Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Thursday I have managed to get up and eat breakfast. Stop making me feel bad! Wink

ThursdayLastWeek · 13/10/2015 10:33

Hahah sorry honey if it's any comfort I'm very much a morning person - yesterday I fell asleep on the sofa with DS sitting on me watching CBeebies in the afternoon. It's basically my plan to do that again later Grin

lildottie · 13/10/2015 10:57

Things I will not be doing whilst pregnant.
No 1 RUNNING!!! Are you totally mental???!!!!! I wouldn't run before i was pregnant though! :D

ThursdayLastWeek · 13/10/2015 11:00

Aah but if you like it anyway it's basically therapy Smile
It's a beautiful clear day here, the dog needed taking out anyway, stick a podcast in, don't see another human being for 40mins...'ansum as we say round these parts!

People always were surprised to find out I carried in running after I had DS - I'm like...'you can't hear them if you're 2 miles away' Grin

FeatheredTail · 13/10/2015 11:04

I miss running so much, but the idea of running right now seems as likely as my taking a trip to the moon. I want my energy back! Jealous Thursday!

Do you think it would be OK to go jogging once - if - I get to my second trimester? I've been too scared to move much at all so far (and too sick and tired) but don't think it could be a bad thing (ex-marathoner, so not new to it).

gaggiagirl · 13/10/2015 11:06

sky ooh ooh I ve had dill pickle potato chips before, they are bloody gorgeous. I've had Swedish ones and Pringle ones. Yum.

ThursdayLastWeek · 13/10/2015 11:09

If you were doing it before you got pregnant there's no reason why not, so long as you're careful Feathered. Maybe one day go for a walk but in trainers and the right bra and then if you fancy a little jog try it for 10 mins?

It really is LOADS harder to run though, so lower your expectations considerably! My lungs are better now, but during my first tri I thought they were going to burst! Oxygen sucking parasite in my womb, I'm looking at you Grin

Much slower and shorter distances.

My tummy does feel odd when I run sometimes - hence the wee stop this morning, but it didn't relieve the pressure really. I'm certain the benefits of the gentle cardio and mental relaxation outweigh any brief discomfort for me. It's a v personal thing though isn't it?

jellypi3 · 13/10/2015 11:25

They do say be careful running in the later weeks too because of the extra weight and the impact on your knees. And your center of balance is out so it's important to be careful not to fall over.

GTT done. That was torture. My arm feels like it's been twisted in half. Still I've just scoffed a tangerine and a chicken bake, now for lunch Wink

Baby is being quiet today.

Only exercise I do is swimming but I'm not allowed to do it atm! Hoping I'll be given the green light after scan as I feel like a fat heffer atm! I'm not a fan of exercise though so I'm not complaining too much!

jellypi3 · 13/10/2015 11:32

Fingers crossed lil. I want to go swimming but time is a commodity I don't have at the moment, once we move I hope to go a bit!

ThursdayLastWeek · 13/10/2015 11:36

As the weeks go on I certainly won't be running alone anymore just in case

batfish · 13/10/2015 12:04

Wow running is seriously impressive, I've been the laziest ever since getting upduffed. I wasn't much better before though, I've always hated exercise, wish I didn't.

Hope baby gets wriggling soon jelly!

honeysucklejasmine · 13/10/2015 13:00

No Jelly, you mean to say that gtt was a piece of cake and you're happy to do it again immediately. Right? RIGHT?!

batfish · 13/10/2015 13:19

Actually honey - they should give us cake instead of that nasty drink!

MollyBloomYes · 13/10/2015 14:30

Ugh. Gtt results from midwife today. Lab has filed them as normal but she thinks they're high and supervisor of midwives agrees, especially in light of previous large baby etc. Waiting for diabetic midwife to get back to her then she'll let me know plan. Could just mean extra growth monitoring (so more scans yippee!) or could mean ANOTHER BLOODY GTT. Must admit I'm mostly worried about childcare rather than the test itself, DS is not a child to sit quietly in a waiting room for two hours colouring (mind you, what 17 month old is?)

Conversely my bump is measuring two weeks too small. Fml.

honeysucklejasmine · 13/10/2015 15:46

Omg, everyone would be happy with a big thick slice of chocolate fudge cake instead....

