EEeeeeEeeeek! Think I may have wet myself! Or somethings happening! Woke up feeling. Going quite damp (sorry for TMI ar this hour ) and was very mucusy - mostly clear with little blob of brown! Had a huge wee and now just feel like ive sprung a leak and dribbling a bit! No pain or anything! Will have a cup of tea and re- evaluate! Anyone else have this? Don't want to panice if just wee ! X

Stinkylinky · 30/06/2015 06:35

Little Rudy arrived last night, so in love! Delivery was traumatic, baby was tangled in his cord, had to have a forceps delivery and lost a lot of blood. Wishing you all smoother deliveries than mine was but I would do it all again in a heartbeat Smile

NurseP · 30/06/2015 07:03

Congratulations stinky! Gorgeous! X

smallgreenbanana · 30/06/2015 07:46

Congratulations stinky what a lovely picture! Lots of wishes for a speedy recovery.

nurse Mucus sounds like show. Wee could be waters. Call your midwife/assessment line?

Aretepetite · 30/06/2015 07:56

I haven't caught up on thread yet !

Just wanted to say "Full Term Today" Grin

So yes, Baby you can come now ;)
S & S done yesterday, been niggling since. Fx it kickstarts labour !

Thanks for the new thread Broody

I'm going to read back - hope everyone is doing well Cake

NurseP · 30/06/2015 07:56

Thanks banana. I kind of hope so! Will ring my community MW after a shower .have been pottering about for a couple of hours- washing done, garden watered, kitchen swept! Didn't want to get in a panic over wetting myself! X

charlieis30 · 30/06/2015 08:03

broody it's the MLU at St Marys Paddington. So it's only a floor away from the labour ward if needed. They have 5 rooms there and apparently are hardly ever full, the rooms also convert into proper bedrooms afterwards with a double bed so DH can stay for the up to 24h they normally keep you. There's a little kitchen and washing machines so you can even wash your manky labour clothes before you go home if you want to!

FC it all works out and I can use it!

nurse gross as it sounds, I was told to try to smell the liquid. Wee smells like, well, wee... waters should smell a bit sweet. Plus you can't hold waters in, whereas you can stop a wee flow. Good luck!!!

LaLaLaaaa · 30/06/2015 08:03

Morning! Congratulations stinky! You sound very much smitten!

Nurse it does sound like your show and waters. Love the calmness :)

38 weeks today and feeling weird. Getting achy pains in back and bump and occasionally stabby pain since yesterday. Needing to poo a lot (sorry tmi!) but it's not diarrhoea. Also needing to wee every half hour or so. Feeling bit sick too.

I'd love baby to come soon, I'm ready and desperate to meet him. But trying not to get hopes up!

LaLaLaaaa · 30/06/2015 08:04

Nurse whack a pad in so you can monitor the liquid. It does sound like waters

dancinglorna1984 · 30/06/2015 08:22

Congratulations Stinky on little Rudy, wishing you a fast recovery Smile

I had the worst nights sleep ever, have had to order a fan from Amazon. 27.3 degrees in the bedroom this morning Sad

LaLaLaaaa · 30/06/2015 08:23

I have a fan in bedroom. Best thing ever bought

Thepurplegiraffe · 30/06/2015 08:26

Congratulations Stinky, sorry to hear it was traumatic for both of you but so glad you are both doing ok now. These babies are coming thick and fast!

Aretepetite · 30/06/2015 08:29

Aww Stinky he is absolutely gorgeous x well done you and welcoming to the world baby Rudy xx

Many congratulations to all the Facebook mummies & Babies too x

Love & congratulations to Mister and baby Mister Grin

Good luck Must x and Nursep
Hope to hear of some more babies soon :)

Well what a difference a day makes right enough lol welcome to our new comer too x

Belated birthday wishes MrsF enjoy your treatments today x

I'm going to get out with dog. It's really grey at the moment. We will get the heat late afternoon. Also want to keep active following the sweep yesterday. It was very uncomfortable, led to BH (?) all day and back pains however have woke up and feels a lot more settled. Not totally though.

