My internet will be gone tomorrow for a couple of weeks, so if anyone is interested and up with a newborn Wink keep an eye on the nightowl thread, as I have a mners number and she will update on there for me

smallgreenbanana · 25/07/2015 10:01

sherbet Big congratulations! Wishing you well for a swift recovery and taking your LO home as soon as poss. Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 25/07/2015 11:10

Yay sherbet congratulations! Fantastic to hear he's here at last.

I've been awake all night with lower back pain. Contractions started then stopped. Again.

Not enjoying end of pregnancy at all!

smallgreenbanana · 25/07/2015 12:10

I think I've missed a few births, so congrats to everyone. MrsF a very cute little bundle you have Smile

For ladies still waiting, good luck! Look forward to hearing your news soon Flowers

Thepurplegiraffe · 25/07/2015 12:10

Congratulations to Sherbert and all the other new arrivals! Sounds like you had a difficult time but at least they acted and made sure everything was ok.

Good luck Broody hope everything is going ok, it sounds very positive for avoiding an induction.

JoY007 · 25/07/2015 12:36

Hello Ladies,

Congrats sherbet and the new arrivals. mrsF he is an absolute gem, congrats again xxx

broodylicious · 25/07/2015 21:14

MuddyWellyNelly · 25/07/2015 21:19

Congrats Sherbet :)

MrsF, he is adorable! And I'm glad things look better with the cat too. That looks like a very comfy spot....

Did a lot of walking today, about 5 hours on my feet all told. Hope it does something. 39+4 and induction looming fast. Would really rather start under my own steam.

Broody, hope things have moved on for you.

MuddyWellyNelly · 25/07/2015 21:20

Ah cross post. Congratulations Flowers.

MustBeLoopy390 · 25/07/2015 21:31

Congrats to all those who have had their little ones! Flowers sorry I keep falling off thread, in the middle of a two-stage move, currently on mils sofa until Wednesday at the earliest, but we do have keys for the new house so can start moving little things :) Sebastian is thriving on mammy milk and I just can't believe he will be three weeks old on Tuesday :/ times flying.

SparklyPenguin · 25/07/2015 21:31

Congratulations Broody and Sherbert, lovely news Flowers

MrsFbabyNo1 · 25/07/2015 21:54

Congratulations on baby Theo's arrival sherbet. Sounds like your mummy instincts got you to the hospital, which is where you needed to be. Hope you are recovering well and will get your newborn snuggles soon. Smile

Well done Broody, seems booking an induction gets these little ones to get a wriggle on! Sounds like you had a great time and another beautiful lady to your brood. Grin

What / where's this nightowl thread FattyMc? We need to know how you get on!

LaLaLaaaa · 25/07/2015 22:09

Congratulations broody!!!

I've been in early labour all day but contractions have now tailed off. Being induced tomorrow

Clstow · 25/07/2015 22:33

Congratulations to Sherbert and Broody - and thanks to all for the birth stories. I really enjoy reading them, and the positive ones do fill me with hope. It's my due date today and LO hadn't decided to make an appearance but I'm hoping he'll be along before too long. Best of luck to those in the early stages of labour, it's funny being the end of the month, not many of us left now...

smallgreenbanana · 26/07/2015 07:40

Congratulations broody !

Wow, what a journey we've all been on together folks! Nearing the end of this bit, and now... all the rest to go!

Good luck clstow

LaLaLaaaa · 26/07/2015 07:43

Going in for induction in a few hours...eek!

Thepurplegiraffe · 26/07/2015 09:17

Good luck Lala!

Raines100 · 26/07/2015 14:48

Congratulations Sherbert. Hope you and little one are reunited soon and at 100% health.
Congratulations Broody. Wonderful news!
Good luck with the induction Lala. No doubt you're in full swing at the minute! Hope all goes well.

Is it just 3 of us left now? Me, Muddy and Clstow? I have big hopes for tomorrow, as that's when both previous DCs were born. Hoping for the beginning of something overnight.

39+5

charlieis30 · 26/07/2015 14:53

Congrats to sherbert and broody!

Best of luck lala

More irregular cramps for me today (40+3), including lots of stingy cervical ones. FC for me! Feeling so lazy, had a nap earlier and am now trying to bounce on ball but want to lie down!

LaLaLaaaa · 26/07/2015 16:03

Pessary is in and contractions 5 in 10 mins. Here's hoping I get my baby today!

Clstow · 26/07/2015 19:42

Good luck Lala and Charlie Smile

Plenty of ball bouncing here as well... Doesn't seem to be making any impact at all!

Raines100 · 27/07/2015 08:14

Good luck Lala. Hope the process hasn't been too protracted and things went/are progressing nicely.

Sorry I forgot you, Charlie. Had you confused with the other one. Sounds like you're building up to something! Have my fx for you.

Hope something happens for you soon Clstow. Nothing going on here either. Really thought something might kick off last night as it did with both DSs, but absolutely zip. EDD tomorrow- have never made it before, let alone been overdue, so I'm going to have to reset my expectations. DH was gutted to go back to work this morning. He came home demob happy on Fri, thinking he had 2 weeks off!

Good luck Muddy- pretty sure she's being induced today?

LaLaLaaaa · 27/07/2015 09:05

Hi ladies!
Yesterday was interesting! Had pessary put in at midday. I turned out to be extremely sensitive to it and went into hyper contraction, 7 in 10 minutes and extremely painful! They eventually took it out at 9pm only to find I was still only 2cm dilated!

Managed to get some sleep with the help of co codamol and today we are doing it all again. About to find out if they are going to do pessary again or try the gel. Not looking forward to it as the pain was excruciating.

Baby is now 13 days overdue. 41+6

charlieis30 · 27/07/2015 09:50

Morning ladies, nothing from me still. Cramps seem to have stopped. Off for more acupuncture!

Naty1 · 27/07/2015 10:13

Lala last time i went straight to the drip at 2cm.surely they would have more control with that?
