion of chilli and brown rice. Inhaled it. Then spent the afternoon practically lying down.

Part of me is LOVING feeling pregnant and I'm trying to use it as a positive sign. But frankly....I'm worried I'm going to turn grey, gain 50 stone and give birth to a carb addict at this rate.

When did you stop feeling like utter shit? I'm 6+2.

sneezes

Any advice welcome you lovely lot.

slinks out again.

aww feathered i remember it all too well. Honestly it's perfectly normal. The first trimester is horrible, you feel totally drained of energy (I would get in from work, have a nap, then eat dinner before going to bed). Remember you are undergoing a massive change and your hormones are literally all over the place.

Don't fret over what you are eating. Just eat what you can. I needed carbs those first 8 20 weeks, my body literally wouldn't operate without them. It will pass eventually. Anything you eat is good for bean, just remember to take your folic acid and if you can stomach them then multi vitamins. That's the most important thing.

Take care of yourself :)

Aww feathered sorry to hear you're feeling to crap. With regards to your diet - I have eaten utter shit for my entire pregnancy, I think my body would go into shock at the sniff of a piece of broccoli. I feel a bit bad that my child is forever going to be an addict of crap food but I'm just hoping I can encourage good habits when he/she starts eating proper food! Weirdly though I haven't gained a humongous amount of weight - I've gained more than I should have (2st 4lb at last check) but I deserve to have gained a lot more. It's going to be so difficult to cut out the crap when the baby has been born!

Ooh ga I love all this positive epi-no talk, I got to 8.75cm yesterday - totally going to sue if I don't have a sneeze birth.

Hi Feathered, I feel your pain. I was SO TIRED in the first tri, it was horrible. Nauseous too but not too bad if I kept eating. Carbs, water and fruit were all I wanted. But I do now feel much much better so it will go away. I told a couple of trusted colleagues at work v early so that I had support if I needed it/needed to go home ill. Don't be afraid to take time off if you need it. Nutrition wise baby will take everything it needs, just eat what you can stomach for now and make healthy choices when you feel up to it.

Oh and did I miss the bit in antenatal class where they tell you that after 8 months you're supposed to remain housebound? Went to brunch today (you know those ones you read about in the Daily Mail where everyone drinks too much free flowing champagne and gets involved in public sex scenes before getting fired, shamed and deported).....and there were a few friends of friends there - and many of them when finding out I am due to give birth in 9 days hopefully longer were like OMG what are you doing here?! Well I'm not doing the champagne and public sex thing so why not!!?
