Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 38th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

Congratulations Mr bat I'm glad he's found something, sounds really exciting. Now Mrs bat you have all my sympathy. Been there, felt that, still feel like I'm in fancy dress in most clothes!
purple pregnancy is pretty shape changing, its weird. I have no solution to it unfortunately.

bat and purple big hugs and a slap round those beautiful faces. I get it too. But don't be so hard on yourselves, on top of everything growing a human is bloody hard going!

Oh bat and purple my lovelies absolutely been there. I was so swollen towards the end of pregnancy I looked like those jowly men French and Saunders used to play, my smile looked all weird. It's a massive shape changer and a huge thing to come to terms with. Doesn't help when you see other women who have apparently pinged back into shape with no issues at all! But we are doing marvellous things, growing babies and all and in time you will get back to yourselves. Ironically I did just as I got pregnant again! Please please don't be too hard on yourselves

I'm annoyed because I got new maternity bras the next size up and they don't FIT. Too small! So I've jumped two sizes in 14 weeks at least waaah, I was really hoping not to spend 8 million pounds in bras this time but it seems they are my cross to bear.

bat i don't think anyone likes how they look in 99.999% of photos...we are all far too self-critical. Then you can guarantee if there's one photo you don't mind how you look in, it's taken somewhere ugly/someone else in the photo is looking ridiculous/everyone else has their eye's closed etc etc! we should all just use our "mind cameras" more and forget about actual photos...esp on fb!!!!!

Bat, I always look terrible in photos. I have decided that I am just unphotogenic and that therefore photos are not a realistic representation of my natural gorgeous self. This is what I tell myself anyway, Makes me feel better!

I caved and used my doppler, heartbeat was right where I said I had been finding it but she felt it was too high for where the fundal something should be so she didn't even humour me and check!

I asked OH to come listen just in case I was going insane and it was my heartbeat. Perks of living with someone who works in critical care!

I'm awake....because some cunt tried to break into my new house. DP is on night shift so it was only preggo me and DD home. Thieving bastards! They clearly thought that no one lived here yet. The house is covered in scaffolding, the whole roof is stripped down and the back of the house had wheelbarrows/piles/boxes of building detritus around it. Through the patio doors on the back the cunt thieves have obviously also seen boxes in the kitchen with sparkly brand names. We just got a new tv yesterday so that box is there.
DP came straight home. He's gone back to work now. I'm back in bed with a hammer poised. Cant stop shaking. I'm furious.

Thanks everyone for the nice words! Feel better today, think I just needed a good cry, it's been a while! Got lots of cuddles and was allowed to be a bit pathetic for a couple of hours which helped, let's hope I can behave like a normal person today. Didn't manage to nod off until bloody 1am though so another zombie day for me! 6 more working days!

Bat - photos are the work of the devil and should be illegal. It's not you, it's the internal camera pixies who distort everything, unless you are lucky that they are asleep or off duty for a few seconds. The only way to avoid them is to operate the camera yourself and then the pixies are under your control. This is a known fact

I'm off work today, i feel so rough. This cold and cough meant I got even less sleep last night. DP wouldn't let me get dressed lol, he said I need to rest and I think he''s right. Just feel stupid taking time off for a cough and cold, but when you can't take anything for it it feels like you're dying!

bat please dont take this as a stealth boast, but before pregnancy I was a size 8-10 and yet still the photo pixies got me too. I would look at pictures of parties/weddings/nights out and couldn't work out why I looked OK when I left the house and then so awful when I was there. I am sure I go up 4 dress sizes every time a camera flashes. I even feel I look fat in my wedding photos. There is 1 photo of me on Facebook pregnant from our friends wedding and I cried when I saw it- I couldn't believe that every time they looked at their wedding photos there would be this blimp!
As it is, I now have a wobbly belly, tits of fire and skin that is not happy from loosing half my circulatory blood volume..but you know what, minim is the most beautiful girl on this planet and I made her.
In 6 days you will finish work and feel so, so much better just in life in general. Look after yourself and marvel at the miracle your body is doing (and about to do!!) And don't listen to the inner demons or photo pixies..I've seen pictures of you on Facebook and beleive me, your gorgeous
