Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

How many and how often? freaking out

jellypi3 · 13/10/2015 18:58

Thanks JC,my midwife has actually left my doctors so they said to call the hospital for advice, might see if she picks up later. She's maybe changed position. I tried laying on my side but didn't get much more feeling out of it.

lil 3 times a day I think

batfish · 13/10/2015 19:13

lil I have done no pelvic floor exercises, shit!! I am hoping mine is still intact because I (touch wood) haven't peed my pants at all! I'm sure I'll probably be incontinent forever after birth and be wishing I had been doing them.

pretzelpieces · 13/10/2015 19:14

Glad you're feeling a bit more able to eat feathered.

Get well soon jc!

Glad your first day went well carrot and gx for a good scan tomorrow.

bat I'm glad the curry didn't give you ring of fire.

jelly do you think she's been quiet cause you couldn't eat much today cause of gtt?

Re daisy birthing, I just find it really stressful! And I have to drive there, and I am scared of driving. I am going to go anyway because I think it'll be helpful but counting down the sessions and glad I only have to do 6.

Jcandy · 13/10/2015 19:15

I've seen some that recommend 7 times a day like anyone would do that ever but 2 or 3 times should do it as long as you do a mix of long and short holds. I started off well but after 2 weeks stopped and haven't really done any since.......

jelly I think that's what happened to me. Baby had changed position, when I really concentrated I could feel something but because it was nothing like what I was used to I panicked

jellypi3 · 13/10/2015 19:16

Weirdly i was at a client lunch today with another pg lady and my boss was there talking about pelvic floors lol...embarrassing! Must remember to do them more.

Baby started wriggling around again thankfully. I think she had moved position because suddenly I am feeling thumps in my chest as well as low down. Very weird feeling.

OP posts:
rdm10 · 13/10/2015 19:46

jelly, glad baby is wriggling again, think they do it just to freak us out!!

I really must start some pelvic floor exercises!

I had a 36 wk scan today to check on the size of ginormobaby and it's staying true to its name and is currently weighing 8lb!!! I'm too scared to even think how big it'll be in 4 more weeks!?

WouldRatherHaveCake · 13/10/2015 19:53

Glad she is moving again jelly, buy out of curiosity how long did you lie on your left side for? Hospital told me to have an icy drink and then lie on left side for an hour!

lildottie · 13/10/2015 19:53

Tbh I hasn't thought about is because when I had et my muscles were so tightthe speculum barely stayed in! Consultant said I'm unlikely to suffer with a prolapse. Still must try to at least do some! Not like I'm doing any other exercise!

bat what crazy eviction techniques have you tried today? Cod liver oil?

jelly hope bub kicks the shit out of you soon so you can stop worrying!

5wks today and still pg! Though I haven't poastodayto confirm that. It dawned on me today I must be pg because I'm not bleeding. Stupidly obvious but with being dosed up on Christ knows what for months it hadn't really dawned on me!

jellypi3 · 13/10/2015 20:07

would not too long to be fair, I don't think I could sit still that long lol.

Yay for 5 weeks lil, 2 weeks to go till scan

carrot I was hoping for vbac though am philosophical about elcs now if necessary. One of the big things about vbac was giving me a chance of being home same day, especially as will be around Christmas and ds etc. However because there's questions over group b strep last time I found out today I'll be in at least 24 hours anyway. So very much going with flow now, nothing else to be done! Extra scans would be good though!

jelly so glad you've felt some wiggles, so worrying when they go quiet!

Pelvic floor...yeah not so much. I HATE the way they feel they make me twitch! Got 'lucky' after ds (thank you c section for keeping my foof daisy fresh) but should probably take them a bit more seriously this time just in case!

honeysucklejasmine · 13/10/2015 20:39

I haven't felt any stretching or movements for a few days but then I was never 100% sure that's what it was anyway. I am 21 weeks tomorrow so not really worried yet, think it's a bit early for fatties to feel anything

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 13/10/2015 20:40

jelly try not to worry. Babies sleep all but 2 hours a day in the womb. Perhaps jellybaby moves while you're sleeping?

bat it might be time to call Mr.Bat into action in the name of evicting batlet Grin

molly gx for you you don't have to have another GTT. Childcare can be so tricky. I hate asking for help with DD.

OK so speaking of gigantababies... Mini sky has been felt from the outside today by both me and DP. This is not a stealth boast. This is terrifying. I'm 17 weeks 1 day today and I have a very adequate layer of fat on my tummy... This child is huge! Please someone else tell me this has happened to them? Not possible for dates to be off.

jellypi3 · 13/10/2015 20:50

Wow that is early sky, loving all these ginorma-baby's feel sorry for the foofs though

OP posts:
ThursdayLastWeek · 13/10/2015 21:28

Not from the outside yet sky at 19 weeks tomorrow.
Sorry.

MollyBloomYes · 13/10/2015 21:30

Sky maybe it's just riiiiiiiight at the front displacing all the fluid? We felt ds and this one on outside at 19 weeks if that helps?!

MollyBloomYes · 13/10/2015 21:39

And I quite liked ds being ginormous, straight into a Grobag, straight into 0-3 months clothes so they lasted longer, fed incredibly efficiently and delightfully solid snuggling in! I couldnt birth him because he was an awkward bugger and turned right at the last minute in my pelvis, not because he was simply too big to fit, though admit that probably didn't help once he'd turned, he got proper wedged. But overall I enjoyed having a big un fear not Smile

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 13/10/2015 21:41

A quick search on baby center confirms it isn't completely unusual. I'm still terrified for me fanny though Sad

pretzelpieces · 13/10/2015 22:09

jelly glad baby is on the move again.

rdm I reckon you'll pop at about 37 weeks, you're clearly just very efficient at growing babies! Grin

I have a cold and I'm fed up Sad
Went to chuffing daisy birthing and drove there with my chuffing birthing ball. sulks
Did a fart during the class Blush

lildottie · 13/10/2015 22:11

3 weeks jelly :(

Ok so having a freak out. My boobs feel smaller and I'm not as bloated. Someone say something lil like to me. I can't seem to give myself decent advice.

pretzelpieces · 13/10/2015 22:14

lil symptoms come and go! Look on the bright side, your tits will probably be killing you tomorrow and you'll be bloated as hell! Hmm gentle hooya

lildottie · 13/10/2015 22:22

pretzel I didn't realise boob size could fluctuate!! Surely the fact I'm on a constant dose of prog should reduce fluctuations? God how am I going to get through the next 3 weeks!

pretzelpieces · 13/10/2015 22:26

You'll get through it with lots of handholding from us and frequent freak outs which you are certainly entitled to. Unmumsnetty hugs x

TriJo · 13/10/2015 22:28

Still swimming and running here at 17 weeks, the only thing I've stopped is cycling because London traffic is too scary and I can't get comfortable on my road bike these days. Was at my tri club swim session this evening and felt absolutely great :)

oneyorkshirepud · 13/10/2015 22:28

Lil, symptoms definitely come and go try not to worry if you can help it.

Snigger, Pretzel I wish you were at my daisy birthing class, we could giggle and trump together at the back!

Sleep time. New pillow formation.
