Babies, babies everywhere!

Lala that sounds very ouchy and frustrating. Hope things progress today. Charlie, fingers crossed that acu helps.

Raines, although it must be very frustrating for you, I did chuckle at your DH thinking he was off work.

We are at hospital but have turned down induction for now. I think it feels too soon and would rather allow nature to have a chance. However will see what happens as having ctg and an attempted sweep before I go home. 39+6.

Never thought I'd find mat leave so boring! Have been entertaining myself this afternoon by baking lactation banana bread (apparently lactation baking is a thing?) Obviously don't know yet if it works, but it's pretty nice as a snack anyway!

Enjoy it while you can charlie! Soon enough you'll have not a single moment of rest. One of the Facebook ladies has just made some lactation cookies the other day and has rated them so sounds like it's a "thing", yeah! Who'd have thought, hey?!

Another quick catch up. Monitoring showed some regular tightenings but cervix not yet favourable for sweep. Back on Wednesday for both again if things don't progress beforehand.

Lala how are you getting on? The start of your induction sounded painful, 7 in 10, ouch Hope it is more going (or has gone) more smoothly.

Baby Theo was in intensive care for a day and then a lower depending ward for another. We were reunited on a ward on Sunday and finally came home yesterday. So after a bit of a rough start he is absolutely fine... & sooo beautiful. Section is a bit delicate and it's made feeding difficult (not to mention the 2 days on bottle formula in IC ) but we're cracking on with it. Not easy is it?!

May have to go and check in at the postnatal thread to find some other people up all night feeding... I miss sleep

40 weeks today for me. Had a sweep last Wednesday and another booked for tomorrow. Induction scheduled for Monday if nothing has happened by then, but hoping that it doesn't come to that.

Happy Due Date Lordy - and Raines and me!!

Was up for about 3 hours last night. Woken at 1 by an awkward pain at the top of my bump, went to the loo and had a huge pee which seemed to relieve it!Then the baby was body popping all over the place and head butting me really painfully down the way. Was also having frequent but short contractions that I could easily breathe through, but being whacked in the pelvis area was not sleep-able through at all. Eventually got up for tea and toast and finally got to sleep at about 4. So much for resting before labour.

Happy due date, muddy and lordy (and me!). No sign of anything here. I've shifted expectations to the end of the week now. Had obvious signs with DS2 about 36hrs before labour and was expecting the same, but there's nothing yet. Had no warning at all with DS1 but tend to think that's because I was a FTM. Hope we all kick off ASAP!!!

I'm just logging in to let you know that lo and myself are doing fine x

I have not read back but I'm sure some of you will be wondering how we are !
It has been a bit of a roller coaster ride this past fortnight. Main thing is we are all doing good and totally in love with baby x

I am desperate to know how many baby's have been born and who's had what :) I will try and check out the stats and thread. In the meantime, love & congrats to all you mummies cradling your new babies and good luck to those still waiting ???? xx

Congratulations Broody.

All the very best lala clstow charlie and the other fab ladies waiting for their bundle of joy, not long now.

Baby Dara and I are doing great, my catheter is out and my bladder sensitivity back to normal, yayy!

Baby Dara is latching on great and I express regularly to give OH and my mum the chance to feed him and I get a break. My mum bless her still over feeds him, OH paces his feeds and he gets impatient, I can't win .

I still get up for the night time feeds even though my mum helps with that, but I am up once I hear him cooing and protesting during his nappy change, bless him.

Hope everyone is doing great and settling well into mummyhood.

Thanks to those who are keeping us end-of-month mums company. Can't believe how old some of the "July" babies are now!

I'm still checking in to see how the last of us are doing. Pumping away! Never thought I would be doing this at 2am!

I am still checking in too for news. Not long to go now until all our babies are here!
Jess is 3 weeks today and mostly doing well, putting on weight etc but she has been very unsettled which is fun with a toddler who is currently teething and desperate for attention. First day on my own today!

Still pregnant! 41w tomorrow, still reasonably relaxed, going for some of the old wives tales for inducing labour but no interest in sweeps etc at this point. Meeting some of the NCT ladies for lunch!

Thanks for checking in ladies, it's nice to hear your news while playing the waiting game. Seems everyone is getting their heads round their new bundles which is v encouraging
40+4 today and feeling a bit fed up but trying to stay upbeat. Sweep on Friday if nothing before then.

Quick interim update. Waters broke last night so after a few hours in hospital am home to hope things kick off. I'm on the clock now. Been having contractions every 10 minutes that were painful enough. Thinking they may be tailing off now though.

Ooo sounds promising Muddy. Hope things get moving on their own for you, but even if not, at least the end is in sight.

Nice that some delivered ladies are still checking in on us! Think we really need the pom-poms waving at this point- or I do, anyway! Nothing going on this end yet...

Thanks guys. Contractions did indeed tail off. Went for a walk with my trail of water and now back bouncing frantically on the ball. Not holding out much hope for natural progression now but yes at least it will be over with soon! Might still squeeze into July

Pretty sure mine is gonna be an August baby. 40+5 and no plug, no waters, no nothing. Kind of feel like I'm doing something wrong but am doing lots of walking and bouncing and eating spicy food... Waiting sucks.