Molly how annoying! Gx for more scans.

pretzelpieces · 13/10/2015 16:47

Ugh molly how annoying. If your bump is measuring under rather than over and you feel okay that seems positive?

Looking forward to gtt even less now!

Got daisy birthing tonight and I don't want to go! stamps feet

Jcandy · 13/10/2015 17:05

Mmm chocolate cake.....

Oh why not pretzel?

Still feel like poop. All the coughing and sneezing is proving to me how truly terrible my pelvic floor really is Confused should have done my exercises!

FeatheredTail · 13/10/2015 17:08

Thanks for heads up and good tips Thursday - although the idea of going for a run right now is sadly hilarious to me mirthless laugh

NFMS (news from my stomach): felt hungry this morning so packed away - a slice of toast, M&S feta and slow roast tomato pasta, packet of crisps, tangerine and slice of birthday cake. SCORE! Haven't eaten so much for ages! Nausea now creeping in, but not as badly as this time yesterday!

Molly - at least you get more scans, that's got to be positive right?

CarrotPuff · 13/10/2015 17:27

Thursday I'm v impressed with your running and extremely jealous of you bring a morning person! I'm not, and never will be... So the universe had punished me with an early riser!

Molly gx you just get the scans and all is good. I guess the ELCS must be comforting even if you might have a whopper?

Honey just imagine it's hot chocolate and you'll be grand!

Aww JC I hope you feel better soon!

Bat if curry doesn't give you runs it's pointless. The theory behind eating it is that it will give you a clear out which will create some space for baby to move down and thus kick start labour.

I've survived my first day at work. It was ok. Had a bit of a panic last night as bump seemed v obvious in everything. But it got smaller again in the morning. I do need some smarter clothes though...

Anomaly scan tomorrow. Baby kicking away, and DP felt it move last night too, so feel strangely calm about it.

ThursdayLastWeek · 13/10/2015 17:33

Oh molly it can be so frustrating when results seem to be open to interpretation can't it? I, really surprised at how much emphasis some MWs put on bump measurements - it's seems to me like the most in exact science. I hope it all works out in the most convenient way for you Smile

Go anyway pretzel I'm sure you'll feel better if you do.
Although I skipped Pilates last week so who am I to talk?! It's starting to get uncomfortable now, I'm glD it's not recommended after 20weeks.

Hope you start to feel better soon jc - my pelvic floor can't handle my colds anymore either, and I do the exercises. Well...sporadically.

fruitlovingmonkey · 13/10/2015 17:59

That's annoying Molly hope you get some extra scans out of it.
Well done Feathered sounds like you did well getting some proper food in before the nausea kicked in.
Sorry you feel bad JC, hope you get better soon.
Well done for getting through your first day Carrot.
Why can't you swim lil? Is it just swimming you aren't allowed or any exercise? I have only been walking so far. I just got horrible cramps whilst out walking ddog. I'm trying not to worry but it was worse than anything I've had so far. I came back home to lie down and DH is coming home early to walk ddog who looked a bit miffed when I dragged him back 10 minutes after leaving the house. The plus side is our new bed was delivered today so at least I have a comfy place to lie and feel sorry for myself.

jellypi3 · 13/10/2015 18:01

Don't worry honey I'm being a bit dramatic. It was just long and left me feeling shit. I'm so so tired now. On my way home from work with a fuzzy brain lol.

molly hope you don't need another GTT!

Thanks bat she's made the odd movement but not much but I'm trying not to think about it. I think I'm too early for the hospital to listen to me about reduced movement.

lildottie · 13/10/2015 18:22

fruit I wasnt allowed after et because of infection risk. Now they just said don't just in case. Said don't change anything I've been doing. I don't do any other exercise so am not starting as they say only to do if you're used to. Hope the cramps have passed.

So shit, I need to do pelvic floor exercises?

Jcandy · 13/10/2015 18:39

Yes lil do them, do them now whilst there's still hope!!

Have you done the driving a cold drink lying on your side thing jelly? My midwives let me come in for a check up at 24 weeks but they said they wouldn't send me for monitoring until I reached 28 weeks. Baby Candy started wriggling pretty much as soon as we left the midwife. Definitely phone them if you're concerned
