It's sneeze birth's galore thanks to our fanny stretchers! We're soaking in piss and praying for Bat's hospital bag. We're avoiding our mens 'Annie Sloaners' and eating all the cake! It's JS Gras 39!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I just started poking my belly to see if I could feel the baby. Dp told me off...

My bad. I got too enthusiastic with my virtual pom poms

Jcandy · 09/10/2015 22:26

I poke baby every day jelly! It's well padded in there in the amniotic fluid so it's fine!

Can't remember who said about their pelvis feeling like it was being ripped apart but that sounds like spd/pgp. You need to speak to your midwife and get referred to a physio so they can advise you what to do. I'm sure some grads grads will tell you how bad it can get! I've just started with it I think which is not a surprise since I get chronic back pain. I'm just pleased I've made it to 30 weeks before its started Smile

honeysucklejasmine · 10/10/2015 07:59

Morning!

RDM I am soooo excited. Ha ha, free scans! If baby has its legs closed again next time then we have two more chances to see!

I think... That I saw a vag. But I am not a sonographer so who knows what it was. I did not see anything resembling a penis, but I don't know if it would have been possible due to babies position anyway.

Happy birthday Feathered!

oneyorkshirepud · 10/10/2015 09:26

Eep! 30 weeks today! Will do a FB bumpie later. So my preggo book recons baby is about 3lb by now... and one presumes it will be at least 6lb when it is born. So it needs to double it's mass in 10 weeks?! Baby feels mahoosive already, is my abdomen going to explode over the next 10 weeks?!

batfish · 10/10/2015 11:25

Ha pretzel love that cat pic!

rdm I finished for mat leave at 38.5 weeks and was fine but I have a desk job so I imagine that teaching is probably more tiring - finish earlier if you feel like you're ready.

Still nothing occurring here, went to docs for monitoring this morning because they said I should just with being overdue. Baby has been kicking the shit out of me for 2 days solid including for an hour at 2.30 am and then decides to nap when the monitor goes on! I hadn't had any breakfast though so they gave me a hot chocolate and that woke the little bugger up so they were happy and let me go. Hospital fully booked on Wednesday so they tried to move induction to Tues so I said no and we've gone for Thurs instead so I've bought myself an extra day. Hoping to avoid it - I've booked acupuncture for tomorrow morning as an eviction tactic, fingers crossed.

batfish · 10/10/2015 11:26

Congrats on 30 weeks pud - where the hell has that time gone?! Know what you mean about thinking that can't get any bigger but they do unfortunately - my 28 week bump pic is pretty insignificant compared to the humongous gut I am currently hauling around.

purplewhale · 10/10/2015 12:33

Aargh dropped off the Fred. Should stop lurking!
Bat, haven't you had that baby yet
Hope you don't need the induction lovie, my friend had a sweep then sex and labour started - if that makes you feel better :-)

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/10/2015 13:03

Afternoon all, sorry, I too dropped off - went away to visit my sis last weekend and never really caught up.

Both DS and DH out now so I've got an hour or two of peace to catch up!

There's a woman at parkrun who is just one week less pregnant than me but you wouldn't even know it! She's a gorgeous beanpole, and I felt like such a heffalump next to her Sad
But hey ho, she's v nice so I'll be pleased to see her every Sat morning.
I have also finally invested in some proper maternity running trousers and a bigger sports bra since I've proved to myself I will keep it up.

How is everyone?

I'm 18+3 already I can hardly believe it. In fact I don't actually, but no longer care since I don't have to worry about being told I'm overdue when I'm not Grin

How are you feeling bat?

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/10/2015 13:05

Sorry, just read your previous post more thoroughly - a week is a long time in overdue land, hopefully you won't need the intervention.

batfish · 10/10/2015 13:23

Ah thursday I'm sure you're not a heffalump - you can't be if you're managing to run! She's probably telling her friends how you're more pregnant than her and you look awesome. It is nice that you have a friend so close to you in pregnancy, will be lovely when the babies arrive.

