Whilst the rest of us chowed down on runny eggs and shellfish, deeply sneezed out a baby!...It's superb scans all around and only the occasional nose-vom on JS Grads 38!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 38th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's shocked at a week wait!

CarrotPuff · 14/09/2015 12:28

Oh would that's shocking! Hopefully baby was just hiding, but they still need to check asap! I would call them back and demand an urgent scan. Hope you're ok Flowers

WouldRatherHaveCake · 14/09/2015 12:29

I'm OK, trying to be rational.and know baby can still swim away! But I don't know how long it will last

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/09/2015 12:44

How many weeks are you cake?
Did your MW give you any explanation as to why she's not worried?

DS had a dicky heartbeat late-ish in pregnancy and I had to see a MW the following day - I think if it was something to worry about they'd take it v seriously.

WouldRatherHaveCake · 14/09/2015 12:50

She's not worried because I'm only 16+4 and I'm fat. She said if I get worried to give her a call and she will come and try again so I have that if I need it

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/09/2015 13:50

Ok, well I'd be inclined to trust her unless she'd pissed me off before Smile

Do you gave the number of your local MW team? That way if you do need to see someone, you might get someone more sympathetic? Try not to worry, easier said than done I know Thanks

honeysucklejasmine · 14/09/2015 14:21

I am baking blueberry muffins. Shall I post you one, Cake? Flowers

I would say though, that as soon as you start to panic, which hopefully you won't, phone the hospital.

mountaingirl01 · 14/09/2015 14:40

Hello viroids! Got some catching up to do! Just wanted to say cake please try not to worry easier said than done I know babies are incredibly hard to get a trace on with a Doppler. Mini m was difficult to find even when full term. How many weeks are you?

mountaingirl01 · 14/09/2015 14:43

Should have refreshed.. call her again and demand she re looks x

WouldRatherHaveCake · 14/09/2015 15:48

Thanks all. Feeling a lot calmer as I know that she is right, but a friend said she would be using this week to prepare for the worst which made me a bit Shock so I'm sat playing with DS and craving a snickers!

jellypi3 · 14/09/2015 15:56

shit sorry would i didn't see your post when i posted my scan pic! are you going to get another scan?

pretzelpieces · 14/09/2015 16:03

would how can they leave you a week?! That's rubbish of them. Must be a worry for you Flowers

jelly lovely scan news and pic.

batfish · 14/09/2015 16:14

Oh goodness I'm a little surprised at your friend's reaction! I'm sure if the midwife was worried about anything like that then she wouldn't have just left it. I just think she should have offered to do something again sooner than a week to put your mind at ease.

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/09/2015 16:46

Yes your friend sounds like a bit of a wolly cake! Has she had children?

Congrats on a lovely scan jelly Smile

WouldRatherHaveCake · 14/09/2015 17:30

Don't be daft jelly, sorry for not commenting on how amazingly clear it is! And yay for girlie bits still!

Yeah thurs, a 6 week old!
MW said I will get another scan if she can't find it again next week. It's the week wait that's more of an issue for me at the moment. I have a doppler but obviously too scared to use it.

OH is lovely though and not only did he go out for snickers, he also bought ingredients to make dark chocolate and peanut brownies!

batfish · 14/09/2015 17:35

So some of you may remember that mr bat parted ways with his employer 3 months ago.....well he was recently approached by an ex client and to cut a long story short they want to start a new company (they own quite a few already) and they want him to run it! He signed the paperwork today - all very exciting, they have given him a share in the business and a better salary than his last job - so great timing in terms of imminent baby - but also terrible timing in terms of baby, eeeeek! He will have to focus a lot on setting this up and making it a success but also will have a baby to focus on, hoping he can do both well! Shock

batfish · 14/09/2015 17:36

Aww cake glad your OH is looking after you, I'm sure your next midwife appt or scan will be perfect.

oneyorkshirepud · 14/09/2015 18:01

Oh poor you Cake that must be worrying. BUT I think if the MW was really worried she would send you for a scan ASAP instead of leave it iyswim? Also, lots of mws won't even check for hb until 16 weeks as it is tricky to find before then, and as you are just 4 days over that could be the case. Flowers for you!

