Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Oh how mean! Last time I was asked.

Right viroids, care to place any bets on the flavour?!
DC1 is a boy
Much more nausea this time.
DTD before ovulation
Bump is different shape (although DS was transverse so I don't think that counts)
Ridiculously spotty this time.
Av heart rate of 152, DS was 130
Gender chart shite says girl

I say boy again!!

jellypi3 · 12/10/2015 08:26

CHUNDER not counter.

honey what a cow! Will you get a private scan done to find out?

OP posts:
lildottie · 12/10/2015 08:35

ga I think murder would be justified! Forget the chores, just veg out! You mentalist.

niff scan 3/11 so will know if its twins then.

bat I do the the progesterone pessaries (or bum bullets as the mn ivfers affectionately call them!) Have alot to do with it.

I'm going to try to get back on track with healthy eating today. I'm aware I need to make the most of food while I can! Will get some peppermint tea when I do the food shop though and give it a go.

Did another frer this morning. Was almost too scared to look at it but I'm still pg! And line looks as dark, if not darker than control line! Feels good to be a day past where we were before it started going wrong last time. Think I'm going to leave it a week without testing now. Next week I'm breaking out the digi in the hopes of seeing 3+!!

bat glad you've done the hospital bag! Now just chill and tell yourself you're ready, and you CAN do this!

pretzelpieces · 12/10/2015 10:49

Sorry for the super fast reply, I'm running out the door, but have rtft!

You only have to have a gtt if you're considered at risk ie they've found something in your urine, or in my case my sister is diabetic.

FeatheredTail · 12/10/2015 10:49

Eugh, boak at smell of energy drink Jelly - I could chunder just thinking about it!

Honey what a grumpy moose your sonographer is!

Would - I'm going girl. What time is your scan?

Congrats on getting past last time's scary point Lil. I know the fear and feels good to be away from it.

I keep repeating myself as I'm on both threads, but I have my dating scan booked in for 5 November! I'm so excited/terrified. I just want the next three weeks to just hurry the hell up! I had to make up excuses as to why I wasn't drinking at my birthday lunch (funny tummy - actually wasn't making that up, my stomach is reacting BADLY to all the lucozade/shit after years of chia seed flipping smoothies and spinach) and I just want to be able to share happy news!

lildottie · 12/10/2015 11:29

feathered we can count down and have scanxiety together as mine is sane week as yours but on 3rd. At least your getting it bang on 12wks and not having to wait to 13!

Consultant called, can't make gp give me more pessaries and can't give me scrip himself. Did point out I can get it free once I'm registered with me but I pointed out I couldn't do that until he discharged me after scan helpful

In other news I feel a bit sick, and I'm very happy about it!

FeatheredTail · 12/10/2015 11:46

Oh Lil I already had a million and one excuses up my sleeve as to why it had to be 12 weeks if they had booked it in for 13 weeks! HURRAH for a scanxiety buddy! though secretly jealous you have yours 2 days before me Double HURRAH that you're feeling sick! It's horrendous and brilliant at the same time!

lildottie · 12/10/2015 11:52

I'm jealous you've already had a scan feathered!!

Mil has gone off the rails at dh again. Oh joy!

honeysucklejasmine · 12/10/2015 12:33

Jelly we're having another scan on 22nd so hopefully find out then.

Lil yay! You're past the first milestone, well done! Smile

Yes, sonographer was a moody meanie. It was 9am, she should still have been happy. Guess she's not a morning person.

batfish · 12/10/2015 12:33

lil congrats at getting past your first milestone of being a day further than last time, great news! Also I'm laughing at bum bullets haha.

jelly usually Braxton Hicks come and go so your tummy will go hard then soft again so if it's constantly hard I'm not sure that's what it is - but I've had days too where it's felt very hard and tight all day, it's a bit uncomfortable and makes you wonder how on earth you'll get any bigger!

ga your man got 9 hours sleep!? Wow he is a very lucky boy, he should definitely be doing that bleaching instead of you!

Well I've been to a 'bumps and babes' coffee morning which was 30 mins drive away much to the horror of most of my friends who seem concerned that I'm still not just wearing adult nappies and confining myself to my bed. I survived without my waters breaking on anyone and am now going to have a small OBEM marathon, might do some laundry if I can be arsed. Have responded to my many messages of 'how are you, how are you feeling, any news, any twinges, what's the next step.......' so hoping to get a bit of peace for the rest of the day!

batfish · 12/10/2015 13:50

Just had HR girl at work messaging for an update....and then told me my baby will probably be yellow. Yeah thanks for that.

CarrotPuff · 12/10/2015 14:24

Ga if you decide to kill your DH after all, we won't judge you and provide you with an alibi.

lil early bloating often goes away after a few weeks. Yay for feeling sick!

Can't remember who asked - at 28w bloods they check your iron levels again, and antibodies if you're Rh neg. Maybe something else.

First day at work tomorrow, I'm very anxious. Not about the work itself, but about the fact that they don't know I'm pg, so I'll really have to plan what I wear, and even then will probably be worried I'm showing. Ideally I want to wait at least a couple weeks till I tell them so that they start seeing how good I am and be glad that they hired me Grin but OTOH I just want it to be done, and tell them asap. Oh and the telling itself is stressing me out too!