I really want a July baby so.... just not mid July lol x original date by lmp (& temping etc) is 3/7 . Not a massive difference.

broodylicious · 30/06/2015 08:30

Congrats stinky! Enjoy your newborn cuddlesSmile

nurse, ooh sounds like your waters! Defo call your mw or assessment centre as they'll want you to go in to check for infection risk etc. hope things progress beautifully x

Aretepetite · 30/06/2015 08:36

Oh ! I would love an air con unit and I'm in Scotland Shock hope you are all getting plenty of respite from the heat.
I am concerned about temp in baby's room Broody Confused will have to look for a solution - south facing and sun all day/night. Think some heavy curtains drawn in the day to start off! Hmm

Happy reunion Jmojo have fun with dh Grin

SparklyPenguin · 30/06/2015 09:07

Ooh, lots to catch up on! Thanks for the new thread, broody.
Huge congrats on your gorgeous boy, stinky, sorry the birth wasn't easy but hope you're recovering well. Good luck nurse, sounds like things are starting! Also hope everything's ok with you must. Welcome dancinglorna.
Mixed news from the midwife yesterday- the iron tablets have clearly paid off as my level's back up to 13 Smile so I'm eligible for the mlu again, woohoo! However my BP was borderline high yesterday for the first time, very swollen feet, and also a little protein in wee. Got to closely monitor for any other symptoms before my next appointment. Though not much I can do about fat feet in this weather! That Dyson fan looks fab and very tempting but I reckon I'll make do with our cheap one for now. Hope everyone's coping with the heat ok x

charlieis30 · 30/06/2015 10:25

I've lived in Australia and Asia and I'm a huge fan of fans to keep home cool (whoops didn't mean to do that!) I bought one of those Gro Eggs so we can monitor the temp really easily and we plan to keep windows open and fans going as much as possible to keep the air circulating. Defo keep curtains/blinds closed if you can but remember to open everything up again in the evening to get the night breezes. Otherwise I guess LO will just be wearing a nappy and short sleeved vest most of the time.

Number3cometome · 30/06/2015 10:28

Congratulations stinky!

Survived the train journey to work today, not sure I will survive the way home in this heat!

London is not the ideal place to work when 37+2!

Off tomorrow, Thursday, Monday & Thursday again, so actually only 5 days left in the office woop!!

MuddyWellyNelly · 30/06/2015 10:46

Marking place. Congrats on new arrivals though can't see pics on phone. 36 weeks today and arrival still seems a long way off, I can't believe how many babies are here already. Mind you I was always one of the later ones on the thread. Seeing consultant later to see if it's turned or if a CS will be booked in. Hoping for the former but in all honesty I think it's still breech.

broodylicious · 30/06/2015 10:47

With hot bedrooms/houses, the problem comes when there's no breeze - I've all the windows open but there's not a single breeze! ConfusedConfused

congrats stinky Rudy is absolutely adorable!!

SueV14 · 30/06/2015 11:21

Congrats Stinky! Hope you recover quickly! Flowers

My baby has acted crazy for ca 2 hours yesterday eve, I think she was doing this dance: (watch from 1:10) ???? Was quite uncomfortable I have to say! She only calmed down after I took a cool shower and spent to bed!

Plan for today is to return some baby stuff to JL and to collect new stuff, get some granny panties and sleepwear for hospital bag from M&S and then redeem my voucher for a pregnancy massage I got as a bday present at harrods spa!! Very much looking fwd to the posh massage!

35+6

broodylicious · 30/06/2015 11:27

sue, second timer advice - don't get your granny pants and hospital nighties from m&s as they're going to get trashed. Instead go cheap and cheerful from primark or peacocks! And apparently, if you're preggo, you can skip the queues at primark, which makes it even better than saving loadsa money, lol! Xxx

OP posts:
SueV14 · 30/06/2015 11:49

Thanks Broody! I'll see if I have primary or peacocks nearby (moved house recently, don't know the area yet). Maybe I'll go for super sainsbury instead, we have one nearby with clothes and everything!

Charliej86 · 30/06/2015 12:25

37+4 today, been to midwife this morning. Clear wee, good no, no concern to cankles. Bump measuring 38cms, spot on for my growth chart. Baby head down and 4/5.
OH has started his new job so has the car meaning I'm walking a lot more than I would have been so hopefully things will be moving along soon.

Congratulations stinky
