Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Lil worrying will not affect the outcome but we do know for sure that stress is the enemy. So you must, for your baby's sake, stop yourself from spiraling now. Today you are pregnant. You are pregnant until further notice. Be kind to yourself and try to stay balanced. It is likely this is the calm before the storm of early pregnancy symptoms which you may have none or all of... Enjoy feeling well.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 13/10/2015 22:30

And a big hug from me too BrewCake

honeysucklejasmine · 13/10/2015 22:35

Ah, I remember the days of wishing for symptoms for reassurance. And then bitterly regretting it a few weeks later, and now feeling sorry for poor naive little Honey of the past, as I continue to vomit at 21 weeks whilst on anti sickness medication. Hmm

Of course it doesn't stop me wishing for regular movements, which I am sure I will also come to regret when I get a foot in the rib or a stamped on bladder.

We never learn!

pretzelpieces · 13/10/2015 22:38

pud Grin Ooh and I want to hear all about your new pillow formation and its success or failure in the morning.

lildottie · 13/10/2015 23:14

Thanks all. Actually feeling mildly queasy, but that's probably lying down after eating half a tub of frozen yoghurt for ya! Hopefully tomorrow I'll wake up less freaked out!

Also interested in puds pillows!

WouldRatherHaveCake · 13/10/2015 23:18

Told 2 people in work today that I'm having another boy. One said congratulations and the other said "oh. Well never mind, you can always try again" Hmm

fruitlovingmonkey · 14/10/2015 05:35

Big hug lil, it's so hard not to worry. Hang in there and remember that this pg is totally different from the last.
Bloody hell would why do they care what flavour it is?!

oneyorkshirepud · 14/10/2015 07:05

Ha! Would people are so rude!

Okay, new pillow formation: Dream geni as usual, foam pillow for head plus foam pillow to extend the back bit of the dream geni and stops me rolling onto my back. So so standard. I added in a squishy pillow horizontally across the middle and squished it right down in the middle. So I had support in front and behind of Le Bump. Definitely worked well but I got annoyed with it and chucked it on the floor about 1 am. This was a mistake as I woke up with a bad back at 3am and haven't been back to sleep! Grumpy pud! I shall keep the new pillow in tonight and see if that helps!×

honeysucklejasmine · 14/10/2015 07:32

Would that is so rude! Shock

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/10/2015 07:46

would it's shame you have to work with people who are such obvious morons. Can't be easy for you Wink don't listen to people who say nonsense shit like that. Laugh at them.

Good going Tri! How's the bump getting along?

lil just you freak out here and let us reassure you. Worst thing to do is fret alone. We all need some love and advice from time to time.

I can confirm proper French butter with actual salt crystals in it in toast is what I would like to eat for the rest of my life thanks.

Today we're off out to be tourists in search of crab sandwiches, it's looking like it's going to be a beautiful day down here.

jellypi3 · 14/10/2015 07:47

Wow would that's shocking. I'd have told them to do one.

lil can only echo the others. Try not to worry. Symptoms can and do fluctuate. How do you feel this morning?

pud that sounds amazing. My pillow set up also got thrown on the floor last night but I soon picked it up again.

I'm really tired today and have no real reason for it. Work will be a struggle!

God Would I would have told that person where to go. As much as I'd like a girl at some stage, I would love my DS to have a brother. Brotherly bond and all that.

lil, hooyah woman, today you are pg, worrying won't change anything, so enjoy lack of bloat and normal boobs while it lasts!

pud I'm v jel of your pillow formation. I'm planning to buy a couple single duvets over the weekend and make long sausages out of them to support myself.

TriJo · 14/10/2015 08:01

Thursday Surprisingly active for 17+3 with an anterior placenta! Quite a lot of fluttering in the left side of my bump this week. I feel huge for only being this far along though. 2 weeks to my scan from tomorrow and I can't wait to see the little one again :)

batfish · 14/10/2015 08:04

lil in the early weeks I was SO stressed and worried because I had no symptoms - I had sore boobs but some days they would be better - and I had literally nothing else. I worried so much that it was a bad sign because you hear everyone say 'ooh nausea is a positive sign of a healthy pregnancy' blah blah - but I had none of it and here I am at 97 weeks pregnant. Nothing we can say can stop you worrying especially after the journey you've been on but I can promise that symptoms or lack of isn't a sign of a healthy pregnancy or otherwise. Everything crossed for you, time must be going incredibly slowly for you right now.