Great news Bat!

WouldRatherHaveCake · 14/09/2015 18:24

Fabulous news bat!

Thanks pud!

UPDATE... OH is shit at making brownies

batfish · 14/09/2015 19:10

Oh no cake! At least you have the snickers!

Just had a small crying fit on mr bat - you know when you really don't want them to see you cry but you can't stop yourself?? I have very low self body image which isn't helped by this humongous state I find myself in. Someone has posted a pic on Facebook of me today and I look bloody awful - it's pretty much the only full length preggo photo of me and I just look fat and my hair looks awful and I can't pull a nice photo face to save my life.....of course the whole world has seen this pic and there have been shitloads of nice comments from liars and likes - I was going to untag it but I'm trying to force myself to be less sensitive about photos so I didn't. Wish I had. So I complain to mr bat about how I look so bad and now this is how everyone sees me pregnant. He has said to me a million times before that I look fine and he doesn't know why I'm so down on myself BUT if I'm unhappy then I should do something about it like learn how to do my hair, make up, pose better, buy new clothes, do whatever I need to do etc. But I just feel so shit as always think I look OK in the mirror and then there will be photos and I look really bad especially next to everyone else in the world who all seem to be perfectly photogenic. So anyway I couldn't help but burst into tears because I am sick of looking so bad (this is from pre pregnancy so it won't go away in a few weeks). So now he feels bad and has made me cry even more by being nice to me and apologising if he was insensitive and saying he shouldn't have said anything....even though I know he was only trying to be practical in coming up with ways for me to feel better about myself! Sorry for being a bit woe is me, should have laid off the chocolate a lot bit over the past few months and maybe I wouldn't be feeling so fat, frumpy and middle aged!

purplewhale · 14/09/2015 19:36

Aargh just lost a massive post

Just wanted to say I get it too Bat. I hid my pregnant body away for quite a while. I'm struggling with post pregnancy body to an extent. I've had major surgery, I'm swollen and I have no idea how I'm going to end up. I have a massive jelly belly. I've bought a fuck ton of fruit and I'm trying to avoid the biscuits as much as possible. I managed not to gain any weight but my shape is definitely different.
In a few weeks time you'll be loads smaller. I wish I could say something to make you feel better. You'll have other things to think about then which does help. BF isn't going well and that's my main thing right now.

Cake I hope you're ok. MW wouldn't do a heartbeat on me due to BMI. His position meant it was difficult to find last week!

batfish · 14/09/2015 19:38

Oh God now I can't stop crying, current reason being that mr bat has made me a cup of tea to drink in bed before i go to sleep and I can't drink it because I will be up to pee more! He looks a bit scared. It's pretty much my first preggo crying fit I think so he's done well to not suffer it before!

batfish · 14/09/2015 19:41

Aww purple thanks for the reply and I'm sorry you're not feeling your best either, I have no idea why we put so much pressure on ourselves but it's hard not to when it feels like the rest of the world looks so skinny and awesome! I'm sure you look great and mr purple and baby purple think you're the absolute dogs bollocks and that should be all that matters, sending hugs (and crying a bit more because I want you to feel nice) Flowers

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/09/2015 19:43

Jesus purple cut yourself some slack! Some some fucking biscuits! You've got the rest of your life to worry about your body, don't add it to all the life changing stresses you've got going on already!

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/09/2015 19:48

And bat too, stop being so hard on yourself!

so you recognise that you would like to look different/healthier? That's the place to start...in six months, when you can start to feel like yourself again.
Pregnancy fucks with your mind and your body, you need to have got it out of your system then you can really focus on yourself again

Hugs to you all, you bloody gorgeous creatures brewing/feeding further gorgeous creatures Thanks
