I've just seen I'm on there, thanks. Anybody else struggling with coordination? I went flying at the park today, thankfully landed on my knees and hands not bump but I was the same through my last pregnancy falling over all the time and can't believe it's started already

sauvblanc21 · 28/04/2015 20:38

treacle still no definite movements felt over here, hear it can take aaaages for first timers tho I'm not fretting yet. Fingles crossed Smile

Soontobe I'm sure I'm banging into tables and dropping pens more often at then mo! And the worst thing is I've started forgetting the names of students I've been teaching for years! Confused

BeautyBoo · 28/04/2015 20:45

Sundaysmumisfullofwine · 28/04/2015 21:16

checking in.

Fainted on the bus this afternoon, usually get the tram but they weren't running because of some problem or other, bus was too hot. Was fine though, sat down and no problems after. Did this a few times last pregnancy when I got too hot in the summer as well. Need to remember to start carrying a bottle of water with me again.

ambientolf · 28/04/2015 21:22

Scan was today & everything was fine - I'm so happy. Team blue & the little one has been kick boxing in there today! It's lovely feeling him move as I have only felt it over the last couple of days (20+5 now). I can now relax!!

Mrseb28 · 28/04/2015 21:33

Checking in :-)

Hare5260 · 28/04/2015 21:55

monkey me too, seems like loads of movement up until yesterday but now not so much. Placenta is anterior so I'm guessing baby has switched sides and is now kicking that rather than anywhere else. Had a listen with the doppler and hb is still steady (138 or so bpm) and heard kicking so feel a little more relaxed, though I know you can't rely on the doppler for reassurance. 22 weeks tomorrow, 17 until maternity leave...sounds so far away!!

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 29/04/2015 06:13

Sundaysmum are these London trams or elsewhere? Do you have a badge? Been a lifesaver for me when it's busy,.the seat is more about space and air than my feet just now!

If not London then happy to get you one and post it up.

Sundaysmumisfullofwine · 29/04/2015 06:38

Manchester lastnight. The tram itself is usually fine and I get on at the terminus so always get a seat, it's only because it wasn't running I was on the bus. I forgot I do have a tfl badge from last time I was pregnant, never really used it much though.

Mrseb28 · 29/04/2015 08:09

Off to work for sickness meeting this morning know I shouldn't but I feel nervous! I know it's just going to be pressure to go back to work!

Been having lots of flutters this morning and last night hope that is baby and not the nerves ha x

Treaclepie19 · 29/04/2015 08:27

Good luck mrseb, don't go back if you're not ready.
I'm signed off now for the rest of my pregnancy.

Just been enjoying this hilarious old MN thread about the preg symptoms nobody warns you about:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/1213807-Things-about-pregnancy-that-no-one-tells-you?pg=1&order=

Boodlymummy · 29/04/2015 10:43

Just had a funny turn on train and had to get off for air, but the internet has reassured me this is common, and this thread has cheered me right up! In fact I now want a day of just being pregnant, not going to college, so am tempted to get train home, eat a lot of pasta, nap and watch a nice film.

TheMidnightHour · 29/04/2015 10:51

Had our second attempt at a 20w scan this morning. Little one still being awkward so only photo is a blurry foot! All seems OK and it's a little girl :) Would have been chuffed either way, but finding out the sex did make it feel more real so I'm glad we did in the end.

Hooray my little one has started moving again (or has moved position so I can feel him again). Last night slightly tipsy DH started chatting away to bump whilst resting his head on it (until I told him to get his spiky face off and have a shave!) then when he went off to bed and I was laying on the sofa I started to get little flicks and actually saw one from the outside! lol

DH now thinks his voice is the key Grin

Choccyhobnob · 29/04/2015 11:16

Glad everything was ok midnight!

Thanks for all the pillow advice, am so tired in the day and then can't sleep at night which is mega frustrating.

Just had sad news, my best friend from school had her 12w scan today and the baby had died. Was so excited to be both pregnant and so upset for her that things haven't worked out :-(
