Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Yay lil for symptoms!

Oh honey that sounds awful, hate dreams like that.

Feeling a bit less freaked out this morning still don't really want to do labour though - I think having the sweep made me worry I was about to go into labour at any second but I've survived the night and feel completely normal so I'm back to burying my head in the sand again. Had the teeniest bit of blood - just a slight stain on the tissue and a bit evident on the epi-no - but no plug loss as far as I can see so I don't think anything is happening. I feel like I'm having the longest reign at the top of the list ever!!

Got 9.5cm on the epi-no last night Grin

5hell · 08/10/2015 06:35

Thanks bat
Im not normally a crazy anti-internet shopping loon, its just the principle. Holiday is this saturday so not much time for anything really!

Sorry for you horrid (scanxiety?) dream honey ...hope u have a wonderful scan

SecondCupOfTea · 08/10/2015 06:52

Enjoy your scan honey. Are you finding out the flavour?

oneyorkshirepud · 08/10/2015 07:44

Ooh good luck with the scan Honey, enjoy seeing baby.

Hi trijo! (Waves) still running? Hopefully you'll get to hear the hb today!

9.5cm Bat, 2cm dilated already? Pfft, labour will be a breeze, baby will practically fall out! Grin Do you have a birth plan?

jellypi3 · 08/10/2015 07:48

Good luck today honey. Looking forward to pics of your gorgeous bubba :)

I didn't watch bake off, was saving it but the second I got on the train this morning it was plastered all over the metro. Hmm

Yay for symptoms lil!!! The exhaustion gets worse!

24 weeks today :) big milestone in my head.

LaLaLaaaa · 08/10/2015 08:01

Lil!!!!

Yay!

LaLaLaaaa · 08/10/2015 08:01

Good luck honey - can't wait to see your wee one today :)

Bat how are you doing?

batfish · 08/10/2015 08:07

Ah congrats on 24 weeks jelly! Definitely a milestone, it's a great feeling knowing that if anything happened then the doctors would do everything for your baby to be ok Smile

Hi la how is it going? I am good thanks! Mr bat has announced that he is ready for the baby to come out now but that is clearly because he doesn't have to give birth, I'm still feeling fairly patient. Feel slightly like a ticking time bomb now though.

pud my birth plan (not yet printed it out of course) is basically see how it goes. I have skin to skin on there and delayed cord clamping if it is possible - but in terms of pain relief I say yes to entonox and then see what else I need. I imagine it is highly likely I will have an epidural before I've even passed the reception desk on the labour ward but want to see what happens.

Niffertiti · 08/10/2015 08:24

Ooh, honey Gx for scan today - hope you get a good look at babyhoney and the bits if you're finding out the sex. 20w scan was my favourite!

Lil hoorah for symptoms! ^another little dance of joy
^
Bat maybe just get the baby out now? Sometimes you've just got to get things over and done with! Congrats on 9.5 though...

Molly hope you're ok, after chats with DH last night. Big hugs. Remember to eat. Have extra cake too.

Slightly scary news at my yoga class last night - someone's baby arrived at 27w. We're at the same point and I'm a bitConfused. They're obviously still in hospital and it sounds a bit touch and go - I've no idea what the chances are that early. She developed pre-eclampsia and it had to come out. She'd just got back from a long- haul flight and thought she was just jet- lagged but was mentioning swollen ankles. Sad.

In better news, it's my last day at work today! Maternity leave tomorrow! Fuck yeah! I'm dead on my feet.

batfish · 08/10/2015 08:47

Yay niff for mat leave! Sorry to hear about your yoga friend though, really hope her baby is ok, it always shakes you a bit when you hear of these things happening to someone who is at a similar stage to you.

lildottie · 08/10/2015 08:57

Morning all. Good luck for scan honey

Just phoned clinic after an amazing line on frer this morning. Scan booked for 3/11. I'll be 8w by ec date at that one. Feeling quite excitwd but trying not to get ahead of myself.

Niffertiti · 08/10/2015 09:00

Oooh lil all the things are crossed!Grin

SecondCupOfTea · 08/10/2015 09:19

Yay lil great news Smile

jellypi3 · 08/10/2015 09:33

Last day niff? Crazy!!

gaggiagirl · 08/10/2015 09:43

Oh lil that's lovely! Awwwwwww!
I've scrubbed my downstairs radiators today. Glam.

lildottie · 08/10/2015 09:49

Ooh niff missed your post. Yay for mat leave!

I need to check out the stats list and see where everyone is at. not brave enough to add myself to it yet!

MollyBloomYes · 08/10/2015 10:00

Lil so exciting! Gs very much x!

bat sure it must be getting very real but you sound lovely and calm even if you don't feel it. Like your birth plan too, absolutely the best way to go with flow, birth is so unpredictable!

5hell maternity clothes shopping is a pain, you have my sympathies.

Niff thanks lovely and sorry about about your yoga friend, must be very scary but you're not having those symptoms and it is rare. Hope baby does ok, what a frightening situation.

