Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Thanks Bat, that's really helpful. Like I said I think I may have misinterpreted what the MW said as it seems a bit odd! It reassuring to know that you don't feel movement all the time either!

LaLaLaaaa · 03/10/2015 07:09

delurking

Pud what bat says is what I was told - that it's about patterns of your individual baby's movement. So you get to know your baby and when he or she wakes and is more active and that's what you are monitoring. It's old advice to be told to count movements in an hour. Not sure about concentrating sitting down bit try drinking something hot or cold and lying down on left if you're worried as that normally will help you feel them

LaLaLaaaa · 03/10/2015 07:10

And yes there'll be period when baby's asleep and you won't feel anything but you will know when that's normal for your baby

oneyorkshirepud · 03/10/2015 07:28

Thanks La, baby pud seems to do a fair bit of sleeping, let's hope that stays the same once it is born!!

pretzelpieces · 03/10/2015 08:57

pud I slept alright last night thanks! DP not here so I took over the whole bed. Bliss. Sorry to hear you're worrying about movements, although as la says it sounds like you've had some bad advice. I am the same and I'm not even at the stage where I should worry yet! I blame my anterior placenta. although I might be glad of some cushioning when the kicks get harder

Off for my flu jab at lunchtime. Partayyyy

oneyorkshirepud · 03/10/2015 09:44

Ah good news Pretzel!

Today the painting of the nursery begins, beyond excited!! My painting clothes are not maternity wear. At this stage my top does not in any way meet my trousers. It's a good look!

pretzelpieces · 03/10/2015 09:50

You're gonna get a paint spattered belly!

oneyorkshirepud · 03/10/2015 10:11

I know! Ha ha Smile

CarrotPuff · 03/10/2015 11:08

Yay for good night's sleep!

Erm, bat I think you should have packed it ages ago? Wink

Happy painting pud!

So I got the job. DP is actually pleased. I did tell him that I do realise that there's no potential for me there, and that I'll look for something else when I'm on mat leave. But it will do for now. And as predicted I'm starting exactly one week too late for MA Confused Oh well, could have been worse, could have had no job at all!

honeysucklejasmine · 03/10/2015 11:15

Yay Carrot! Congratulations!

oneyorkshirepud · 03/10/2015 11:20

Yey that's fantastic Carrot! Well done!

batfish · 03/10/2015 11:49

Congrats carrot that's great news!

pud there was a similar fashiom scene in our house when we were painting the nursery - accompanied by me huffing and puffing and having to sit down every 2 minutes because my back was hurting! Sexy!

pretzelpieces · 03/10/2015 12:02

Well done carrot!

fruitlovingmonkey · 03/10/2015 16:18

Congratulations Carrot, well done you!

5hell · 03/10/2015 18:05

go carrot, go carrot done with a little dance and arm swirling

tired, hungry, emotional lazy and generally out of sorts today...i blame the week from hell at work (including crying in front of my boss and another colleague late yesterday, thanks to excell/csv/sigfig/data hell!); currently watching lots of rugby. will try to do better tomorrow such that i feel i deserve our dinner/theatre night out (nina conti)

anyone else had a more exciting saturday?

fruitlovingmonkey · 03/10/2015 18:53

Sorry for your shit week 5hell. Boring day for me too. I went food shopping this morning and got some pains in my lower abdomen. Came home and have spent the day lying on the couch as a precaution. I might be a bit paranoid because I'm approaching the time I must've MC last pregnancy. I'm trying to listen to my body and rest when needed. Feel a bit useless though, I haven't even managed to read, just been watching TV all day. I've been feeling nauseous this evening, so gx that's a good sign. DH cooked lamb pie and the smell made me want to vom.

oneyorkshirepud · 03/10/2015 19:02

Good idea to take it easy Fruit, how many weeks are you now? So far I have felt all kinds of sensations/cramps/niggles in the abdomen department so it may just be par for the course.

5hell sorry you are feeling stressed my dear. Flowers

God I miss wine. Smile

fruitlovingmonkey · 03/10/2015 19:20

10 weeks now

pretzelpieces · 03/10/2015 19:24

Aw 5hell and fruit Flowers

Can't say much for my day, stabby flu jab, sore arm, arsey bus driver. Fun times at the vaccination clinic with the nurse trying to discreetly find a patch of non scarred skin on my upper arm to stick. Mental viroid problems. Blush

pud yeah sometimes you just want a glass to unwind at the end of a day don't you. Biscuits it is then. Biscuit

oneyorkshirepud · 03/10/2015 19:47

You should have just pulled your trews down Pretzel and told her to jab you in the bum cheek! I've got whooping cough this week and flu jab next week, joy!!

pretzelpieces · 03/10/2015 20:08

Blimey pud will they do them both in the same arm? Yes, I should've done that, that would have been far less embarrassing I'm sure! HmmGrin

honeysucklejasmine · 03/10/2015 20:13

I've had a course of injections in my arse. Not too bad, just flash a bit of crack and you're done.

CarrotPuff · 03/10/2015 21:01

Fanks viroids. I'm not that excited, but very relieved.

Rest up fruit, although it's probably just one of many niggles.

I'm having very painful gas in my oesophagus, like trapped burps? Really painful...

oneyorkshirepud · 03/10/2015 22:19

Going to ask for them both in my right arm as I sleep on my left, but they are a week apart so should be fine. Receptionist thought I might be able to have them done at the same time but normally get flu jab itis after the flu one so thought I'd give myself a chance by getting them done separately. Not as bad as the actual flu though, that is mega grim.

FYI I had to ask about the WC jab. You need it between 28 and 32 weeks I think so get asking fellow Viroids!

honeysucklejasmine · 04/10/2015 08:01

I had the flu jab last weekend, it was fine. Bit mad chaos at the doctors though, loads of people there! Arm was a but sore but no flu symptoms.
