Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

my backache didn't really start until about 18 weeks but now it's horrible :(

yay for scan feathered :)

I've got my GTT on Tuesday, joy.

Good luck with the gtt jelly. I've got to have one a bit later on and I'm not looking forward to it either!

MollyBloomYes · 09/10/2015 15:31

Jelly and pretzel cannot recommend iplayer or sky go on tablet highly enough for gtt. Most programmes now are about an hour so by the time you get through two you're basically over the worst of the waiting! I didn't find mine awful, just boring and I went a bit shaky and weird even after I was able to eat but didn't get the headache of doom I was expecting and was fine by the afternoon

jellypi3 · 09/10/2015 15:32

thanks molly i might have to do that!

pretzelpieces · 09/10/2015 16:08

Thanks molly!

lildottie · 09/10/2015 16:19

Gtt?

Have a great holiday 5hell, hope you've got sorted!

Feathered I know I've said this on undergrads but yay for scan!

Honey check you out with growth scans! Bet there will be some mild jealousy around here at that one!

So just tried to get my prescription for my progesterone pessaries. Hospital gave me letter to give to gp (which I did last week) saying if I got a bfp they would need to prescribe 2 per day until 12wks pg. Soigo in to collect prescription this afternoon. It's for 15! Luckily I notice and lady takes to Dr and after forever she gives me a new one. For 60! I need 112 ffs 8weeks x 7 days x 2pd =112 you idiots. Got Dr to phone, its a funding issue, can only give month at a time. So that would mean me paying 2 prescription charges. I've phoned clinic and they are going to get consultant to phone gp and hopefully sort it out for me on Monday! It shouldn't be this difficult!

lildottie · 09/10/2015 16:20

I may have told a fib and said I have enough until Tuesday, I actually have at least 40!

pretzelpieces · 09/10/2015 16:40

GTT =glucose tolerance test, it tests for diabetes and involves fasting, blood test, high sugar drink then more blood tests over two hours/one test after two hours. Done around 28 weeks if you have risk.

Sorry you're being messed around with the scrips lil!

CarrotPuff · 09/10/2015 16:40

lil you are exempt from prescription fees when pg, although you do need a mat exemption certificate for that. Some farmacies will give you drugs for free without the card if you tell them you're pg though, so might be worth mentioning it. Maybe too late for this lot, but hopefully you'll have it next time.

jellypi3 · 09/10/2015 16:50

carrot i think lil's IVF is self funded privately so she wouldn't be elegible for free prescriptions under the NHS.

And yeah GTT is basically the diabetes test. 2 hours in a horrible hospital waiting room.

Afternoon Viroids, and Happy Weekend! (I may already be in bed, nap time!)

Those of you with a bad back do try to see a physio/someone about it. I've seen physio (nhs) and chiropractor (private) and it has made a huge difference. I would normally be quite wary of a chiropractor but mine used to be a nurse and doesn't do any back clicking, just massage and exercises. It doesn't hurt now and I can sleep. Don't just suffer with it. Follow all the preggo back tips too, it does make a difference.

Urgh, good luck to those of you having GTT.

Yey for your scan Feathered!

Jelly do you think you should call your mw re: swollen hands? Think you might be too early for pre eclampsia but it might be worth chatting it through. Flowers

Lil, it's very nice to have you here!

lildottie · 09/10/2015 17:51

Thanks one, its good to be here.

carrot I'm not in the normal system until I have viability scan and get discharged from clinic. It will be an NHS prescription though. Bloody sucks that they can't just give me a certificate for it!

jellypi3 · 09/10/2015 18:28

My pregnancy thought/observation from today:

My belly button is no longer and innie but neither is it quite an outtie. It's a flattie.

pud ill talk to her about it. Ive also got sore wrists to go with that rest of my sore body but Dr Google tells me this is common.
I'm also going to refer to a physio when I move, which hopefully will be in the next 4 weeks or someone will feel my pregnancy wrath

How's the back now lil?

Bat have you done a baby yet?

OP posts:
pretzelpieces · 09/10/2015 18:42

jelly my belly button is popped out at the top and still in/flat at the bottom? Bizarre.

WouldRatherHaveCake · 09/10/2015 19:21

BRING ON THE BATLET!!!!

pretzelpieces · 09/10/2015 19:36

What?! Is she in labour?! Have you heard something!

FeatheredTail · 09/10/2015 20:19

Thanks for the love!

Lil that's bloody irritating. Why does everything always have to be so hard?! Good for you with the fib though: one step ahead of the game!

Is Bat in labour?! OHHHH I want Batlet to share my birthday tomoz!

batfish · 09/10/2015 20:35

Nope nothing whatsoever going on here I'm afraid! I'm dying for something to happen for the sole reason that it will mean I don't have to respond with the same 'no nothing happening yet' to the 20 different messages I will get tomorrow! I feel bad for all the overdue pregnant friends I have 'supportively' messaged every day! I'm even getting messages from people I hardly ever speak to asking if there is any news.....I've been perfectly chilled myself but now I'm starting to get fed up just because of everyone asking! And I do not mean any of you on here of course, this feels like nice encouragement!

batfish · 09/10/2015 20:35

Woah that was a lot of exclamation marks in one post Grin

pretzelpieces · 09/10/2015 20:41

Haha it was cake, she stirred up the excitement! Grin naughty cake. Cake

Hang in there bat. You don't have to reply to the messages, they can always just assume you're in labour. Alternatively I've attached a helpful pictoral response you could send them.

Oh god we got Indian takeaway and I've eaten too much. #noregrets

rdm10 · 09/10/2015 20:46

I had the best extra growth scans honey because of ginormobaby (measuring 37 wks at 34 wks!?) and it's always nice to have an extra nosey at baby.

Gtt ladies, be prepared to feel shocking afterwards, it totally floored me the day after, just felt sick and shaky, think it's all that sugary syrup!

Just wondering... When are people going off on mat leave?
I'm due to go off at half term (in 2 wks) when I'll be 38 wks but I'm shattered and I'm convinced this huge baby of mine might come early so I'm considering finishing a week early and going off next week!?

oneyorkshirepud · 09/10/2015 20:49

Ooh Pretzel, my belly button has done that too, it's like it has a little hat on! Smile Although sometimes it gets really stretched and looks like it is going to disappear completely - weird.

Jelly by the time you move and get an appointment you won't be pregnant anymore!

oneyorkshirepud · 09/10/2015 20:51

Ooh rdm definitely go off next week. Are you still teaching? You must be knackered. I'm finishing at 36 weeks and am mostly doing admin until then.

pretzelpieces · 09/10/2015 20:53

pud you are freaking adorable. I will definitely think of it as wearing a little hat from now on. Grin