Oof so we talked and talked and talked some more. I think whatever it was went no further than a bit of a flirt which he panicked about and is now trying very hard to make amends for. I'll never know for sure but I've either got to go for this working and make that decision to trust that whatever happened is at an end or I've got to end it. And I don't think it's worth throwing away for some potentially harmless but bit inappropriate banter. I did say if there was something big to fess up he'd better do it now so we could work on it because if I were to find out later (and he knows I would) I'd be done and he'd be out. He does have a tendancy to blow things out of proportion when stressed or anxious so it's also entirely possible these flirty messages would have left me nonplussed anyway. I'm also fully aware that sounds like excuses! So we're a bit battered and bruised but working on it. Think it's been a bit of a wake up call that we do love each other but we've both gotten a bit too into daily grind since birth of DS. Started today with a lovely spoony cuddle before getting up (can't remember the last time we did that) so it's a start.

Thanks again for listening to my dramatics, your support has been amazing. I luffs you lot Cake for all

fruitlovingmonkey · 08/10/2015 10:09

Congrats on the bucket fanny Bat, that's good work. Birth is pretty much the same as an Epi- no session, right?
Gx for your scan honey hope you get a good look at your baby.
Niff hooray for mat leave. Scary news about your friend. Was the pre-eclampsia caused by the flight?
Lil less than a month to wait!
I did some baking for Bake Off last night. Made me feel like I was involved because I kept having to pause it to check the oven! Now I feel the need to eat some fruit and veg, had a really unhealthy day yesterday and baked goods to top it off.

batfish · 08/10/2015 10:13

So glad you had a good chat molly - you know him and if you feel like he has been honest then that's great and it sounds like you could be making a positive out of it all by realising you need to prioritise each other more.

Yay lil great news, keeping absolutely everything crossed that we will be looking at a lovely scan pic on 3rd Nov!

fruitlovingmonkey · 08/10/2015 10:16

Glad you are feeling better Molly. It sounds like his heart is in the right place, it was a stupid move to delete the messages but he probably just panicked. I also think someone else sniffing around can sometimes remind you both how great your rship is.

FeatheredTail · 08/10/2015 11:10

Glad to hear you and DH had a good chat and you're feeling better Molly

Wildly jealous of Niff's mat leave - at the ripe old status of 8+1! Man. Can I take some mat leave now??? Seriously. Just until the perma-nausea is over.

Honey how was the scan? Gx for you.

Had my midwife appointment yesterday who assured me of the following:

  1. Salad is fine. Eat the salad.
  1. If Lucozade is helping the nausea - drink it.
  1. No, I will not become obese through only eating beige food and drinking Lucozade.
  1. No, my teeth will not fall out through excessive Lucozade intake.
  1. No, I it is highly unlikely I will develop gestational diabetes through flipping Lucozade.
  1. No, I won't have an excessively fat baby because of Lucozade.
Grin

On a slightly worrying note, she has however recommended that my husband has a blood test as soon as possible to rule out a particular blood trait that I carry. If he has it too, it's a major issue a - but because it's only carried by people who have middle eastern/north african/mediterrean blood, it's MASSIVELY unlikely DH (half Scot) has it.

He still has to do the blood test though. Poor man only gave blood on Tuesday!

Niffertiti · 08/10/2015 11:51

Glad you had a good chat Molly. It's really difficult keeping a relationship on track sometimes and it takes a crisis to remind you to make time for each other (we've no DCs yet but both travel A LOT for work and it's nearly broken us before). It does sound like his heart is probably in the right place, he's just been a bit silly. Hope you're feeling better.

I'm starting my mat leave at 27 weeks so not about to pop yet but I am excited! Just one final haul on the packing this w/e, a long haul flight on Tuesday and then, erm, I guess I begin a new phase in life! Blimey!Shock

Fruit I don't think the pre - eclampsia was caused by flying but it can't have helped... Trying not to worry given my international travels over the next few weeks but as someone very sensible said below I have none of the symptoms.

CarrotPuff · 08/10/2015 11:55

Molly glad you're working things out.

Bat I don't know what you're scared of. With 2cm dilated and 9.5cm bucket fanny your baby will just slip out in your sleep!

Niff how scary for your yoga (was it yoga?) buddy, I hope the baby goes from strength to strength. Yay for mat leave though.

Yay for good line lil and double yay for the upcoming scan! Can we see the said pissy stick?

Honey I hope the scan went well.

V jealous of all the baking, I need to bake something too.

Felt the baby kick yesterday, I mean on the outside. DP was not there though, but hopefully he can catch it soon. I must have posterior placenta this time.

MollyBloomYes · 08/10/2015 12:45

Niff where isn't you're off to?

Feathered I couldn't wait for mat leave with DS, I hated the school I was working in! Made for a very long wait! Bit scary re blood test but sounds like it's a very slim chance, gx for you.

Off to physio in a bit to assess potential spd. With the toddler. I plan on strapping him in the pushchair and plying him with food until he glazes over. Don't know why I'm having another kid, I'm clearly mother of the year already.

oneyorkshirepud · 08/10/2015 17:08

Ha ha brilliant Feathered, your mw must think you are bonkers!

Well jel of mat leave at 27 weeks! I've got 6 weeks to go, not that I am counting, much.

Yey for kicks Carrot! Smile