FeatheredTail · 12/10/2015 14:33

Bat why would your baby be yellow?! What a crackers thing to say! Eh?!

Aw, Carrot try not to worry - easier said than done, I know. Your plan sounds like a good one: be lovely and amazing and wow everyone from day one - concentrate on that for now and don't expend any energy worrying about the grand reveal for the time being.

ThursdayLastWeek · 12/10/2015 14:44

Oh carrot Sad I know exactly what you mean, wanting to wait but wanting to get it done too. I'm sure once you've been there a few days you'll get the measure if the place and will be able to judge how to play it a bit better.

bat I'm so confused - is she somehow psychic and predicting jaundice? Or is it some other kind of reference I don't get?

I survived the soft play hell (it was actually quiet and lovely) and did a big lidl shop and now I want a nap.

MollyBloomYes · 12/10/2015 14:55

Oh carrot I think I'd be exactly the same, no real advice just a bit of hand holding for you! Could you say you'd literally just found out and didn't know at interview? Almost certainly what I would do!

Lil fantastic hat you're one day further and hurray for sickness! The only time you ever feel pleased for it Smile

I'm also pleased to hear about hospital bag status bat it's been like a huge game of suitcase chicken between you and the baby!

ga does your dp have that caveman thing of being able to sleep through every cry too? I've watched DH, he's not pretending he genuinely doesn't wake up. Drives me mad.

Talking of DH...things have been lovely. Proper bloody lovely, think we both had a good scare there. So at what point do I stop flinching when I see he's on Facebook Hmm. However, we were talking abut him going to end of term drinks with rest of department and I suggested I come along to meet them properly which he leapt at so I feel reassured by that. Bloody relationships. Sometimes I think hermits have the right idea Grin

batfish · 12/10/2015 14:56

Yeah I'm guessing she means jaundiced! But no idea why she says that, overdue babies aren't any more prone to it as far as I'm aware. This is the same girl who the other day asked what the approximate weight is and I said the doc had said currently 3.3kg so less than 7.5lb - she then said oh my goodness babies these days are enormous, I was only 2.3kg. I bit my tongue and refrained from telling her that actually she was probably quite underweight if she was full term! I will love my massive yellow baby Grin

Good luck with your first day carrot!

MollyBloomYes · 12/10/2015 14:57

Oh and I had gtt because I had a MONSTER CHILD last time. If you're meant to have it you'll know, they usually assess risk factors at booking in, unless your urine shows dodgy sugars at subsequent appointments

batfish · 12/10/2015 14:57

molly I'm so pleased things have been good, sounds like your DH definitely had a scare when he realised how silly he was being. I guess it will just take time for him to regain your trust and for you stop worrying when you see him on Facebook.

fruitlovingmonkey · 12/10/2015 15:17

Molly that all sounds positive. Glad you are back on track.
Bat the messages must be getting really annoying now. I don't get the yellow baby comment either Hmm. Gx Batlet makes an appearance before Thursday.
Yay for booking scans Feathered and Lil. My doc wanted to book me in for 13 weeks but the hospital were busy so I got 12 weeks. The proper scan is on Friday but I should get a little look on Wednesday in my doctor's office. Yesterday I rediscovered Fizzers sweets. They are amazing for nausea. Will I need gtt if I eat 5000 Fizzers?
Hope you have a good first day Carrot. Maybe when you get to know them a little bit the idea of telling them won't be so scary.

ThursdayLastWeek · 12/10/2015 16:09

fruit I'm all about love hearts at the mo. Not even nauseous anymore.

Think I just managed 40 winks in front if CBeebies, but can't actually tell.

bat DS was 10 days over when they finally evicted him and he didn't show even the remotest inkling of jaundice . I didn't realise that was a thing.

molly I just want to give you a squeeze xxx

MollyBloomYes · 12/10/2015 16:22

Ahhh thanks all, squeezes accepted! We're certainly not taking each other for granted which is emphatically a good thing! Now if he could just like the boy names I like...Fear we blew our load on DS we can't agree on anything!

Mmmmmm love hearts. Might have to nip to the shop....

batfish · 12/10/2015 16:30

molly we found it so hard to agree on names - we literally have 1 boys name! There are others I prefer but he didn't - and vice versa.

I've just ordered a vindaloo, I'm scared! Worth a try though!

FeatheredTail · 12/10/2015 16:51

I love fizzers Thursday! Oh lord, I need some in my life NOW! Where can I find some in the square mile???!

jellypi3 · 12/10/2015 17:08

i never knew those sweets had a name...fizzers...how odd! (totally had to google them)

OP posts:
lildottie · 12/10/2015 17:18

Tut tut, you lot and your sweets! Iveeaten cereal, carrots, cucumber and homemade tomato soup with wholemeal bread today. Nausea didn't last long but not freaking out after this morning's v dark frer. Keep getting g the odd stabby pain near my ovary type area though. Someone tell me this is normal....

bat vindaloo? You are desperate you poor thing! My nephew was overdue and not jaundice so no idea why your baby would be yellow. Hope you get the eviction notice served with the vindaloo!