Well I'm still preggo. 2nd acupuncture session yesterday did sod all, I did say to mr bat yesterday 'I'm afraid you're going to have to shag me' and then freaked him out by reminding him that it could be the last time before my vagina is ruined forever. But then I was knackered so we didn't bother, really should tonight! I woke up this morning to frequent Braxton Hicks and my tummy felt really sore and I thought ooh maybe something will happen - but all seems to have settled down now and I'm feeling totally normal again, wonderful!

Jcandy · 14/10/2015 08:10

I managed to sleep ok last night (after two terrible nights) by using a graduated set of three pillows to put my head and shoulders on so I was propped up and therefore less likely to drip snot everywhere with my sausage pillow between my legs. Even when I inevitably rolled on my back I was propped up so didn't feel so bad. Yours just sounds genius though pud

lil you are pregnant and I promise you we have all said "I'm worried about my symtoms" to have then been thrown fully into symptom hell a short time later. It will come!

would what an idiot!

WouldRatherHaveCake · 14/10/2015 08:22

97 weeks pregnant Grin bat time to get shagging and dancing and bouncing. Perhaps all at the same time?!

Thanks all, I was a bit Shock and just ended up saying I was actually really chuffed and was happy to be outnumbered by dinosaurs and tractors.

batfish · 14/10/2015 08:49

So those of you who are mums already....I realise that all mums would kill for a day like I have today - all to myself with nothing to do. So I should really try to avoid spending it waiting for labour to happen and being annoyed that it isn't. What would you do on your last ever alone day? Hubby has a day off work tomorrow. Nails are already done, I'm not a bath person, I should do a bit of tidying....but otherwise the world is my oyster!

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/10/2015 08:53

Book, bath, fancy lunch, nap, nice walk somewhere, some sort of combo of those things

batfish · 14/10/2015 09:05

Maybe I will try a bath even though I haven't had one for literally years! (I do shower Shock ) Lunch is going to be a cheese and broccoli bachelors pasta n sauce - gross I know but I love them so it's a treat! Too hot to walk outside but I'll sit on my ball to simulate walking! We are going to a friend's for a BBQ tonight so at least I have a reason to get dressed haha

Niffertiti · 14/10/2015 10:07

I'm going to avoid another epic catch up but have just read everyone's news. My news is I'm almost there - one 11 hour flight done and just transferring to final 90 min flight. Hoorah! Microniff clearly has views on flying, she kicked me all night. Not sure whether that means she likes it or not, but it was mildly inconvenient on an overnight flight! Confused

fruitlovingmonkey · 14/10/2015 10:21

Bat what about a facial?
I'm very jealous of these pillow set ups. At what stage did you all buy the dream genii?
I didn't sleep much last night, despite the lovely new bed. Was a bag of nerves before my doctor's appointment. It went well, I stupidly went to pee when I arrived because the nurse said I could but it meant my uterus was really low so the doc couldn't get a good look in profile. Anyway, we saw most of the component parts of the baby seperately, just didn't get a look at its face. It was moving loads, arms and legs everywhere. Also heard the heartbeat which was amazing. I've got my nuchal scan on Friday so hopefully will get a photo that isn't just a leg!
lil I wondered why my nausea had gone away yesterday but this morning I threw up in my mouth! I'm sure the sore boobs will come back, probably at an inconvenient time.

fruitlovingmonkey · 14/10/2015 10:23

Thursday have an extra crab sandwich for me please! Mmmmm

batfish · 14/10/2015 10:33

Ah fruit glad your appt went well even if position not great, amazing that you got to hear the heartbeat Smile I don't actually like facials for some reason, it annoys me paying for someone to put cream on my face then wipe it off again and then repeat! Weird I know.

niff how exciting, you've nearly arrived for your new adventure!! Last time I flew the baby kicked like mad too, I guess they feel the pressure or something!

pretzelpieces · 14/10/2015 11:09

I loled at 97 weeks pregnant bat Oh you poor thing. Glad you are making the most of your alone time with pasta n sauce. I like the ham and leek one. Don't like baths either.

Yay for a good scan fruit

I've got a rotten cold and managed to spill almost a pint of water over the bed at 4am, none of which made for a good night's sleep.

DP has the day off so I'm making him drive me to my social worker and midwife appointments. I'm 24 weeks today, which as jelly said herself last week, feels like a real milestone!

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/10/2015 11:12

Roger that fruit, though we're going to a tourist Mecca (Port Isaac) so we'll probably only be able to afford one between us Grin

Poor pretzel, hopefully your appts will help your day get better.