Hey purple nice to see you! Hmm maybe I should try a curry tonight....worried though in case it makes me trumpy for poor unsuspecting acupuncture lady tomorrow Shock I keep swinging between hoping I go into labour right now and then I suddenly have a freak out about the thought of having to do it and then having a baby at the end of it and then life will never be the same again.

CarrotPuff · 10/10/2015 13:34

Happy birthday feathered!

That's rubbish lil, you're up the duff so should get the same care like all of us!

Yeah JC it was me. I've figured out that that's what it is yesterday Sad I'm not sure they'll refer me as I'm not in constant pain...

Got my flu jab today. Made DP to get one too as he gets flu every year. He's already moaning about his sore arm. Do you want a bit of my back pain to get some perspective, you wimp? Angry

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/10/2015 13:42

Happy birthday feathered hope you're being spoilt rotten!

Too early for me to get the flu jab yet. I'd like to get it and the WC one dine and out the way

MollyBloomYes · 10/10/2015 14:17

Carrot snap, got mine done as well today. No sore arm so far! DS has been 'invited' (or we have on his behalf) to take part in a study examining genetic factors and responses to flu vaccine. Would mean he got a free flu vaccine which might not be a bad shout with newborn in house but he would need a couple of blood tests (they'd numb him though). So we're going to fully read up tonight and decide whether or not to go for it. Sounds really interesting if nothing else!

gaggiagirl · 10/10/2015 14:55

Rhiannon has had her baby!!!!
hello all.
Thursday my park has parkrun! I only realised last week they were drawing the finish line behind my house.

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/10/2015 15:06

Yay Rhiannon! How do you know??

Love parkrun, so friendly - mine isn't anything like as close as that sadly!
How are you ga?

batfish · 10/10/2015 15:12

Ah yay rhiannon! I can't remember did she know whether she was having a girl or a boy? God I'm totally hogging the top of the list, feel like I've been there for a record amount of time, shall we just say I'm not playing anymore?

gaggiagirl · 10/10/2015 15:38

Me and Rhi are friends on Facebook. She was team yellow. I'll let her update you I'll hassle her now Grin.
bat howay lass, puuuuuuush!
Thursday I live in the park (in a house Grin) shall I cheer folk on? I'm good thanks just sleep deprived Sad

lildottie · 10/10/2015 16:53

bat I think your apprehension could be a factor stopping you go into labour. When you do acupuncture make sure your filling your mind with thoughts of a calm happy birth, and belief that you can do it ad that it will be fine. If you can do that I reckon you'll go into labour within 24 hours as long as you keep the positive thoughts up afterwards.

Congrats to rhi shit my old edd is getting close, I should've been after rhi on the list iirc

fruitlovingmonkey · 10/10/2015 17:04

Ooh Bat I hope the acupuncture works. I've heard of it being used to bring on labour and my acupuncture doc reckons it leads to an easier birth. Some private hospitals even offer it during labour as pain relief.

batfish · 10/10/2015 17:04

lil you know what, you could be right - my sister is a midwife and told me off the other day for saying I just can't imagine going into spontaneous labour and am sure I will end up being induced. So yes I need to believe that the acupuncture will work and generally stop crapping myself about the whole situation.

Keeping everything crossed that everything stays good for you, which I'm sure it will. I know that your previous pregnancy will never be forgotten but hopefully the fact that you are pregnant again will help to ease the pain of your due date coming up.

ThursdayLastWeek · 10/10/2015 17:20

bat you'll be fine, I hope the acupuncture helps you to relax.
No matter what happens, you'll be in the right place, with the right people, and then you get a baby Grin

Yes ga, always cheer runners, though maybe not when they're alone - that might be weird.

Hugs for lil

Off out tonight for burgers yum yum yum

pretzelpieces · 10/10/2015 17:31

bat Flowers I don't know what to say to be reassuring but good luck!

Are gym balls meant to be squishy? I feel like I'm going to break it Confused. I've just asked if I can do daisy birthing on it cause of back pain/pelvis pain and they said yes (but I'm going to feel like a twat with everyone else on the floor aren't i).

honeysucklejasmine · 10/10/2015 17:38

Ooooh Rhi! Congratulations! You did a baby!
